When Gordon Said „… it did 240 and I think that’s still the NA record…” and Christian said “yeah it is” in an excited manner Man that send shivers down my spine I mean seeing Christian van koenigsegg “fanboying” to Gordon seems so unreal but is so geniuine Awesome interview!
Christian gives me such good vibes. Clearly a highly intelligent man who knows himself and his purpose very deeply. Would love to work for a person like him.
I also likes his take on reality with ICE vs EV in that it doesn't have to be a versus "thing" but a coexisting "thing". personally getting a little tired of this all or nothing approach we have here in the EU.
Agreed, he is a genius in his products of all the innovation into his later on whatever products, from the Ageras for eg. Then to a one gear Regera which at that time most people including me thought that didn't match what Koenigsegg ethos but he succeeded somehow and then to the Jesko, which has 9 speed LST which he jokingly said he threw all the gears from the Regera to the Jesko, his triplex suspension system etc, seen many of his videos explaining the details of whatever his products, many TH-camrs didn't even really understand 100% of his explanation 🤣. Anyway all 4 of them know what exactly their products were in their visions and all the production process. Not all the bosses would know inside out about the tiny details of what their own products were made of, be it for what purposes, from and how they were made. Let the Lamborghini boss do the talking, he is the one that will definitely be out in this conversation. He only knows to do with the best on how to make another version of his products into another version of the same car.
@@BwanaJesuasifiwealso seems like he would believe his cars are the greatest car ever and everything else isn’t a Pagani…idk maybe I’m way off but just the feel I get is all.
Not only he doesn’t speak English but he isn’t really building performance and record breaking crazy stuff and if you solely look got the fun factor/driving feedback Gordon is a lot better fit for type of show than Horacio would’ve been.
There's absolutely NOTHING humble about Murray. He is by far one of the most arrogant and self-absorbed people I have ever met. I have met CvK a few times and toured the factory, and he is so laid back and engaging to speak with. Same with Mate.
Notice the idiot below you doesn't allow reply to his comments? I think if GM was arrogant he would have introduced himself as designer of the car widely accredited as the best car of all time. Doesn't even come into his intro
Literally the greatest Top Gear video since Clarkson and Co left years ago…. To have these 4 legends on one video talking about their passion and the car industry is epic. Imagine all 4 coming together to make a car as a joint project 🤤
I think Koenigsegg is the greatest modern car company and hypercar/exotic designer. The sheer amount of detail that goes into their cars and the fact that they manufacture 99% of all of the compinents in their cars(down to bolts, lights, brake calipers, bushings, etc.) Instead of using suppliers really cements how incredible Christian's company is. However and to your point, Gordon Murray is an absolute legend and his pursuit of pure driving pleasure and perfection is unmatched.
You would think with top gears budget they could afford tables for these people's drinks, rather than them keep their drinks on the floor below their dirty shoes. How bizarre
@@buzzfightbeer8023 what you say is true, but I don't believe it makes them incredible making their own parts, at the end of the day when you don't require a price ceiling on your product everything is possible
@@superchickensoup to be fair, Christian does truly invent new ideas. A single gear and no gearbox in a car, a 600hp 2 liter 3 cilinder engine coming soon hopefully. These are just 2 examples.
Rimac is a joke really. He learned how to appear polite. A spoiled kid with a father who made a big national fraud (taxpayer money) and gave him some of it to play with cars. During high school he told the reporter that the money for his first EV project (arround 100-200k) comes from his launch money. Dont judge Mate by stories you hear. i have to just open your eyes. Bill Gates didnt invent anything, he just stole and presented other ideas. Where is he now? He is an iT person talking about vaccine and deppopulation. And he is idol to many... If you want a person that is what it is, they say Elon Musk does all, solves problems which no one can and he is what he is presented to be. I personally doubt in it, its such alot of money and so many different huge projects that you gotta question is it Cia, FBI, Nato or God knows who that helps. So Mate, yeah, if he had money before to race cars, you could say, like people do here in Balkan, do drugs, be a playboy or whatever. But no, he was car enthusiast. Then we got his ideas he got from Tesla projects. The rest is History, Rimac is a Huge thing, and he will just be bigger and bigger with time that comes. He did perfect thing at perfect timing. He bought Buggati, God knows what he will do in future. But it will be a bright future no doubt. you talk of war, how many war criminals we all have, that have alot alot of money, what good did they achieve ? What bussiness did they start ? If Mate didnt start Rimac, no one else would, probably for a while, but from Balkan, no one would come close to this in any project, but cars for sure not in this century ! You should be proud. Even if you believe or know the things you wrote are true, his progress and things he did, will do huge things in future no doubt about it. He proved it already.

