  • Hello, I am a nurse practitioner working in both urgent care and the emergency department. This is a short video of a day in my life. I also discuss why as a Muslim I pray at work. Thanks for watching!

Maasha'Allaah! I am germaphobic and I tried to pray at work, but I cannot make myself to perform Wadu at work. Insha'Allaah Khary.

Wow I can’t believe I just discovered your channel. Mashallah you pray at work, that made me so happy- alhamdulla. I am a RN as well thinking of going for NP but just haven’t made up my mind yet which to do either psych NP or FNP.

Thank you! If you like psych then go for psych NP. Less saturated than FNP

I loved this video showing when you pray. I am Christian but I respect how Muslims devote time to pray something I should do more often. Two questions: How to learn reading basic XR pictures for recent novice NP grads. As a beginner what app or other resource do you recommend when you are prescribing anything. Thank you for such good content!

    Alhamdulillah ahk,
I am applying to a BSN second degree accelerated program. I got my bachelors in pre-medicine, unfortunately life got in the way and my goals got changed. I've been researching the NP field and I seem to like the autonomy any regrets of pursuing this career and any advice for someone like myself?

Salaam, if you're looking for the most autonomy then med school is your best bet. Many states have full practice authority but there may still be some hoops and hurdles to overcome. If you don't mind not being the "top person in charge" then NP is a good option.
