Depends how many subs you want and amplifiers what kind of vehicle its going into? Also how many watts your doing depending on how much you want you might hafe to get an xtra battery or the big 3 upgrade also possibly an xtra alternator but usually if your running under 1200 watts you dont need all that. Also what size subwoofer and weather your get a fab box or custom box
@jackmckay6915 im try to do more the 1500watss and doing a extra battery, the 3 upgrade, and upgrade the alternator ,also running 2 amps one for the sub and the other for the speakers whit the processor, im trying now to pick a really good sub ,i hear the resilient sub are really but i still looking for more information
@@0oflakitoo0 i got 2 resilient sounds gold 12s on a sundown 3k amp with a custom kerf ported box with xtra batter alternator and the big 3 upgrade love the setup. Going to be getting new subs though either going with sundown or DC. Are you and sql sound guy or spl?
Every single video that comes up when I search, "Mobile Audio Subwoofers" is absolutely garbage. They all have the same bullshit and have no actual insight on the subs themselves
Most people who have any interest in mobile audio have no idea about the science that goes into it. It's actually really fucking interesting. So for most casual people who just have a simple system in there vehicle, these videos are fine. But for the people who actually know some shit, this is whack. We wanna know what combo of subs sounds the best. Also which amplifier is more efficient with a certain combination of subs. Some people want the best SQ they can get. Some just wanna bang as hard as they can and fuck how sloppy it sounds. Some want both. If these TH-cam channels wanna make a really good video, they should analyze every important aspect of the system and break that shit down. It'll take a long ass time and the video will be pretty long as well but, it will give the people the information they didn't know they needed.
I'm 37 years old. I've been into car audio since I was 5. My God-Father (We call them Parans down here in the swamp) would take me to sound comps every few months. He had a 1990 Mitsubishi Might Max single cab pick-up with a camper on the back. It wasn't like a normal camper though. The back window was removed and a rubber gasket sealed the cabin to the camper. He had four "15 JL W3'z ( at least I think they were). I helped him build the boxes for them. They were in the shape of an X against the tailgate area and we put mirrors I'm the voids of the X as well as neon lights and we mounted the amplifiers inside the voids. Shit was dope AF. Especially back in 1993.