I can see myself rewatching this video in 20 years and thinking how lucky is this guy having the chance to interview 4 of the biggest car company founders of our time.... It's like having Enzo Ferrari, Mr Lamborghini etc together in a room....
One of them would not leave that room under their own power. I feel like Ferruccio would do better because he's younger, but Enzo would fight dirty, so it could go either way.

As someone who works in the industry and has a real interest in both electric cars and combustion cars, it’s both heartening and interesting to hear my opinions shared by both Christian and Mate. Sympathies to the poor guy stood in the race suit as the Stig for an hour
I have mixed feelings about the rise of EV, if people want to drive an appliance to get from a to b that's fine with me but forcing taxes and restriction on enthusiast ice cars is not OK in my book.
@@davidgalea6113 being an EV doesn’t make a car an appliance. Appealing to the majority of buyers does. 90% of ICE cars are appliances, and there are plenty of examples of EVs that are far from that. Taycan, Rimac Nevera, Jag I Pace all have considerably more interaction and fun in how they drive than 90% of ice cars! Also, taxes aren’t stopping anyone from driving historic or classic ice cars. Quite the opposite I’d say!
Hi Mike, I know this is unrelated to your comment, but if you don’t mind me asking how did you get a job position in the industry. I’m a fellow car enthusiast who is pursuing a degree in this field but no luck even getting a basic mechanic job. Any tips?
Tbh Rimac founder is a very charismatic guy. I don't like electric cars, and I'm afraid of Bugatti being eletric. But I've got to be honest, he is truly a very interesting guy. He talking about his failures was good to hear, in a very inspiring way. Now I really like this guy background and determination. Incredible vídeo, probably one of the best of car legends at all.

Briefly met Mate in Montreal just before the Canadian Grand Prix - my son saw a Nevera pass by a couple of blocks up and we chased it down as we knew it would be caught in traffic. He was kind enough to roll the window down for a quick chat before silently rolling off... Epic moment my son will not forget. That said - he definitely has an emotional connection with the sound of an ICE because he has grown up with higher powered RWD noisy BMW's around.
@@poplaurentiu4148 I think the problem with those two is Elon Musk is very busy, always working pretty much and Pagani doesn't speak English. However, if those hurdles could be overcome, I definitely agree

I'm not a big fan of John Hennessy but his follow up remark is just as crucial... People like to generically mock that trucks and SUVs don't get used for their actual purpose but that's just not true. A large portion of the.Amercian work force need those trucks and need them to be reliable, capable, and able to be refueled on the fly. Shoot just a commercial mower weighs more than you think and that's just the mower, not the trailer itself or everything else you need. Also in times of emergency (I.E. - Tornados, flooding, hurricanes, ect) which is frequent here those trucks and SUVs actually do matter. Between lack of capable products (Ford Lightning, Cyber Truck, Rivian R1T which could not sustain a mowing company's needs for a day - a low bar to meet), the lack of charging infrastructure, the low turn around times, it's just not possible. Also when an EV motor goes it goes, and that's not a go to Jiffy Lube or AutoZone and sort it out kind of problem, it's in just about all cases a major job costing major money just in parts, the labor charges are going to be insane. I would bet the farm, you take your work Toyota Tundra into the dealer and then take your Cyber Truck into the dealer in any scenario, that Tundra - F150 - RAM - Whatever is gonna be 100 or 1,000 times cheaper.
