All the money raised by Playing for Change videos fund music schools for children all around the world. There are many many videos and they are all beautiful.
Respect to Trybals community ❤
They understood the pain of these men singing better than many that were physically there during those performances❤ Very impressed by the reaction😊
you're doing a true cultural service
@@KB24FOREVER8 thank you so much for your kind words 🤗❤️🌹
I love watching your videos. These gentlemen are wonderful with their reactions. I can't wait to see more. ❤🎉
These people have so much compassion for the performers.
There's a famous experiment where virtuoso Josh Bell, who was used to performing in sold out concert halls with expensive tickets, put on normal street clothes and played a $3.5 million Stradivarius violin on the subway with most people completely ignoring him.
I'm like Muraham, I pass by a street artist, I stop and listen (or watch: during my holiday in Portugal I've been lucky enough to see Capoeira performed in the street)
Ciao from an Italian addicted to this channel
Uncle Muraham has such passion music, I love watching him letting himself go and just being in the moment.
One of my favorite videos. I think even with the language barrier these guys got it. Glad they enjoyed it.
Hey @TRYBALS, its great to see that the gentlemen enjoyed the video, I am happy to see that you listened to my comment in an earlier video. I hope to see many more of these great videos. May the people from all over the world become closer to each other and spread love and happines. Instead of war, hate, hunger, greed and poverty.
Playing for change helps the world with music, you sir help the world with these wonderful videos.
YES!!! This one is SO good!!! Good choice! ALSO "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For!" That one is the best! (playing for change) June
Yay! I asked long ago for them to watch Playing for Change!
That flat instrument wasn't one...
It is an old fashioned Washboard for washing clothes by hand.
It became an instrument later.
Its part of the symbol of poverty; The poorest would turn household items into instruments that mimicked real instruments, which became parodied in cartoons, and they'd make bluegrass or country or soul music.
6:09 I love that Uncle Abdul enjoys the older man’s voice. They remind me of one another. Both seem to have lots of wisdoms and experience. ❤
This is such a classic song, I'm not surprised people all over the world know it. I love the way all the different performers and locations were cut together so seamlessly.
Playing for change has a double meaning. Playing to change the world is one. Buskers--street performers literally play for change--the coins in your pocket that aren't enough to buy anything.
Your gentleman got the spirit of it right away. I'm with Muharam, I will always stop and listen.
Great song, great reactions !
Feels like this could be the anthem for this channel.
I ove hearing the responses, reactions and wise conclusions these men draw from watching this Playing for Change video. I am from U.S. and grew up with this song, so, for me it always meant someone "having your back" standing with you even if life took a turn or someone turned against you. With Playing for Change a global sense of coming together for the expression of music and in a spirit of peaceful collaboration comes across. As one of the gentleman said something about, in your video, we are all much more alike than different...we can all work and enjoy together in collaboration with common ground.
Love the song. :Brings happy tears
This playing for change vid has always been my favorite
Thank you.
Really liked the way the song was presented. It was great how it cut from one place/performance to another. Marvellous.
As were the reactions of these marvellous people.
Thank you!
I love the message this project is promoting. There must be change in this world and we must learn to accept each other as we are. Love to all! ❤️
I love to see music in the streets of my hometown! ❤ i stand by and listen, if i have the time 😊
So amazing. Thank you for this video!
A wonderful piece of music across the world for them to react to, their wisdom & understanding is much needed. Thank you all.
I love Playing for Change & follow them closely, they link cultures & music around the world, helping to show that we are all brothers or sisters from different mothers.
I love the tribal people and I LOVE Playing for Change, I was blessed to see Playing for Change in person and one day I pray I could be blessed to meet some people from Tribal People. Love you all!
Uncle Abdul always has the most beautiful and wise words, he always makes me tear up because he's a wonderful soul. Thank you for sharing this gift of a human with us.
I liked Mashoque's comment: "..it's a call of love for all human beings to come together". Beautiful.
I enjoyed watching this video. We should all experience other cultures through our music.
It's so special to watch you show our music to people from various subcultures of Pakistan. I wish there were an equivalent where I could watch my fellow Americans experience your culture.
