it's because the impact is offset to the driver side, and the energy is mostly transferred to the driver
Wrong. Passenger airbag did not deploy because the passenger seat was not occupied. It needs to have a certain weight on the seat to tell the airbag sensor to fire the airbag (this helps protect young children from the explosive force of the airbag)

they have used the same elements as the Nissan Navara therefore the car is not a real mercedes.
Xerxes 2500, the G class - one of their most iconic cars is not a "real" Mercedes either.

I hate that is a Mercedes in logo only and everything else is Nissan. Nissan is a good..decent company but Mercedes is better then that. Infiniti using Mercedes parts is fine but the other way around? No I think that hurts the brand. I’m so glad this isn’t coming to the USA and won’t sell a lot!