I haven't watched TG since the gang left. But this practically brought me to tears. These guys are the pinnacle right now. It seems funny to me how Hennessy is not so excited about electric, but daily drives a Tesla. Also funny that they all have Tesla's. Lol
It would be a better show if every once in a while they sucked each other off, PRISON STYLE. One episode he'll be our bitch, the next episode he'll be our tranny slut. Then I'd watch.
I agree! But I can't accept the fact that TopGear put their drink on the floor. I mean it's TopGear, they could've done better than that. That thing bothers me so much. When you have important guest, you will prepare everything nicely and serve your guest with quality. Touché what a bummer
53:00 The ultimate tool of freedom, beautifully said by Christian von Koenigsegg. This is what keeps us, car enthusiasts going for cars over any other modes of travel, or at least why I choose cars
Can't forget he made the best road car ever created as well. And his company builds more cars based on that car to give people the best driving experience they can have in modern times. The guy is a living myth. I love all the other "companies" attending here ofc but Gordon simply has the most experience compared to them and it shows. Not disrespecting anyone else ther ofc.
The fact that Koenigsegg jumps into his Miata every summer week for pleasure is such a strong vote of validation for how great Miatas are. Makes me a little prouder to have one (but a little ashamed that I’m irrational enough to want to own it forever).
This made me smile, too. I loved my MX-5. Great cars and the ultimate proof sheer power isn't everything (though I don't regret the extra power my V8V has, haha). Koenigsegg having one emphasises this further.
@@Jee2497I've heard from Chris Harris on the /drive "hypercar" movie that they put out, that he speaks "perfect english but refuses/pretends to not know it" or something along those lines. Not sure how true that is, but he seems to really be into Italian culture and heritage and that was one of the reasons he moved to Italy next to Ferrari and Lamborghini. So yeah tbh I'm not sure what to believe, but from a business sense (running one with multiple employees and having business contacts), it would make a lot of sense for him to know english
This video deserves millions if not billions of views. Just to see some of the greatest Hypercar names, if not the 4 greatest Hypercar names it's just inspiring and outstanding. This is the collaboration that we wanted, needed and deserved. Imagine these four guys running the world's largest Hypercar business combining their ideas into technological, powerful and fast pieces of modern art.
I don’t know how I’ve missed this video for 3 weeks, but I couldn’t think of a better group of people to sit down and get insight from. Icons that I’ve looked up to for years now. I could listen to their conversations for days on end.
What I admire most about Gordon Murray is his fanatical attention to detail. Every component of his vehicles there a reasoning and story which accompanies it. This is often claimed about supposedly visionary CEOs, but is more often than not a hollow cliche. Absolutely love his choice of Lotus Elan series 3 because it has the best steering feel of any car he’s ever driven.
Each have their own special qualities I guess. CvK is craaaaazy innovative. Still doing things to engines and gearboxes we'd have loved to see decades ago. Rimac is doing ultra advanced things, making the rest of the industry into needy schoolboys.
What an awesome chat. All 4 are legends, although I do hold a specific fascination for Christian. The way he thinks and carries himself is absolutely inspiring to me.Great vid, thank you TG team
Sir Murray is a thief... His reputation is built on other people's work. He's just a glorified manager who had no valuable input on any of "his" masterpieces.
For some reason this reminded me of the episode when he tried to point at the best road in the world on the map. "So Jeremy, where is the best hypercar?" "Not here because they are all rednecks and they'll shoot you (points at Hennessy), not here because they are all liberals (points at Koenigsegg), not here because they'll sell your organs (points at Mate), not here because after brexit it's all shit (points at Murray)...." 🤣🤣
Even musk’s a petrol head! You can’t replace the thrill and emotion of an ICE car, sure, regular daily’s are suited for electric drivetrains. But for an enthusiast, a Bugatti buyer, you want that sound and vibration. And with future biofuel tech, it’ll never go away.
Bugatti makes 2 tonne boats built only to go on a straight line. They recently developed a v16 that is more of a train engine rather than one made for a car. They really are everything wrong with the supercar industry.
