Build quality is fine. In fact it gets better with each Venom built. These aren’t OEM cars that have billions in tooling and technicians to piece together. These are bespoke automobiles that are built to spec for each customer who orders one. Are there problems? Certainly. Pagani, Koenegsegg ran into the same problems. Can you give me specifics on customers that were scammed?
@@chloehennessey6813 Yea I don't think they're scammers, so much as it's just really freaking hard to build 1800bhp cars... Even Koenigsegg, while very established and consistent today compared to 10 years ago, still see challenges particularly with the early examples in their production lines.
I am glad this car came from Hennessey. In between the conventional exotics, hypercars, and - as of late - a certain very vanilla electric automaker, it is nice to see a naturally aspirated, LS-based domestic that can chew each and every one of them up and spit them out as roadkill. I love this car.
@@allwheeldrive not saying that it isn't a production car as it meets that requirement technically, however a production car is defined as a cars made by a manifacturer for the masses, road leagal and avaliable to the public. It still is a production car.
Something I love about the Chiron is the simplicity of the cabin it's not trying too much it's just elegant I love Koenigsegg too although I hate that square steering on the jesko but this steering wheel it's just trying too much
What the most amazing to me about the Hennessy Venom F5 is that it could accelerate from 0-250 mph In just 15.5 seconds! That's how long most cars take to get from 0-150 mph or 0-170 mph!
Not even most cars mate, an audi r8 will barely do 0-150mph in 15 seconds, a gt350r will not even get close, nevermind an average car. Absolutely mindblowing
Amazing car! I think there’re no roads in Texas, just public drag strips, if you can’t go to the private drag strips! The idea of a specialized track car is awesome, but I really would like to see how good that “street” version is doing lap times against, let’s say, a McLaren 765 LT.
The sense of acceleration from that cabin camera was a bit let down by the semi-auto slow shifting but 0-150 in any multi-million dollar current or soon to be released hypercar, combustion or electric is going to be blisteringly quick but cars like the Chiron and those designed to approach 300 and beyond like this F5, they'll be pulling away from those EV's, let's not even mention the sound of this thing which puts any Nevera or Lotus or Battista to shame.
ROFLMAO!! Yeah, sure... It pulls away at speeds over 200 mph. And where, even on what race track, are you ever going to care? Oh yeah, I forgot, all those drag races taking place out on the salt flats. And how many gallons to the mile? It is cool, the angriest engine I ever heard, but don't try to tell me about this fanasy where it even beats a Model S plaid around a race track.

My honest thoughts is that I think the difference between this and Bugatti and Koenigsegg us that those two are guaranteed to last and barely lose power as they age but this being so heavily based on drag racing spec parts we don't know how long till stuff starts wearing out
Drag racing spec parts aren't necessarily built to break, they're built to hold more power. It's just that because drag cars only need to last a quarter mile they push it so hard that it wears the engine out quickly. Just putting less boost in should help it to last properly.
He wasn’t using anywhere near full throttle, or they turned down the boost so he couldn’t use full power. Seems like our host was putting on a bit of an act, tbh.
Well done......well done making another scam to steal money from auto enthusiasts who don't know the history of Hennessey's past criminal scam. I'm actually hoping and praying that this is Hennessey's 1st car that doesn't scam a bunch of unsuspecting enthusiasts.
I love the body work and the power delivery but.....I can't pull the trigger on a car with an iPad for a dash. Build one with a traditional analog dash and instrument cluster and then I'll drop the cash. This is where Horacio Pagani wins hands down His bespoke cars blend raw power with analog guages.
I wonder if Volkswagen would let them do a top speed run at their proving grounds in Germany, it has a 5 mile straight, its where James May had a go in the Veyron.
Yeah of course they won't. The Germans like to pretend they're better than everybody and everything, so when somebody comes along and makes them look stupid they just pretend they don't exist. That car is never going to see that 5 MI track. Because they know what's going to happen.

They need to take this car to that long straight road the old top gear hosts visited. I think it was route 66 I'm not familiar with the US. The performance stats for this car are unbelievable the 0-250mph in 15 seconds
It was Route 50 somewhere in the middle of Nevada. That road would be perfect
Based on the speedo it’s doing nothing close the that time

I lost a lot of respect for Hennessy after hearing they scammed customers or build quality wasn’t up to par, but business practices aside, this car looks and sounds gnarly.
They blocked me on Instagram because I kept asking what happened to the F5 when they went quiet about it. I was a fan and was just wondering what was the latest they could share. ANd got blocked for it. Lol
Hennessy has always been a scam
Build quality is fine. In fact it gets better with each Venom built. These aren’t OEM cars that have billions in tooling and technicians to piece together.
These are bespoke automobiles that are built to spec for each customer who orders one. Are there problems? Certainly.
Pagani, Koenegsegg ran into the same problems. Can you give me specifics on customers that were scammed?
@@salvi1398 That is a lie pushed by OEMs that got mad a man and his shop were beating $5,000,000 super cars.

I am glad this car came from Hennessey. In between the conventional exotics, hypercars, and - as of late - a certain very vanilla electric automaker, it is nice to see a naturally aspirated, LS-based domestic that can chew each and every one of them up and spit them out as roadkill.
The fact that they filmed in front a Whataburger…legendary 😂😂😂
Gorgeous car. Well done Hennessy 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So the 60-120mph time is faster than 0-60mph? That's insane. Imagine hitting the gas and acceleration increasing with speed

My honest thoughts is that I think the difference between this and Bugatti and Koenigsegg us that those two are guaranteed to last and barely lose power as they age but this being so heavily based on drag racing spec parts we don't know how long till stuff starts wearing out
Yea but drag race spec parts are probably just as strong if not stronger than the internals in those cars.
Drag racing spec parts aren't necessarily built to break, they're built to hold more power. It's just that because drag cars only need to last a quarter mile they push it so hard that it wears the engine out quickly. Just putting less boost in should help it to last properly.
