How I Use Hair Rollers on Wet Hair + How I Style My Curtain Bangs

  • Since I cut my hair and got curtain bangs, i've been finding new ways to style my hair. I started using velcro hair rollers as a "hands free" option to styling my hair (im so lazy, I want my hair to look 🔥 with as little effort as possible). To make the process ~extra~ quick, I roll my hair while it'ss wet and dry it quickly with the bonnet.
    I'll tell you what guys, I LOVE this technique of doing my hair. It's super affordable (everything can be ordered on amazon), and it keeps you hands free (for the most part). It gives my hair so much bounce and volume, and its so cute with just the rollers that I can leave it just like that. OR I can choose to curl it to add a little shape to it.
    This was so easy to learn! I'll link the video that helped me get the hang of it.
    10/10 recommend using this technique if you want more volume in your hair.

    I didn’t think women used rollers much nowadays. My adult children tell me it’s old school, but I still like to use them.😁
    My hair has always been thick and frizzy with a lot of natural curl, but the big rollers can straighten and smooth hair while giving it lots of bounce and a smoother curl depending on the size of the roller.
    I too have a bonnet hair dryer - mine is a hard bonnet. Once you get the hang of it, rollers are easy and fast to do, they don’t tire my hand like the blow dryer does. I just sit under the dryer for whatever time it takes to dry my hair and relax either doing my nails, reading from my iPad, or playing games on the iPad.
    You did your rollers beautifully. Your hair turned out gorgeous!👍🏻

    Thank you so much for making the tutorial clear and easy to understand. I'm forever on a hair curling journey. I had tried curling irons, socks, heatless curl ribbons, but never the old vintage style. It seems so fun and a bit challenging. Though the way you showed it really encourages me to try it out. Thanks!

      If there's a dollar tree in your area, it's a really inexpensive place to get curlers! There's twist ones, clip ones, or velcro ones (I'd personally just suggest the first two). Most come in different sizes, too! Small rollers=tighter curls.

    Hey! Can you let it dry on it’s own? Like, rolling it with slightly damp hair then unroll when it’s fully dry? Gorgeous results! ❤️

    • @sarahlalao
      @sarahlalao 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can but it's better to use the bonnet bc the way hair curls best is by cooling down from being hot . So you'll get much better results by using a bonnet and then letting it cool down after .

      I can’t remember exactly what size rollers I used, but they were the biggest ones in the pack I had and they fit under this one! I definitely had to be careful but it worked, it’s linked on my amazon storefront!
