Hi Bryan I paid $600 for the car initially, sold the v6 for 400, sold the t5 5speed for another 400. Paid $250 for the kmember used, paid 120 for the engine mounts. I had an old work truck with a broken frame that I used for a donor for the engine, wiring harness, ecm, bcm, and I even took the ignition switch and wiring so that I didn't have to mess with VATS
It may not if you have a stock k member. It's pretty tight with my tubular k member. And the bottom of the pan doesn't have a lot of ground clearance. It will serve it's purpose temporarily but it's not something I'd run long term.
are you going to change out the intake manifold? Good progress.
Eventually yes but not right away. I'm gonna focus on other things first
Gonna do this to my 2001 t top camaro I cannot wait!
Terrific video!!
liked and subbed
Awesome!! Thanks man!
Did you cut the cross member?
You can buy a kit from hooker . Ls will slide right in place of lt1

Did you keep the oil pan from the truck?
Yes for now but I'll be swapping it out with a Moroso Oilpan or equivalent race oriented oilpan in The very near future.
@@gearheadnation9254 I have a fresh 5.3 going into my firebird and wasn’t sure if it would clear with that oil pan. Thank you

@@gearheadnation9254 only long enough to make sure all the wiring is right and it’s coming back out.
