I really think your HOSASAM with middle stick between legs is the best setup for Star Citizen, if only for the fact that it allow you to have a big mousepad, essential for good fps gameplay.

I think you'd just add a huge fresnel lens in front of the main screen and you have a big image projected further away... It will gives you a different eye focus and drastically helps the immersion
@@AfterimageFlight i think that if you don't try you really don't understand what is the effect. It gives you 2 different focal planes. The lens plan is at infinite focus as you see through a glass outside a window. And the image become bigger and also perceived bigger from your brain. Plus you'll have a great parallax effect that is a bonus for flight and space Sims. Buy a small cheap fresnel lens and judge by yourself with a video on your phone, then buy a huge one and enjoy. I'm working on this in my home cockpit. I'll show you when it's ready.

Amazing craftsmanship! Well done! While you have an existing "big target" trackball, consider swapping the mouse for a more ergonomic trackball! Once you get used to them, they're pretty fantastic - saves some nerve pinching too (as I can imagine sitting in this thing for hours at a time).
