Only just been diagnosed with type one. The doctor put my first libre 2 on but thank goodness I found your channel. You have given me more information about it and have reduced my anxiety about changing it for the first time. Thank you so much ❤
Good morning Tom, I’m 69 and a diabetic for 8 years. My highest A-1 C was 9.1. Took me four months to get to 5.6 with your help. I do it without prescription medication. I treat myself once a week with a small treat. Thank you for all your help.

Hi Tom, I am a 53 year old type one since the age of nine. Since watching your videos and following most of your advice especially the videos on super foods and actually all your videos on what foods to eat and the effects on your blood sugar levels, I am currently on day 8 of my glucose levels being at 100 percent in range. My 7 day average is at an incredible 5.8 or 104. I am using Dexcom G6 and a tandem t slim x2 pump. Keep up the good work and your helpful videos. Much appreciated.

Hi Tom. Nancy from Chicago with Type 1 for 51 years. I use multiple injections, Lantus and Humalog. I have CGM Libre 3, which is really annoying. Alarms go off for no reason.
Yes my name is John kavanagh and I'm a diabetic type 2, and because of your excellent experience I've been able to get my A1C down to now 5.1 and my sugar fasting glucose 111, awesome videos about eating and your own experience is what's done the trick, because I kept a close eye on what you were saying I was able to incorporate many of these things and hacks into my lifestyle, I STILL JUST PRICK MY FINGER, awesome broadcast "TOM. I'm in the panhandle of Idaho on the Montana Canadian border,
If you can continue to do as well with finger pricks you have good self-management practices. When you get older you may find that things other than diabetes increasingly affect your control. If you see that happening, consider adopting the newest proven tech that you can afford to make management easier.
Hi there Tom! Im from Canada. I'm T 1.5. I have turned on my notifications now lol. I appreciate your explanation on ur 1st point re basal insulin. I'm MDI and I'm going to watch the trend while sleeping. Pretty sure it's a slow trend downwards so I may plan to reduce basal by a unit or 2. We'll see how it goes thanks for your service ❤❤
When I started eating whole food plant based I significantly reduced both bazal and bolus (carb to insulin ration went from 1:10 to 1:15 in my case if I remember correctly). Hope this helps!
Hi Tom, I may have missed it in one of your earlier posts, but where can I buy the display on your shelf showing your BSL? Phil from Melbourne Australia
It could just be there might be clouds outside in the internet kind of is a little shaky but it just kind of makes your voice kind of a little cut out at first when the video started but as you improved by scooting forward a little bit it pretty much I haven't missed a word of what you had to say Tom.
Hi Tom. I'm 25 and have lived with T1DM since I was 11, so almost 14 years now. Since 2022 I took my A1C from 7.6 to 6.0 and lost 14 kg, bringing myself well into a healthy weight range. I feel better and more confident every day because I took charge of my diabetes. I suppose your channel played some part in that. :)
I'm so happy I have my scale that can tell me how many carbs for an orange. So simple but you are right I used to underestimate my carbs until I got my beloved scale
I was really interested in learning about the word basal means..longacting insulin..and how to judge if you’re taking the right amount..unfortunately the audio Tom was fading in and out and I couldn’t follow the conversation…
I apologize for poor internet connection and bad sound.

They recently switched my insulin from a name brand to a generic brand. I am not having good luck with it.
Are you in Canada? They did that here. Gov't won't pay for the brand name now it has to be a bio similar and I'm having the same thing
Tom, terrible sound quality compared to your usual videos for some reason. What have you done differently to record this?
Hi Tom, West Virginia, U.S. I am 70yo and have been Type 2 for 43 years. I am on insulin, using Lantus Solostar pens and pills.
