      Eventually yes but not right away. I'm gonna focus on other things first

      You can buy a kit from hooker . Ls will slide right in place of lt1

      Hi Bryan I paid $600 for the car initially, sold the v6 for 400, sold the t5 5speed for another 400. Paid $250 for the kmember used, paid 120 for the engine mounts. I had an old work truck with a broken frame that I used for a donor for the engine, wiring harness, ecm, bcm, and I even took the ignition switch and wiring so that I didn't have to mess with VATS

    Did you keep the oil pan from the truck?

      Yes for now but I'll be swapping it out with a Moroso Oilpan or equivalent race oriented oilpan in The very near future.

      @@gearheadnation9254 I have a fresh 5.3 going into my firebird and wasn’t sure if it would clear with that oil pan. Thank you

      It may not if you have a stock k member. It's pretty tight with my tubular k member. And the bottom of the pan doesn't have a lot of ground clearance. It will serve it's purpose temporarily but it's not something I'd run long term.
