Rakeshji, today being sashti and vishaka nakshatra, both dear to Lord Subramanya, I made thirupagam and offered it as neivadhya...it came out so well and was super tasty...thanks so much for this recipe....looking forward to more such regional specialities
Hi, I got it perfectly and it was heavenly 😃🙏🥰 I shall send you a pic of the same. Thanks for sharing this traditional recipe, I wasn't aware as I hail from Kumbakonam. Never heard of this before, the entire family liked it. It is rich, and I used almond powder as I didn't have cashew powder at home today. Just made this morning 😃
Made it but instead of milk used reduced milk which looked like it would turn to paneer, blended kadalai mavuvwith the reduced milk, great taste and texture

Hi Rakesh, thanks for this recipe... Have a query though... The cashew powder is raw cashew grinded or should we dry roast that as well and then grind?
You can roast it slightly I guess. While grinding it to powder, it should not have any moisture content. And ensure not to let the oil ooze out, while grinding cashews. Let the man himself comment what's the perfect way to do it 😊
Thank you bro and wish you all happy deepawali நீங்க சொல்லும்போது எனக்கு இப்பவே சாப்பிட ஆசை வருது
