I once filmed a meet and greet & speech with Laura Bush W’s Wife. The Secret Service made sure that EVERYTHING was covered. Bomb & gun sniffing dogs, making sure no window were open, snipers, so on and so forth. It was so comprehensive it was insane. Most interesting events I’d ever covered

I personally got to film the Motorcade during Biden's visit to Maui after the fires for Akaku, the local TV station. In order to transmit the video feed back to the studio, we use this LiveU system. Interestingly, as the Electronic Countermeasures Suburban passed me (I was the camera operator) and the anchor, the video feed cut off, and all I could hear in my headphones was this loud hissing sound that sounded like a popped tire. Sure enough, this was the Suburban doing its job.

They definitely also have shot location technology that pinpoints the exact location of a sniper instantaneously. I think they also have a pop-up remote controlled robotic gun that uses the best camera equipment

I noticed this video was suggesting my content, so I came to watch it. I love the 3D models and the smooth flow of the animation, as well as the different scenarios.
The detonator can be activated via wired connection though, and the already launched rocket is not going to change tragectory AFTER the smokes has been used.
this video is amazing but threat 3 was a major disappointment. i never really wondered if the beast could *avoid* a projectile like that, i was curious if it could *withstand* it. two different things.
Same for number one. What would happen if the explosion is triggered by a plain ol cell connection? I’m guessing the jamming vehicle wouldn’t be blocking cell traffic

This whole convoy seems so weird and over the top to a non-american. I'd love to see more hypotheticals as to how it could be beaten and what the response to attacks would be.

If the first bomb had been triggered via a fibre optic link that would have done it. The trick is to know the travel route in considerable advance and somehow not triggering any suspicion while setting it up or having the secret service catch it in a pre-travel sweep of the area.

I didn't get the rocket launcher part. How are you going to save the president ? How does the smoke grenade know that there is a person who will launch rocket ?
for scenario #3 i don't understand why we didn't run through the simulation of what if the attacker just decided to shoot anyway instead of being rendered blind and completely useless as soon as the smoke screen appeared. (because apparently he was aiming right at the vehicle still. and jumped out too fast for anyone to react.) It would have been nice to run through the sim and learn whether or not or how the vehicle would fair against an RPG round.

Neo, love the content. I just wanted to correct one simple thing. Air Force One is actually the call sign for whatever aerial vehicle the president is in at that time. If he is in the presidents helicopter, that’s airforce one as well.

Correction: Air Force One is not a specific aircraft. It's whatever aircraft that the president is currently in. The Boeing aircraft you mention is simply the most frequently used aircraft by the president, and the reason for that is because of all the customizations it has, but the Boeing aircraft itself is not Air Force One.

Great video! I wonder how an IR smoke screen would be able to save the presient from an unguided AT-weapon.
It wouldn't. Especially when it deploys after the shot and the smokes take 30-60 seconds to fully discharge. It's more just creating confusion while they make a fast getaway or if needed to help safely evacuate the vehicle and move to the backup if the main one is disabled.
The video is so good and wanna know the song goes bad after the unnoticed C4 tbh.
