This video applies to Ford F-150 models for years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. This video also includes dash trim and stereo removal, radio wiring, and installation.

Hey, I see my truck install in this video! @1:49. Still sounds amazing!
How do I add a lc2i to this setup?
If you have Sony / B&O, connect to the sub output from factory amp. If base audio and just adding a sub, just tap it into any speaker wiring. You can access from rear B pillars for rear speakers, or behind the radio for any speaker wiring.
@@ProvoBeastAudio I bought subs and an amp too can I still just tap into the output of the B&O amp?
Another amazing video!!!! thanks for sharing
have a question, if I have B&O basic system (F150 2022) improving the bass I have kicker amp and sub, do I will need a LC2i pro??
Nope, but I do recommend a higher power input handling LOC since you have the factory amplifier. A more budget LOC would be this guy: amzn.to/49CJdex
@@ProvoBeastAudio Oh no, I read late your answer, I was working today doing the wiring for my truck ( which the power and ground wires are to short, I have to found an adapter and buy more wires) I installed the LC2i pro already, I hwas watching a video front your channel, will be any different if I continue using the LOC?
🤔. From research I've done on my 2015 F150. They're should be a factory installed...Hot Power wire in the rear behind the seat area I believe it's tucked under carpet or back wall ... Thought I'd share 😊
not low enough gauge for a decent sub
@@TheDrakeArnoldif it has it you can just tap into the speaker inputs.
I have a 2020 ford f150 with the base stereo no Sony or b&o. The t harness you connected is just plug and play? Do I have to use the remote wire on it? I have the same sub you are installing in this video but I am running the remote wire to fuse 23 on the passenger side. My amp is powered but I get no bass from it right now I have a cheaper t harness from Amazon that was $25 it broke the first day because one of the pods fell off smh. I was hoping the t harness you listed is more legit and better quality.
yeah, just plug and play. No remote wire is needed as that rockford fosgate powered usb can turn on for you per the settings on the amp itself. That T harness is untested, but is a simple solution to the install. Alternatively, you can snag signal from the b pillar rear speaker if that works better. Good luck to ya.
@@ProvoBeastAudio thank you. I received the plug and play harness attached on the link. I noticed the line out put converter is attached to the rear speaker wires on the harness. Wouldn’t it be better for it to be attached to the front speaker wires?
@@ProvoBeastAudio sorry disregard I noticed it’s the front wires after all. Do you make this harness or someone else does? It’s a nice quality harness
@provobeast I installed this in my Camry last week. Can you explain how to connect this amp to a 4 channel amp to run my after market door speakers…
The truck that is being worked on is an 18 to 20 F150. This is not a 16 model.
Is it just me or does that look like a 2018-2020F150? The grill doesn't match the 2016 model (I own a 2018 f150 XLT with white and chrome and the exact same grill).
Does it matter?
9:53 Thank you for this video! I’m curious before I buy this setup. I have this basic same system in my 2020 F150. Question is do I just take the old sub out and use those end of the wires to connect to this on hi level input? Do I still need the converter/amp in play for that connection or can I use wires from the other side of the converter/amp? This would be the stock wires and subwoofer kit.
Hey what's a great aftermarket radio to install in 2019 f150
Thank you for you this informative video. 👍 I'm curious about the 9:30 mark.
Am I able to connect this subwoofer to the factory subwoofer for both power and audio signal? Or do I still need to run power up to the battery?
My thought is to easily be able to take the bigger subwoofer out if I need the space and temporarily use the factory.
Nice🎉❤
That spot did not work for me same truck
Is there a video of installing an lc2i in a 2016 ?
How’s tge sound output on these Rockford fosgate combos?
For the size and price per watt with what you get, it's certainly impressive, over any other powered sub in it's class.
This adapter saved me but what do I connect the remote wire too haven’t got the adapter yet but supposed to be here next week can’t wait to hopefully get my speakers set up
This has an auto turn-on feature built into the powered subwoofer. The amp has a switch for remote - switch it to audio, and it turns on for you. No need for a separate remote wire.
@@ProvoBeastAudio so hook it up and it will be good
How would you hook up a LCQ1
Thats a bit more involved. Send me a message on facebook or instagram and I can point you in the right direction
I have this exact setup, but have always felt it wasn't tuned properly. I feel that your note on how you set the gains and x-over I'm going to try that and see if it sounds better. Awesome!!!!