An hour long video, of which you do not really know what to expect from, turns out to be so fascinating to keep you completely hooked, only for the ending screen of the video to bring you back into reality an hour later. Great stuff!
What an incredible interview with great minds. I LOVE Christian von Koenigsegg perspective on pushing the industry to better fuel sources - A brilliant man with a global problem-solving approach for the entire industry. And to you as the host and Togpear Thanks!!!
That’s why he built a 4 seater hyper car none of this dudes could think outside the box. That’s why you can tell he’s a mechanic but the rest are just team leaders.
@@rayfighter koenigsegg has made better cars than previous cars he made in the 2000s. He made a 2L 3 cylinder that makes over 500hp. The car seats 4 has a carry on luggage. Yet Murray and Hennessy and rimac are still stuck in the 60s of making cars that seats two can’t carry two 2 luggage or none at all. Even Murray’s F1 Mclaren is still better than all the cars he makes till date. That’s to let you know they’re team leaders and not engineering genius. When you hear Koenigsegg speaks you know he works on cars engine and build and overall efficiency. The rest have less knowledge about fuel efficiency, practicality, etc
(Long essay incoming) When Gordon Murray mentioned about how a generation of people might grow up only ever knowing EVs eventually and enjoying them, it reminded me of my own experience with cars when I was younger, particularly BMWs. I grew up during the Chris Bangle era of BMWs, and I loved it to bits! I loved how simple and elegant the 3 Series of the time looked, the 5 Series with the swoopy wing-like headlights, the curvy front end of a 6 Series, etc etc When I grew older and watched clips of car shows airing during the time where those cars were new, that's when I found out how hated those designs were. People were very critical, with some saying it was either boring, ugly, a traitorous departure from traditional BMW design, or all 3 of those things. But to me, the Bangle-era BMW was the BMW I came to recognize first, and it was the BMW design language I loved. As far as I was concerned, that design language was and always will be quintessentially BMW. They may have lost some older fans, but they gained a whole generation of new ones who fell in love with the new design direction and made that generation into people who liked cars, whether it'd be for the drive, the design, or the tech & engineering, or all of those things. Now I'm on the other end of the fence, with the gigantic kidney grills on the new M4, iX, etc. I'm not a gigantic fan of it, in fact imo I think it's pretty ugly. This is probably how older BMW fans felt when the Bangle BMWs came out. But while I don't like it, there's a kid out there who's growing up and loves that design to bits and is gonna be a car guy when they grow up the same way I did. People are gonna say he or she's gonna miss out on the "good old days" , but people said the same thing during my time with BMW and I turned out to love cars still. Maybe I love things in a different way than car guys that came before me, but I love cars all the same, and the new generation of car enthusiasts are gonna go through the same experience too. I might not like what they like, hell I might hate it even, but I guess that, like Gordon Murray mentioned, is a generational thing. If you have fun with things that I personally don't, more power to you! We're allowed to like different things. I hope the younger generation has lots of fun with cars the same way I did, even if our ideas of what's fun are worlds apart. If it feels exciting for you, whether it's with EVs, hydrogen power, net-zero co2 synthetic fuel, or some other new form of alternative fuel we haven't even made yet, then my best wishes go to you and hope you keep enjoying it 👍🏻
have you seen the new mega grills in real life? I admit I hated it when i saw the first release pictures but when I saw it in real life, it was stunning. I was like "hmph, not bad! " and the more I saw it the more liked it. And when you're saying 3 series, are you talking about the e46 or E90? the e46 is in my opinion the most influential BMW of all time, the fact that they're such versatile cars and you still see them everywhere in the road for being 20+ years old at this point, plus the massive fan base.
@@Lucidbkeo Omg I totally forgot about this comment! I actually saw an M4 recently and it's actually pretty good looking in person, I was impressed! I stand corrected, at least with the M4 and iX. I haven't seen any of the other mega grill BMWs yet but I'd be happy to see them myself! Also I was talking about the e90! And not even the M3 or anything, just the plain 4-door 3 series. My mum had a 323i and I think it's a lovely design personally!
