Wonderful recipe, one addition I would definitely recommend is a tiny pinch of salt that cuts through the sweetness of sugar! In fact with salt you can reduce the sugar by half cup
I am a very big fan of you. After seeing this milk sweet I remember my mom doing this sweet. Now I have a sweet can I share it with you. Hear you go. Take three portion of nut it can be badam pistachio and cashew or more badam less of the others or the other way to this the sugar proportion is two cups and one and half cup ghee. 3:2:11/2 you have to powder the nuts seperately into powder and mix it well. Now put sugar in a heavy bottom pan add water just to sugar to sink bring the sugar syrup to a sticky position than add the nuts mixture keep stirring the mixture will begin to thicken at this stage add the ghee 11/2 cup and keep stirring until it leaves the pan and form dough and frothy grease a plate and pour the mixture let set then when it is still warm make pieces of you desire shape. It will happen very easily for there is no moisture in and will taste very good pls try and give me feed back.
Today I tried this, when I took a particular cup for measure and mixed and switch on the gas, then I felt it's going to be a waste if kids don't like it, but, when the recipe towards it's end had a special smell and kids were waiting, and to be honest, they finished it,not even kept a portion for my husband, I just made it and it's finished, thank you for easy recipe, which is useful especially in lockdown please convey my regards to Amma and please tell her that whenever she says mayavaram it's beautiful to hear and through her only I came to know (though checked in google) that mailaduturai got such a name, really beautiful name, thank you for this particular recipe
