That looks good. Years ago I worked at a hospital and they used to have pea salad in the cafeteria for the employees --- very similar to yours, but they also had cut up cheese cubes in it too. Thanks for sharing your version of the pea salad.
Hi! To release the membrane on your eggs... take a spoon and gently tap the large end of the egg, when you here the snap, you just released the membrane! Just learned this and it works so well! Plus. I poke a tiny hole with a needle or pin in the top as well. Shell just falls off when you peel them!
I love pea salad! I used to watch Martha Stewart years ago and boil my eggs like she showed. You boil the eggs for 3 mins and take them off the burner and cover them with lid for 15 mins and they are just right. This helps during the holidays, while the eggs are sitting I can use the burner for something else.
So many different ways to boil eggs; I love reading everyone's experience; once my eggs start to boil, I time them exactly nine minutes, then remove, add ice, and wait five minutes; perfect for me every time.
Yes, I think I would steam them too. I used frozen peas for this before without streaming, and didn’t care for it as much. I’ll try that next time, if I use frozen peas.
You are exactly right.. Thank you so much for calling that to my attention..onion is one of the main ingredients…It is 1/2 cup or about 1/2 of a medium onion..really, it’s ever how much you want in yours..we love onion🌹
Frozen peas would work. I think I would steam them some to keep them from tasting so green..We have just always used the canned..Ic you try them, let me know how it is🌹
Love pra salad! I also put cheese and bacon too!
I love pea salad. I add a little shredded cheddar and crumbled bacon or ham cubes in sometimes.

I use frozen peas and cook them around 3 minutes in the microwave. You may want to cook them a little more.
I am going to use frozen next time. Sounds good❤️
Your written recipe doesn't have onion listed 😢😂
