Before you go for a Galv bulkhead take a look at Maer in Poland, they are selling a stainless steel bulkhead for less than a galvanised one, their chassis have a great reputation as well. 👍
Deadth woble is usualy asociated with position of the wheels. Drop arm you fit Disco 1 with ball joint on the rod not on arm. Hope that we will see more of you guys. Cheers. 🍻
Great round up on the project Liam! Keeping a pretty standard look is definitely the 'in' thing these days, changing the seats for Exmoor ones would certainly fit that aesthetic. Paint wise, you'll end up repainting the whole vehicle I'd reckon since you'll be replacing the bulkhead and doors, however if you stay with the same colour, it would save having to paint the inside of the vehicle keeping costs down - Using black Raptor bed liner paint in the engine bay side of the bulkhead, in the footwells and tub would smarten those up, help keep noise down, very durable and a quick, DIY method to also help keep down cost!
I agree that I'll almost certainly have to repaint, but I think I would keep the colour. Raptor paint is not something I'd thought of at the time of filming but definitely something I'd like to make use of. Thanks!
Hi Liam , another brilliant & informative update , I've now fully gas flowed my 1955 S1 ioe & it returns 24+mpg , I only mention this because of the white S1 in the back ground ! Any future plans ? Fairey overdrive next ! Your Defender is going to be AWESOME ! Keep the vids coming , Merry Xmas to ya'll Garie.
Thanks Garie! The Series 1 isn't owned by us, but I'm sure the owner will let us have a go (same owner as the black Range Rover next to it which we have previously featured). The S1 is one of the few Land Rover models we haven't experienced so we'd love to get it out, but probably best saved for the summer.
My EGR valve is blanked off on my Golf but I haven’t got the system to ignore that yet so I have driven around with the engine management light on for about five years . I didn’t notice any change in the running of the vehicle .
Assume it is the Optimill screen wash jets - they are fantastic. I also went for their window hinges, security hinges and detachable steering wheel boss (here in UK the security is needed) but did not bother with the fancy wing mirror arms (I break too many off road) With your extended wheel well arches, I get they stop gloopy mud but my issue is when wading, muddy water gets in everywhere leaving a coating of mud as it dries, requiring tricky cleaning, especially in around the back of arches - do they seal enough to stop this happening?
I think it is Optimill yes, I'd love to get some more of their products for the rebuild. I'm not sure to be honest, I don't think you can ever make it 100% secure but we'll find out when we tear it down for the rebuild what the "damage" is 😄
Good point! It's not as much of a concern here in Denmark, Defenders are't targeted like they are in the UK fortunately, but definitely worth thinking about when going through a rebuild.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro vehicle lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!

galvanized chassis, galvanized bulkhead, galvanized doors, galvanized side frame, and whatever else you can get galvanized.
i have subscribed and i have another question how much power does your td5 have ?
I recommend the exmoor trim elite sports seats. The removeable base is really handy
Thanks for the tip!
Scheelman?
those are very comfortable seats

you need to look at security buddy too.

Wow, you have done quite a bit to your 90. I assume you will be changing the suspension bushes and A Frame?
Yes for sure!
Mate can you please tell me the brand of the headlights you have in the truck currently I do like them
These were from Tuff-Rok, who are no longer in business. I would recommend these though: ore4x4.co.uk/shop/ltprtz/headlights/defender-led-headlights/
who was the manufacture on the windscreen jet?
Optimill - www.optimill-uk.com/washer-jet-systems-td5-tdci.html
have a look at the fox 2.0 shocks
Will do, thanks!
Can back the OME steering damper it’s brilliant, would highly recommend Koni shocks though they are one of the best things I got for my 200tdi
Hi guys. Is it any chance to contact with You?
Hi, you can send us a message on Instagram or Facebook.
Who farted at 26:48
😅
Really not a fan of the blingy tacky looking LEDs. Take a look at Holley Retrobrights, can get LED but with the old classic sealed beam look.
Thanks, I'll check them out

You should state affiliations BEFORE you do their advertising. It's called failing to declair vested interests, it doesn't do you any good.
get a grip son 🙄
if you end up repainting it raptor coat it is easy to touch up later if you get scratches
Daddy's .MONEY