@@techpassion4126 ah, fun fact, even though Chris bangle designed the e60 5 series of that generation, he actually designed the e46 but not the E90. the E90 was designed by a Japanese man, Joji Nagashima.
@TechPassion What you posted may have been a few miles long but I can understand it perfectly from how much emotion there was present from your personal experiences. We all have our preferences, some more than others, but then again as Murray stated, the liking of certain cars is generational like with many things.
Well i grew up before bangle era but still the e60 is the best looking 5 series for me personally, only recently got switched with g10 lci so my opinion is, regardless the generational thing, CvK has the best answer regarding the ev, in fact I'm looking to buy an affordable ev for my daily since tesla is damned expensive in here, even the hyundai ev one is still cost a fortune
I've had the pleasure of having dinner with Christian von Koenigsegg and is was exactly as he was in this video: interesting, a genuine 'petrolhead', an engineer and his warmth and passion shone through. A true gentleman and both he and Mr Murray stand out in this conversation for their intelligent approach to all things automotive.
Sensational panel and wonderful discussions with insight, humility and determination among some of the very finest automotive engineering and design minds... These guys are our Enzo Ferrari, Ferrucio Lamborghini, Bruce McLaren and Colin Chapman👍🏾 Just missing Newey and Brawn...
Amazing!! Loved every second of it TG, thank you. Now, a Part 2 is in order with Adrian Newey, Horacio Pagani, Ian Callum and Ross Brawn. Please make it happen.
Best automotive panel ever. Also shows how humanity has evolved in the last 50 years as such a sit down wouldn't have been possible with Ferrari, Chapman, Shelby, Porsche/Piech et al back in the day.
I truly enjoyed listening to these great leaders. All of them have very interesting backgrounds, stories, and perspectives that are inspiring. Mate appears to be such a humble genius. Learned that in addition making and selling the Rimac Nevera & Time Attack Hypercars, he is a supplier of Electric Drive Trains, Infotainment systems, Battery Packs, and components to the OEMs through his Rimac Technology Division. I can see his technology becoming accessible to many car manufactures one day.
Wow! Even considering Mate Rimac just being 34 years young, to have these 4 icons in one room at the same time, to me it's like....well let's say; seeing for example a Citroën SM, a Lamborghini Espada, a Ferrari Daytona and a De Tomaso Mangusta at the same time lol. Thx so much for this awesome interview!! ps: if possible, how about perhaps a part 2 - with their cars included?
What an incredible opportunity to see these brilliant minds all on one stage and talking about their past, struggles, and future. One of the best YT videos I've watched in a while. Thank you.
This panel was so amazing. I would love to hear more from these visionaries. Christian's POV on all questions is rational and logical. But his statement on how humans' emotions go in overdrive to own something. Gordon is the best example of passion. His passion has fueled all the contribution to the automotive world. Also, the sense that IC vs EV transition will never be a blip on timeline but a smooth transition/coexistence John's view on failure is such an eye opener for most business owners and CXO people build success invest in people. Mate's relentless pursuit to make EV better but also admiring the contribution Elon has made to EV is so humble. Loved this content. So, much better than just cocky English jokes on TG 😅.
This one moment is what I always dream of getting a chance to experience. Having to speak with these legends and listen at their passion and innovative minds that strives for automotive excellency. I hope one day, I get to meet them or even be part of the conversation. Thank you for this Top Gear!
This is utterly wonderful. Failure is not final - as long as you get up and keep going. Isn’t that life in a nutshell. This is the most enjoyable video I’ve seen on TH-cam in ages. And more, Mate and Hennessy speaking about Elon Musk was incredibly insightful.
Fantastic Panel! Only thing i wished they debated about was Koinegeseggs auto/manual with a clutch gearbox. That is an absolute marvel and wouldve loved to hear Gordon's thoughts on it.
