hats off to this episode. I think the reason it's one of the most popular is the level of dedication. Babish could have easily made this stew over his stove at home. but naw, he bought a whole Arthur cosplay, a dutch oven, built a whole fire, cut up the backside of a deer, and even used a hunting knife to cut everything and period appropriate utensils. the level of dedication Babish usually has is amazing but this episode alone is ridiculously awesome

Never have I seen a recipe that I've wanted to try making more than this
Even if you don't have the right ingredients, this is a great recipe to work with. Switch out the meats for beef & chicken and add the mushrooms that are missing; would be fantastic
