Our Architecture Portfolio plays the most crucial part of securing jobs and getting admissions into universities. So it is absolutely necessary to get it right. Unfortunately, I have found that we all tend to commit many small and major mistakes while making our portfolios. In this video, I have mentioned only a few. So, use this video as a guide to making yourself aware of these faults so that you can avoid them when you plan on making your next portfolio.

I liked your video... It was very helpful... But the camera being constantly on the notebook becames boring after a while... Especially when there isn't a lot written on the pages... And the hand gestures are very distracting too.... They are not subtle enough to keep us engaged and felt too dramatic and over acted. It felt like you were acting out every word you said through your hands.
I hope i didn't offend you...i do like and appreciate the content..but the quality of the videos is equally important. So was just trying to point out certain things that can make the videos more engaging.
Thank you Vaishnav for the detailed comment. Yes, you are right...I do try to act out my words via my hands as I feel I need to compensate for the lack of text on my notebook. I am trying to figure out ways to make it more crisp and engaging. Initially I was making videos with no text/video animation/overlay.

Then I switched to a pure collection of different videos.
Eg: Truth about Supreme Court's decision on Architect Act - th-cam.com/video/1QQaoSITwyY/w-d-xo.html
Presently I am trying the mix of two.

Next time I would try to keep my hands movement to a minimum and see if I can insert more videos to make it more engaging.

The explanations are interesting but you should've taken better portfolios to critique on. The portfolios you reviewed and showed as examples are very childish and not professional