Spellbinding from start to finish! 4 automotive legends chatting about cars. Gordon really is the legend among legends though. Not only did he create the greatest car of all time but he's designed multiple championship winning F1 cars. Other than designing spacecraft, you can't get much better than that. It's the pinnacle of automotive engineering at least. Anyways, everyone involved in the making of this video should be very proud. Hopefully we can get a Part 2 with Mr. Pagani someday!
I just watched this, came to TH-cam from Instagram to see this. What an epic interview! Congratulations, Top Gear! When a lot of people is whining about Top Gear being "dead", you showed us that there is life after the legendary trio. I really like the You Tube Top Gear. I miss Horacio Pagani in this video, hopefully he would be in a next reunion with his translator. Greetings from Pergamino, Argentina 🇦🇷
Maybe even one of the best interviews/conversations of the last 2 decades. We need more of this and the fact that these people are willing and want to share their knowledge but also failures with everyone is truly inspiring even in these difficult days we live in. Magnificent to say the least. At some points of the conversation i was thinking what each of them has achieved and its truly mind blowing
I can't stop thinking how these guys were able to pull up some time in their already crazy agendas to just sit down and chat. This is just outstanding!
Legendary! To have these icons all in one place, and all so humbly talking about cars, their rivalry, opposition and still having admiration regardless. Truly inspirational...
When I first meet with Christian Von Koenigsegg. He absolutely humble, kind person I know. He share just a simple story about his life, building his career path & how to grow to be a never give up person. Truly remarkable. Until then he become my favorite role for going success like him… 😁
I love how all of them show pure respect for each other and know each other's work, just beautiful to see all these legends together talking about cars!
All 4 of them are very successful businessmen and engineers with loads of achievements in their portfolio. But no amount of their success dissolved the very essence which drove them to their points in careers at all. They are all car enthusiasts in heart, which we all are. These answers were delightful and it felt like I was listening to 5 people who really likes cars just like us, and I could relate with every point of view they brought up. Amazing video, Top Gear!
I really like Mate Rimac. He just seems like a good dude with a ton of humility and an unbreakable spirit. To have accomplished what he has by 34 is amazing. In my job in technical sales and bus dev I work with a lot of product design engineers. His demeanor and attitude reminds me a lot of the guys I’ve met throughout my career that are particularly great to work with. It’s a combination of high intelligence, creativity and drive but with very little ego. That makes such a fun and easy environment to accomplish big things.
The fact that FOUR guys with allegedly busy schedules coming from all different areas of the planet to meet and have an in person conversation rather than a zoom meeting per se, says a lot about their dedication to their work.
would've loved to see horacio pagani in this too! anyways this interview was highly inspirational and amazing to listen these living legends share their experiences live.
I met Christian in LV at a solid works convention, super nice guy, got to sit in the first car he built. He has done well and designed and invented so many things, carbon fiber rims, most powerful 3 cylinder engine,
I completely understand what Murray was explaining when he was talking about the 15 wins out 16 races in a season, and how that loss was an important in it's own way. One year when I played in youth league soccer, I was on a team that just dominated every other team for the entire season. I don't remember how many matches we played that year but I remember that the only match we lost was the 2nd to last match of the season. When I say dominated it's not an understatement. We were winning matches 7-nil, 9-1, 5-nil etc. We lost 3-1 and it was because of 2 contributing factors; 1st our opponents came ready to play and 2nd we didn't have our heads in the game until we were down 2-nil at 1/2. By the time we refocused ourselves it was too late, the other team had the momentum and they were driven by their success. Losing that match helped to serve as a reminder that we were good but being good is not enough if we weren't mentally in it. Having won the league we went to the regional playoffs and made it to the championship match, which was the farthest a team from our league ever made it. I have a feeling had we not lost that match during the season that we wouldn't have made it nearly as far as we did post season.
I'd love these guys to do a filmed track day and drive each other cars....Maybe the best idea I've had all month... You're welcome TG
Brooo I'd love to see that.

Anyway all 4 of them know what exactly their products were in their visions and all the production process.

I loved how simple and elegant the 3 Series of the time looked, the 5 Series with the swoopy wing-like headlights, the curvy front end of a 6 Series, etc etc
When I grew older and watched clips of car shows airing during the time where those cars were new, that's when I found out how hated those designs were.
