Good review, but you can run this monitor at 1440p 120hz on the Xbox series X, and games like CoD already support 120hz, so I don’t think you’re stuck just using 60hz on the monitor with next gen consoles
Do you know if it can do this? I know Xbox supports vrr but I don’t know if the display needs hdmi 2.1
@@x-shift8937 hdmi 2.1 is for 4k 120hz, or 8k 60, this monitor has hdmi 2.0 and will support up to 1440p 165 hz on pc or 1080p/1440p supersampled to 120hz on ps5 or xbox series x

@@azure6674 no, you can go to your PS5 settings and change it to 1440p resolution. At 1440p 120hz should be no problem

There is a difference in curved or flat here dude the curved mobiuz EX2710R is a VA panel and the EX2710q ( the flat one) is a nano IPS panel. That's a big difference.

I've got an Xbox series x that I currently play on a 4k TV. I'm setting up a gaming room and want a monitor for around £300. Can anyone recommend one or is this one the one to get?
Yes benq are really good mid range price monitors. I've had many monitors but the benq mobiuz monitors are probably the best for the price, I have 2 of them. I had samsungs but they have bad ghosting on games whereas these do not and the colours in games are great on these. Either benq or check out LG ultragear monitors they are pretty good aswell.

A monitor needs to be 4K in resolution and at or above 120hz to have hdmi 2.1. This monitor is 1440p

No 2.1 hdmi? Damn. Good monitor except for that. No G sync either. 🤔 it’s decidedly high to mid tier I feel with these features missing. OLED CX 55, is still the best for ps5 / XB. Of course it’s twice as expensive as this so.. 🤷🏻♂️ this still might be a good upgrade for my pc though I’m on an old top range BenQ 27’ 1080p but times have moved past it.

Hdmi 2.1 is for 4k120hz. This monitor is 1440p120hz 🤔
I'm actually waiting for 42" OLED. In meantime I could be looking for something else.
@@browsing8866 my friend ( who is rich ) bought a 42 OLED at the same time as he got a 55 last Xmas. I got the 55 for my ps5. he uses the 42 for his gaming monitor says it’s amazing.

@Santa Clause funny thing, i ordered it, but for some reason it came with a standard kettle lead 3-pin plug that doesn't work with the supplied power brick. so i sent it back

Yes I used to play in 1440p 120hrz in my monitor and now for some reason on xbox update 🤔 they changed.. they now people where able to play in hdmi 2.0 in 1440p 120hrz and they decided to remove that opcion... why. ??? Wt.. 🙄🤔😒 if you don't have hdmi 2.1 u r stock with 1080p 120hrz..👊😒 f.. Microsoft ❓❓❗❗❗❗❌🚫👎
