They are just spitting back different food items. The lyrics tell about a person going to a restaurant, calls the waiter, looks at the menu, tells the waiter what he wants and the waiter keeps telling him it is not available. He reads out the menu items and all of them are unavailable. Finally he just screamed out his frustration. it is so funny.

I've enjoyed the rock style of fun 'antics' of Parokya ni Edgar as it relates to ordinary fun-loving guys in a restaurant atmosphere who just combine everyday things in a fun way. Guys, it's really more fun in the Philippines! You just have to get in into the fun vibes in the moment.

you're spot on that the 'stage' is a 'freakin' vibe' as it's supposed to look like the typical Filipino streets in which a group of friends, families, or friends and families gather to have drinks and sing together in front of mini convenience stores (not 7-11) with either a karaoke machine/karaoke on the tv, or an acoustic guitar or a ukulele.

kamikazee is actually another legendary rock band in the Philippines, and they were friends with parokya ni edgar..and that guy "bruno mars" is actually the vocalist of kamikazee, his name is Jay Contreras. 2 bands in 1 song.
As for me.. when I say Filipino metal..the first artist that comes to mind is Wolfgang. Halik ni Hudas would be the best song to introduce them.

Kamikazee is not heavy metal. But yeah, Wolfgang is a staple.. heavy metal, hard rock, and some of their "lighter" songs has nice grunge influences too.

Kamikazee's "Eschoos Me" and "Tsinelas") while Chito Miranda (Parokya ni Edgar frontman) usually screamed in PNE's few early nu-metal-influenced songs (i.e. PNE's "Cobrabird").
In this track, they experimentally executed System of A Down's nu metal sound.
In technicality, PNE is not really a metal band, but an experimental rock band that fearlessly plays different styles - heavy, light, groovy, parodies, etc.
But if you're looking for Filipino metal or associated with that, I suggest to try their real-life friends Greyhoundz (i.e. "Pigface"), Queso ("Mottaka") and Wilabaliw ("Illuminate I" or "Fahira").

Parokya ni Edgar is really more of a novelty band that creates fun/funny songs. Kamikazee is more rock than them, but still sings fun stuff as well. This song, as you found out, is all about silliness. Parokya members aren't strong singers but like the E-heads, they have sealed their place at the top.

Parokya ni Edgar regularly makes parodies of popular songs. The lyrics is about him ordering food in a restaurant,m because, you know, "chopsuey".
Parokya ni Edgar started as a high school band (Edgar, according to legend, was their homeroom teacher?) and they'd do covers but replaced the lyrics with their own funny stories. They got popular this way which is why they have a lot of songs in this style (ie. Picha Pie (Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive), The Ordertaker (System of a Down's Chop Suey), Trip (Radiohead's Creep), and even classic Filipino songs like Yano's Banal Na Aso). They have a plethora of originals, but these samples are always so much fun.
