Hey Tom - Mike from Idaho, type 2, your videos have been a game changer for me. A1c from 7.7 to 5.8 and off metformin for 2 months. Mostly diet changes and getting a GCM. Thanks for your help, you rock!
Hi, 1 year anniversary of T 1.5 diagnosis. Missed the live feed but watching in Scotland. I find your videos to be really useful. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Tom Im in Australia and I really appreciate your explanations and tips and there are a few Ill be putting into action once I decide where to begin. Im a t1 and 65y. Apparently Ive been a t1 since I was in single digits but only diagnosed about 10yrs ago during a hospital stay. So 50yrs of no treatment and just doing what I do. Its hard to change. Ive always been a fit and active person and Ive struggled to deal with the changes demanded by diabeties and the knowledge has been hard to come to terms with. Admittedly I am/was no longer as active when diagnosed perhaps thats what caused the crash. The people in my 'team' are all about the math. It dosent matter what question I ask - out comes the pen paper and calculator. What you explain here is clearly from experience and is much more than just numbers. Thank you again, Ill be hanging around a while. Cheers and happy day 😊
Hello Tom, I’m a T1D and I live near San Antonio, Texas. I’m on a MiniMed 780G with the Guardian4…I’m looking forward to the new Medtronic Simplara CGM. I follow you and your podcast on TH-cam, thank you!
I am a diabetic type 2 and I do have non-diabetic numbers ever since I got out of rehab, and I'm well controlled with my eating habits, the only question I would ask is do you know anything about neuropathy and do you have a video about it.
With the t-Slim X2 have you ever tried setting the sleep schedule for 24 hours? You loose the auto correct but get better control with the range being 12.5 to 120. Can set the CGM alert to allow you the to do a manual bolus correction.
Fern from nj in USA. Hubs is type1, dexcom g7,user Has freq lows and is asymptomatic. What is best "" to bring up glucose? Tabs , apple juice? And should it always be followed by a protein? Many thanks!

Hi Tom had diabetes for 39 years on the omnipod 5 and dexcom G6 which i love from the uk
Yes it will put on weight, if your glucose levels and insulin intake is compensating for good diabetic management.
You take all the time you need, I'm not going anywhere.

When I see BG is 70s I turn off basal for thirty minutes. That usually brings it up pretty quickly.
