Pro tip: You also need to do Space Station farming. On another space station, the 3 components will create a different configuration of SuperCharged slots placement. So if you want to create a ship with connected SC slots with the 3 ship components you want, you need to go and find a space station that creates ships with good SC placement with those 3 components.
If you want a specific ship, but aren't happy with the placement of the supercharge slots, go to a different space station and try the same build again. The slots change based on both the parts you use and the station itself.
I hope they'll give us some form of 'garage' storage that allows us to store these ship parts and have it only store ship parts. That way we can ship part hunt without taking up regular storage/inventory slots. Also, it would look pretty cool to have a freighter room or base room themed to storing these parts.
@@Lif3OfAMV My intention was to have an additional storage container so it's not taking up existing storage. See the part with "without taking up regular storage/inventory slots". Big tip for finding crashed space ships super easy for free is to have a Minotaur Exocraft with the scanner upgrade as it can contantly scan for "Distress Signals" specifically for free which will always lead you to a crashed ship or a crashed freighter. Use it on a planet that doesn't spawn a lot of NPCs to prevent them from "taking" your ship (you fix it for them and then they leave).
The price of the reactor cores changes based on your faction standing with the race of the station. Run some station missions or hand in a bunch of race specific artifacts to increase your standing, and you'll see the price drop.
4:55 quick tip for crashed ships, instead of repearing them just add them to the collection and leave, once you have enough go to the anomaly and call them, ususally the game would say "ship critically damaged" but there not only it works but fixes engine and launch pads, once did that you go to a space station and call the ships you wanna scrap 1 by 1.
I'd like to give a heartfelt "fuck you" to whoever designed the tornado mechanics on planets with severe storms. I've been slowly hunting specific parts for the ship I want to build, and I only have one left to get. After waiting for hours and reloading at a planet's trading post, the ship I needed FINALLY appeared, but a severe storm hit at the same time. While I was sprinting to go get that ship, a tornado decided it would be funny to pick me up off of the walkway and carry me, then pitch me, several hundred meters away. Of course, the pilot took off before I could get back because the tornado forced me to exhaust my jetpack and stamina to survive the fall. Still haven't seen another ship with the part I want since then. I'm not the type of person to rage quit for any games I play, but this time, I just had to close the game and shutdown my PC. That shit had me absolutely *livid*
Hah I’m missing one part for the solar ship and I’d be pissed if that happened to me. I did have a bug tho that corrupted my save and I lost so many parts 🥲 (few hours of farming later I got it back) the Aquarius update sucked because of the bugs I have experienced.
Storage management is a nightmare, they keep adding things like this. These "blueprints" should not have been an item, they should have been an unlockable.
Small cheesy way to save some units if you wanna buy ships directly: Go hunting for Interceptors. Find a dissonant planet(not dead and exotic ones) -> Find a Harmonic Camp(usually via the Echo Locator) and place a beacon there -> Use the camp to find the interceptor and claim it -> Go back to the camp and repeat the process until you have lots of interceptors -> Exchange the ships with interceptors, it'll save you lots of units and might even get you free ones sometimes.
The primary factor that determines ship value is the number of inventory/upgrade slots it has, not the class. A c-class ship with 48 slots will cost way more than an s-class ship with 15 slots. This is why haulers are expensive because they usually have a lot of inventory slots.
Your channel is sooooo underrated. I’ve learned so much about NMS from you and this looks like a ton of fun! I’m on Switch, so I don’t have the update yet, but this is and will be very helpful. Thanks dude! 🚀🛸👽
Go to Outlaw systems. Ships have an 85% chance of being C class the cheapest ships you can find. Less slots less money. Same. I have 12 ships already, and only one of them is a base ship style - a Solar. All the rest are exotics, interceptors and living ships, and I don't really want to give any of them up. No, only the space station itself affects the creation, so if you don't like how the statistics and slots are turning out, try another station until you find one that suits you
There is thing you can do but only if you are Exalted with the Guilds. When you go to check what is available from the Guild Envoy, if you are Exalted, there is usually an augmentation or a a frigate module available. If you take the augmentation then go to your ship, get in and get out to set a restore point and reload. The Guild Envoy items will be reset. Rinse and Repeat.
Or find two or more stations that have what you want and keep teleporting back and forth. I was doing a round robin of starship cargo, multi-tool slot, freighter upgrade, and anomaly detector.
I’m trying to find the video where you explain what the best space station is to assemble your ship at for supercharged slots in stats. It definitely makes a difference which space station you go to is to your ships end stats

Can you get those parts in creative if yes how? I wanted to build a ship Just to try different combinations but even in creative you have to buy everysingle ship and take it apart
I've heard the same combo of parts will assemble with different stats & different slot configurations at different stations. I don't have the patience to test this out.
More window dressing...I'll wait til exotics, solars, and Interceptors get the option to customize...BUT...are there different starship drives with better specs to be purchased at the space stations?
I swapped a fabricated ship with a pilot, then recruited them to my squadron with the fabricated ship, but when I called the squadron the ship was a different ship also the name of my ship keeps changing no idea why.
NGL. Hadn't played since farming sentinel ships, realized I had a ridiculous amount of credits so I started buying up whatever ship came to the Station. Went to the next station, and repeated the process.