These guys are our Enzo Ferrari, Ferrucio Lamborghini, Bruce McLaren and Colin Chapman👍🏾
Just missing Newey and Brawn...
Amazing!! Loved every second of it TG, thank you. Now, a Part 2 is in order with Adrian Newey, Horacio Pagani, Ian Callum and Ross Brawn. Please make it happen.
Horacio doesn't speak english so it wouldn't be the same with an interpreter.
Best automotive panel ever. Also shows how humanity has evolved in the last 50 years as such a sit down wouldn't have been possible with Ferrari, Chapman, Shelby, Porsche/Piech et al back in the day.
Was waiting for someone to notice and write this.
It's "easier" for these guys cos they're boutique manufacturers, so the founders are more intimate with what they work on
I truly enjoyed listening to these great leaders.
Damn I loved how humble Matt seemed. 34 and top of the automotive world. It’s a dream, people. He will be a great role model for many of us engineers.
55 minutes with these guys, certainly worth the price of admission. Well done.
It’s an hour of my life I’ve lost but would never want back ❤
I couldn't have said it better
Also, the sense that IC vs EV transition will never be a blip on timeline but a smooth transition/coexistence
John's view on failure is such an eye opener for most business owners and CXO people build success invest in people.
❤
😍I definitely agree with you about señor Pagani!
Whoever pulled this off deserves a promotion. Fantastic video.
All four of these guys are absolute legends in this industry, this is like the avengers of the automotive world
I love how Gordon Murray said he only had 3 jobs while holding up 4 fingers 😂
Good spot Hammond
all this panel needs is horacio, but regardless, EPIC panel. all of them are legends
sad horacio doesnt know how to speak English
Yes!!!
Yeah the language barrier is probably the main reason.
I bet he was invited but probably declined because of the language barrier.
@@Nobeyx I have heard that he does know how to speak English but he just refuses to :P
To be honest I didn’t watch a Top Gear Video since (you know what happened) But that is one of the greatest Interview Formats I’ve ever seen!
What is that "you know what happened"?
@@chidanands9950 Since the original cast (Hammond, May and Clarkson) left the show for The Grand Tour.
I can't stop thinking how these guys were able to pull up some time in their already crazy agendas to just sit down and chat. This is just outstanding!
They still have to say why their Car is Better than the rest. That's the aim of shows like TG, Advertising. Great Show TG, thank you.
Legendary! To have these icons all in one place, and all so humbly talking about cars, their rivalry, opposition and still having admiration regardless. Truly inspirational...
Can we just agree and admire that could potentially be the greatest automotive interview in history😭😭😭🔥🔥
Fantastic stuff
The dude on the back just chillin for 1 hour
The stig
bro i thought that was manequin
The most mind blowing chat with some of the most fascinating people on this planet.
Legends! Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen!
Living legends including 34 year old Mate Rimac. Well done TG!
ngl I thought he said 24 haha
@@sportturismo_4s fr
This is a genuinely fantastic idea and line up. Good job TG team!!
The fact that FOUR guys with allegedly busy schedules coming from all different areas of the planet to meet and have an in person conversation rather than a zoom meeting per se, says a lot about their dedication to their work.
yes.... especially considering what an uncomfortable and unsuitable chairs they were provided with
would've loved to see horacio pagani in this too!
anyways this interview was highly inspirational and amazing to listen these living legends share their experiences live.
Sadly he only speaks Italian in interviews but agreed
@@connorleeduckworth8952 or spanish. The guy is argentinian. Still, it wouldnt work either way
I guess he was asked to but declined.
@@ingeip4970 I doubt it, he can't speak English, so that wouldn't have worked out.
@@TheEchelon I‘ve heard he can speak English, but not eloquently enough to feel comfortable in interviews like this
I met Christian in LV at a solid works convention, super nice guy, got to sit in the first car he built. He has done well and designed and invented so many things, carbon fiber rims, most powerful 3 cylinder engine,
He has a very obvious passion.
