      @@DigitalDavid so, after using it for a little bit, it’s safe to say that it’s an pretty good monitor. Speakers are definitely awesome, the higher refresh rate is great, the colors are decent, and the fake HDR is surprisingly good. It’s a really good monitor for my Xbox. I peeled off the orange things on the stand.

    Hi David, great video!
    Is it posible to set the ps5 with this monitor at 4k in order to downsample the image and show a 1440p image? Thanks so much!

    • @sai9692

      You can, but since it only has 2.0 HDMI the frame rate will be capped at 30 FPS

    I bought this cause I've heard nothing but good things about Ben Q. Now im kinda worried alot of people say the brightness isn't very good which is concerning for me. How well do you think it will be with the PS5 I know they released an update so you can now use 1440p.

    • @DaftFader
      @DaftFader ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This monitor needs a little setting up for some use cases.
      You probably didn't have HDR set up correctly. I had your issue really bad until I turned on HDR in windows and set the monitor to HDR too, I also had to play with the RGB range (0-256 etc.) on both windows and the monitor aswell.
      It also has an light detection feature BI+ , where if you are working in low light it dims the screen (and this is automatically on for many of the pre-sets), you need this turned off too if it's always too dim (or randomly changing as you are using it, like mine did at first ... I was so confused lol).
      If you are using this monitor for graphical work however, I would suggest not to, as to really get it dialled you do have to do some funky stuff, and it's never quite 100% colour accurate, but for gaming etc. just stick on HDR and it's very close to colour accurate with some minor tuning and can look really amazing.

      Where was your IPS glow on the monitor? Was it distorting the color? Our sample unit didn't have any... In regards to backlight bleed there is always some on every panel but usually it's so faint and never noticed!
