Same unit is sold by several different vendors, but they all have the same software and features.
They spoof the OS version claiming it as Android 11, it's really and Android 10 (API 29).
Some vendors claim it has a 2k display. It doesn't. It's 1920x1200.
I've had this unit installed in my 2019 Lariat since Feb 2023. Lots of tweaks and a few headaches, but being able to keep all of the factory functions, including SYNC are why I like it.
Wireless CarPlay can be a pain. Make sure you only pair bluetooth to this unit and not the factory SYNC unit. Can cause startup conflicts if paired to both.
Anyone thinking about rooting it can forget it. They have removed ADB (including wireless ADB) from the OS and there are no physical buttons to navigate recovery or bootloader. USB protocols have also been stripped down to prevent data exchanges from a PC connection.

Anybody know what to do if the audio just stops working alongside of your volume control?
@@zachvaughn298 im having the same issue with my truck currently, i have read up on it and all i can find is that you either replace ur ACM or send it out to get repaired. Im not sure if this screen will resolve that issue.
Love taking a moment to encourage folks they can do it. I work in a technical field and a lot of times it looks like a lot but its actually very simple.

I think your video was fantastic. I’ve done work like this in the past without good direction and came out on top. For some reason I can see my audio settings respond, but I can’t get the volume to turn up. Has anyone else had this issue?Ford F150, 2017 here

@ unfortunately it’s out of stock. But the buttons on top which are the hill descend and emergency flashers that are on stock, where is it on this one. Also does it have Sirius Xm?

So far. so good! Haven't had any real issues yet. I did notice it started (sometimes) not connecting to my phone right away, but that's just an occasional non major issue
What happened to the traction control button and auto stop and start button

That dash/trim package looks identical to my 2018 Expedition. Is the installation exactly the same?
I would imagine so. The platform for the ford vehicles from 2018-2020 I believe is the same for all F-150s and expeditions I believe. Could be wrong

I have the 360 camera at the top of my original console. Where are those buttons? Just wanting to find out if i would lose features that come stocked on my Platinum f150.
@@Did_U_C_That I am not sure. I have never driven a Plat trim level before, but I would imagine the cameras automatically engaged when you go into reverse. I could be wrong, just my thought process.
I have this on my 2015 platinum, and the 360 button is on the top.

They are in the same general place! I showed this in an update video. They REMAIN on the top of the head unit

Do these units retain AM/FM stations? I have an installer working on it and Nothing shows Radio access. We are also getting no sound. 2018 F150 XLT

You use the same backup camera connection as stock, so it’s crystal clear but on a much larger screen! Haha

Mine is just an XLT so I am not sure if it will support those functions. I will say I did not lose any of my factory functions, so it’s safe to say you would retain those

Will this work in a Raptor with B&O stereo?
I would think it would. The Raptor uses the same platform as the F150. Their interiors are identical to me haha maybe some extra carbon fiber here and there but it’s mostly the same.

That is a good question. I have not tried that yet, but I will!!

I have the Linkswell. The only thing I hate about it is when you get out of the truck and get back in 10 minutes late, it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to boot up. How fast is this unit?
Man I’ll be honest, it’s brand new and all, but it boots up instantly. Maybe after time or could slow down, but the response time on this is fast

Yea it does. The factory sync module is installed on the new screen which enables you to keep all the factory wheels buttons and their uses

Here's the kicker, and not to poop on it, I have one too. What you LOSE is your audio. Because it is not a head unit, but a tablet, you lose the features that give you fronts/backs control, tweeter control, all those things that are controlled by a true head unit. Until these things do THAT, music and sound will never compare.

I have a 2019 platinum f250...is it compatible with tte 360 camera system and different camera angles that the teuck offers from factory? If it retains every function from factory ,then i might consider it
For some reason, my audio stopped working altogether. I can see the round dialogue that should turn up but it is not responding whatsoever. Everything else works fine. Is this a possible setting?

Dude said he making a follow up video but never did because this touch screen is a POS. I got this exact one from AutoTech, pure junk. So many problems I don't know where to begin. I would say most if not of these China after markets screens are POS. Just too many issues and the cost is just a scam. I'm just pissed off with this POS.

terrible video for an install, he didn't swat any of the buttons or the sync system. also he didn't show any of the connections..... just plug it in where it fits. actually needed help with my install. not going to use this guy for anything