MAN, it's hard to find a Rasa/Radiant fuselage even in systems where I know they exist! Since I love Rasas, I may be tempted to see if the refiner glitch works on the ship parts just for the Rasa fuselage if I ever find one for sale again.
they should make it so that you can craft more ship parts, and it would be completely understandable and acceptable if they had either a high cost or could be made from raw resources directly in the station.
Not yet, only Fighters, Haulers, and Explorers. Though, from a lore standpoint...it kind of makes sense why we wouldn't be able to customize Sentinel ships seeing as they can refuse 'tech' for upgrades.
Just finished the cursed. Got my A class sentinel ship but the featured ship the round one disappeared once I closed out the expedition. Not that I really wanted it but I paid for it and it's gone. Does the system economy effect the stat roll?
Anyone know why some gull wings for the fighters are glitched. I have scraped 2-3 fighters for the gull wings and I don’t have any gull wing components in my inventory.
just finally got Let's Fighting Love, my box nose shield wing globall (Titan A-Wing Bulker Cockpit) hauler. those balls _are_ protected.
Anyone know when xbox getting the update
probs in about a week or smth
I would say this coming week sometime
MICROSOFT said early next week
@@0spreiiwhere?
Update dropped for Xbox overnight. Sadly it hasn't fixed the issue with me not being able to claim any previous expedition rewards on ANY of my saves (previous or new). I lodged a bug on the zendesk support but have no idea when it gets looked at or how long it takes to resolve.
Since day 1 iv always keep one space free for a ship to destroy or just try out a new ship and it’s always been a good choice lol
Can you get those parts in creative if yes how? I wanted to build a ship Just to try different combinations but even in creative you have to buy everysingle ship and take it apart
any one know were i can get Shielded Wing (Tristar) please i have been hunting work weeks
I don't understand why it only gives you one part when you scrap it.
Same. This is something I've wanted since release and now they give it to us and I'm going to have to find a mod for it or something.
I've heard the same combo of parts will assemble with different stats & different slot configurations at different stations. I don't have the patience to test this out.
Is there a quest to get the cape you have on
More window dressing...I'll wait til exotics, solars, and Interceptors get the option to customize...BUT...are there different starship drives with better specs to be purchased at the space stations?
I swapped a fabricated ship with a pilot, then recruited them to my squadron with the fabricated ship, but when I called the squadron the ship was a different ship also the name of my ship keeps changing no idea why.
can you put diffrant parts from diffrant ships or does it have to be the same ie fighter to fighter etc .
NGL. Hadn't played since farming sentinel ships, realized I had a ridiculous amount of credits so I started buying up whatever ship came to the Station. Went to the next station, and repeated the process.
6:23 We know they have a shuttle option in progress though. In the update trailer there were four options, not three.
MAN, it's hard to find a Rasa/Radiant fuselage even in systems where I know they exist! Since I love Rasas, I may be tempted to see if the refiner glitch works on the ship parts just for the Rasa fuselage if I ever find one for sale again.
Is there a way to change the color of a ship you own ? Or can i only choose the color if i build it?
they should make it so that you can craft more ship parts, and it would be completely understandable and acceptable if they had either a high cost or could be made from raw resources directly in the station.
"You can only have 12 ships." Son, back in my day you could only have 6 ships lol
Do wings still affect cargo space?
How to do the helios quest ??????
What up Jason. Just to add to your first tip,, you can also get parts from your friends or other players.
Where did you get the Omega Fuselage? Are there ships with that part in the wild or is it the pre-order one?
So, is there nothing on sentinal ships yet?
Not yet, only Fighters, Haulers, and Explorers. Though, from a lore standpoint...it kind of makes sense why we wouldn't be able to customize Sentinel ships seeing as they can refuse 'tech' for upgrades.
Is the xbox update Live now?
not yet.
I’ve scrapped 4 ships, and none of it shows in my inventory… I really just want to change the colors of the ships I have.
One question: it’s possible to scrap for parts or modify the sentinel class ships ?
Im trying to see if i can glitch on more than 1 wings
Finally. Detailed video. Dont worry about talking to much. Finally i understand xD
Has anyone found the station that gives you the best base stats for explorers?
Just finished the cursed. Got my A class sentinel ship but the featured ship the round one disappeared once I closed out the expedition. Not that I really wanted it but I paid for it and it's gone. Anyone know where it is? Anyway, shipbuilding seems a chore rather than fun or even a hobby, Will start collecting parts from crashed ships and see. Never really looked into it but my inventory is full and it might cause trouble. Trying to figure out how to get the addendum trophies like permadeath to the center of the galaxy and no interested in explaining that. At least I knowhow to fix my toilets now. Less than a month left. This is the year. Judgment is already coming down but you do not wanna hang around for the wrath. Peace.
So are we able to scrap Living Vessels, to make a custom one?
No it's only fighters, explorers, and haulers
in 2 of us we spent 1.6 bilions in ships xD I hope one day the scanner will tell us what part a ship is made of so i don't have to keep buying ships that have very similar wings
Welp, DAYS spent searching for ships i liked, in colors i wanted to get an S class seems to be obsolete. But i think im full for ships anyway.
