Mat’s in a Mercedes Actros, with a huge 10.7-litre engine that produces 480hp! Alongside him, we’ve got Yianni, who’s in the Scania R500, with an epic 13-litre engine that’ll put down 500hp!!
It’s the first time both Mat and Yianni have driven a HGV, and given how they’re so evenly powered, this one is too close to call… And just wait until they add the trailers on as well!

I had the chance to drive the back then prototype for the 2017 Freightliner New Cascadia, with a DD 10 gear transmission pulling a 25T load. Suddenly we were doing over 120km/hr during a Road test. It was great. Loved the truck.

When you were towing, I notice the load cover was deployed on the Scania, opposed to an open load for the Merc. I still reckon the Merc would have got trounced but the Merc must have had increased drag imposed on it. But it helped with braking.

Creo que todos, jóvenes o mayores, deberían tener un plan de inversión que aumente su rendimiento financiero de tres cifras a seis cifras. Here’s my suggestion for an unusual drag race: I would like to see a drag race between an electric bicycle, electric scooter, normal bike and moped car. Or a drag race between a Citroen 2CV and a dog.
This was the most exciting drag race I've watched in a while. I went for a quick lesson on the Pel, got off and showered, made a drink, had my drink, then got back in time to see the end of the race.

I think even for a Diesel the gear changing at the MB is happening at a extremely low RPM, even because it was on power mode.