The wisdom of these gentlemen is so heartwarming to hear. They may not understand the English lyrics but they feel the music in their souls and what the song means on a much deeper level.
That board thing is called a washboard. Before clothes washing machines, people washed their clothes by putting some soapy water in a large wash bucket, sticking the washboard in, and scrubbing the clothes up and down against the washboard.
Great Video!
I can tell how much they were removed by the song it made me move too. May God bless them and keep them healthy.
Great reaction! Please check more from playing for change, I suggest you their songs "Biko" and "When the levee breaks". Cheers!
I would suggest the original of Biko. Peter Gabriel has himself been "playing for change" for years.
I love watching these videos and the people who do the analysis and feedback. It helps me understand other people in the world and their perspectives. Thank them for sharing and Thank you for making this channel. How about getting them to see Eric Whiteacre’s virtual choir from 2011?
One of my favourite pastimes is to view reaction videos from folks who are unfamiliar with the musicians/artists. I really like these guys. By the way, I used to study and live close-by men from Pakistan and they were some of the most kindhearted men. We were able to enjoy the goat curry dish they cooked. In my country, fresh goat meat is very hard to come by, but they sourced it! AND, it was a spectacular gastronomic experience.
Glad they enjoyed it!
From Playing for Change the music video "sizting on the docks of the bay is amazing too.
I loved this vid when it came out. Great choice!
Really enjoy all these videos keep it up 🔥💯
The words "Playing For Change" in this context has a double meaning. The broader meaning, of course, is "changing the world by bringing people together with music". The second meaning is the fact that street musicians literally play for tips (pocket change). That strange "instrument" is actually an old fashion scrub board invented for washing clothes by hand. This song was just the first of many videos they made, with many more musicians from even more countries. Playing For Change has now released several albums.
This was a lovely video, and I appreciated the insights provided by these thoughtful men. I would like to suggest you do a video playing Simon and Garfunkels "A Bridge Over Troubled Water" Would love to hear their take on that angelic song
I believe this song had some gospel roots thank you gentlemen for sharing your thoughts with us
The first question was an odd one for me. Isn't bringing different people together with music what this channel is specifically about? It's also why I love these reactions, music is the universal language we all feel. Great review, thanks!
Abdul has respect for his bearded brother
Would it be possible for you to turn the tables and play some of their music for us ? We would like to hear your interpretation of music as well and no doubt we would also like to give our impressions as well. Thank you
🌻
A reaction to Human by Rag n Bone Man would be amazing, it's such a powerful song.
Bob Marley is a perfect example of music bringing people together and changing the world
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should have them react to Andre Antunes guitar accompaniment to Sanson Ki Mala Pe by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. A different (and excellent) take on something they're probably familiar with
Suggest they watch Scott Sterling Volleyball, or Soccer.
😊
You should let them listen to Rage Against the Machine: Killing in the name! They'll understand the message through the aggression of the song.
This song was from a movie .
I know if I passed someone with a lot of recording equipment, I'd also probably stay out of their way, thinking I could be interrupting important filming or I would be nervous of accidentally knocking over their equipment lol
PLEASE REACT TO LUCIO DALLA CARUSO LIVE
th-cam.com/video/yD-id0xBO_k/w-d-xo.html This is the music video from the 1982 hit song, "Escalator of Life," it basically sums up "CAPITALISM".
That instrument was a plain washboard every woman had to scrub cloths with before washing machines. My mom had one.
BEN E. KING ONLY ONE CAN SING IT RIGHT.. THAT IS HIS BIG HIT.. 1960'S
Just looked thru catalogue -why no Journey? One of the best voices of all time should be Trybally judged
For the love of God...YES!!!!!! hahaha I love Steve!!! ( hope Adnan gets to it ) ELO, Chicago, Bee Gees, etc.
It's amazing to me the foresight these men have. Just simply asking the question delve into the minds of these men maybe changing the way they think. The world is full of smart people no matter where you go. They rely on their moral fiber. That is true of men no matter where you go. Kudos for these guys in their Channel.
