Rakesh, today we had a get together. I tried this recipe instead of kesari. Everyone enjoyed it .. especially my 2 year old twin girls .. and mother suggested to give this item atleast few times a month to my girl childern since it's very good for them.. and thanks a lot for sharing.. I tried it out the same day sir. Came out well. Tasted more like ulundhu Kali made with ghee. The cooking took around an hour after the maavu and jaggery water were ready. Also, it consumed lot of ghee.

Your making it in a different way ....v first saute the addikul mavu first with ghee and den jaggery with water boil and den add the boiling jaggery water to the sauted mavu ....these both r poituvara solra palakaram .
