Thanks for the sub! see if its a job portfolio you should keep it clean here your presentation matters not the amount of details you have in there highlight your rendering skills your presentation skills then the knowledge about planning and details, believe me this works.

You have to customize it and put in in your portfolio 2-3 pages should cover the entire thesis so just keep your design in it and a brief explanation for everything

If we send portfolio by email which point we including --school or college lc, design sheet, admit card, cover letter
Should we add more photos of ourselves towards the end of the folio, for eg. Doing extra curricular activities that we'd mention in our CV? Or only one photo in the front with the CV?

you can put few of the images but dont over do it and front of the cv should look like a professional image

Just one question, should the order of works in our portfolio be
1. From First Year to Fourth Year (applying for internship) or
2. Progressive work in terms of presentation or
3. Any other order of sequencing?
Best of ur best projects should be going first into ur portfolio. First impression is best impression works here too. Employers probably won't have so much of patience to see ur evolution. They would want to see if u can help them in work.
Dont add your academic projects which comes with simple design brief in initial years, try to add your final year and your most loved and presentable project and try to show case your out of box design skills like any competitions, workshops etc.
I have a school I’m applying to for masters asking for 20 pages minimum
And what’s worse all my undergraduate works are all hand drawn

A3 is the best for soft copy and A4 is good for. Hard copy as it's easier to flip through pages

4-5 projects don't make it above 25 pages, 20 pages is a good amount keep it concise show your software skills..

Sorry for the confusion but honestly portfolio can be made in any basic software, the important part is how to include and how to compose.

If you need high payment just go for MNC company.

20 pages and 10-50 mb max very few uni allow portfolio to be more than 50mb .
