13:40 Unfortunately it is almost impossible to find old heritage strains of tomatoes and cucumbers. Im old enough to remember those and all I can say it was in whole different class than what we have today. 18:40 Kajmak is basically milk fat with some milk in it. After boiling fresh milk right after milking and cooling milk fat starts to float on top. We call that top layer Kajmak. When we scoop it with spoon it can be used like that. We call it Mladi Kajmak(Young Kajmak), better translation would be fresh kajmak. It has creamy texture and milky aroma. If it's left to be fermented/cured it will get more and more cheesy texture and aroma. Like cheese with very high content of fat. If you are still in Serbia try going to some open market and buying different types of it. Buy some fresh bread, ajvar and try it together.I would recommend Somun bread, it is type of flatbread you were eating with that minced meat grill. You can add some cured/smoked meat to it too.
Hey, I also had breakfast at this café @0:40 when I was in Valencia last April. The city is interesting and charming. How come they had fresh asparagus at the market in October? The last restaurant would be too noisy for me. Great video!
Oh wow! 😀 I still eat fresh asparagus and it’s delicious 😅 It’s written on the package that it’s from Andalusia. It was very noisy there indeed 🥲 very tasty but too noisy…
Wonderful video. We hope you both are safe, sending our positive vibes your way. Do you or your husband edit and add in the music? The videos are terrific and just interested as if we get over to Valencia we were thinking of making videos as well. Thanks for a fun video, great topic!
Thanks Mark!! Luckily we are safe! The center of Valencia wasn’t hit by the flood. No, I do everything by myself I only ask him to film me occasionally 🙂 Oh, I would love to watch your videos as well! ☺️ You’ll need to share them with me! Thank you for your support!
Yes I mentioned that in the video ☺️ it’s just I see quite a few places that are offering pinchos or Basque cusine here. I love them 🤩 I had many times paella and fideuá 😃
Los pinchos y las tapas son típicas de toda España, no solo en Euskadi. En Bilbao y Donosti hay muy buenos pinchos, pero también en Andalucía y en Castilla.
Great video, you promote Valencia better than a Valencian. I hope that you and your family, as well as all Valencians, are well and have not suffered any mishap due to the terrible storms that have occurred in the Valencian Community. Other thing, you look a lot like "Wonderfully Ale". Greetings.

The pinchos at Tanto Monta are incredibly delicious. I had the pleasure of trying them during my last visit to Valencia ☺️

p.s. nice that you are in my barrio - Patraix
pinchos are not typically valencian, the are basque.
You should try paella or fideuá if you like fish
