as a spaniard myself, it is a pleasure to see foreign people discover and enjoy Paco de Lucia's guitar as much as we do every day (at least I do everyday hahaha). Thank you so much for supporting Spanish music and culture.

My father would always play this in the car and we were like "oww no not again !" but in truth we liked the songs, I still can play entre dos aguas in my head. greetings from France :)
Thank you. I'm from Spain too. From here I see, again that music crosses all type of borders anf has no boundaries. It hits no matter where we are or who we are. We just need a pinch to vibrate in the same tune. Thanks for this channel. IS A MUST!!!
This was incredible. Not heard them before. Will also be checking out Abdul's suggestion too..that's what I love about channels like this, you find so many new things to listen to that you've not previously discovered. This channel is the best thing to pop up on my algorithm. Wish it had been a bit quicker about it. But I'm having loads of fun catching up with past vids. It's opened up so many other great ones too. Great stuff, guys.
Realmente me emocioné con la reacción del señor Mashoque Ali Halepoto (con todos los mayores, también), pero hoy disfruté mucho de verlos a ustedes señores reacionando a ésta canción, gracias de nuevo.
I'm a fan of your channel. I loved when Muharam said "his hands move as fast as a cat preying a bird." You may wish to know that flamenco guitars use (softer) nylon strings rather than the steel strings on the guitar you have.
I am watching your program from Havana, Cuba, excellent! Paco de Lucia is of the highest quality in the guitar world, although it is flamenco music, the background percussion, especially the Bongo (the two small drums together) is played in a Cuban style, from the Caribbean Sea. Greetings my friend!
Well done. What you do takes time and lots of effort which I don't think is lost on those who view your site. You are doing a great thing by exposing these villagers to a larger world view. the o[pportunity to see things they would never otherwise see or realize opens their eyes to things and their lives are enriched by what you do. Paco de lucia was a poor boy and in the jear 60s they have no Internet Like today. Paco Play His guitar 14 hours per day all days✌🏻. He is the best of all time
Hi, just a little note: FlamencO is the type of music, the classical guitar is original from Spain and that type is called "guitarra flamencA" (adjective, always with the name guitar. The word Flamenco is the music, not the guitar). The Spaniards carried their guitars (classical, flamenca, timple -- there are many more Spanish string instruments !) and horses to America, there they suffer some changes and today we have the acoustic guitar (the strings are by far harder than in the classical one), the electric guitar, or the ukelele. Thank you for these videos, they are very interesting ! I think Spanish music shares a lot with South Asia, because the Spanish gypsies came from India. I am sure they will like it! It is not the only think Spain shares with South Asia, we also have similar pottery and leather works. It is a tradition from the Roman times that continue through the centuries, and were specially reknown in Europe during the Middle Ages. Many designs were brought by the Arabs, who were also in contact with the Far East, but the artisan centers of pottery, leather, and steel existed already in Roman times. Beautiful things travel through frontiers and times. Please, show them also flamenco songs and dance! 🤗
My suggested song is "Which side are you on?" It's an old bluegrass song about coal miners in kentucky unionizing to improve pay and working conditions. They might like to hear an older american folk song. Also native Americans have some cool powwows they might enjoy seeing. @TRYBALS
Wonderful reaction,..the man in the blue shirt, already seemed familiar with playing the guitar, and I was very then interested to see what he thought of the playing, the style, and I was very, very happy to see his amazement at this artist, that this was from 1976,..yess sir,..the 70's, were quite the decade, the innovation artists did, back then, was amazing,..you were all so invested, and intently paying attention, I'm sure you found similarities to the music in your home country, its like one of you said, its just a different style, tempo,....I so love flamenco, the flamenco on this side of the ocean, as well, has such passion in it, and while there may be no lysrics to the song, hmmpf,..just ad dancers, that's truly how the passion of the music, to me, is expressed, I so love seeing the flamenco dancers, dancing to this music, and you were all so impressed with the speed at which he played, just look at the dancers, which I hope you will do a reaction to, the speed of the footwork the dancers do to something like this, is as amazing, again, the speed, tempo, like the elder said, takes much practice to hone such skill,..its beautiful, and yess, romantic, passionate,..fiercely so,..God Bless you gentlemen, and your family and community,..haven't watched ya'll in a while, will have to catch up, Godspeed, Peace ✌
I was born in the same town as Paco, our town is called Algeciras and its the last town of the South of Spain. There´s a big statue of Paco, he made us all really proud.
The music - how it goes through this men - the history of melodic that all of there anciestry (arabic to moorish to islam to europe and back and there again) you feel a rattle in the bones of 100 generations over many thousand miles - absolute priceless! Bravo!

Best guitar player in history. I say this being a huge rock and metal fan. But Paco de Lucía is just on another level of guitar player. He is the virtuoso of virtuosos. His music will live forever.
TH-cam has been difficult for many other creators i watch. I'm sorry you are having problems with that. I want to say that I appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos. Thanks for everything you do! 👍
Without a doubt, Paco de Lucia is the best exponent of our country by far, playing the Spanish guitar, which has become a universal instrument. From them many variants of it have emerged, one variant that I find very interesting is the Cuban tres "Tres Cubano". For its musicality, cadence and rhythm. Which has allowed so many interesting rhythms to develop in that country, mixing with other cultures. Here is an example of this.
Me alegra que lo aprecien. Les recomiendo "Bulerías" de Paco de Lucía y Camarón de la Isla y "Cuplerías" de Diana Navarro. Un cordial saludo desde España.
I would absolutely love them watching a video of him playing with a singer like Camarón. More in the contect of traditional flamenco, i think they could really appreciated. Much love from spain, Paco de Lucía leyenda siempre!
Abdul, you give me great joy to see your face, because you look so much like my father. He has been gone many years, but I can remember him when you speak. It is amazing that someone across the whole world could look just like you. Oh, and I have learned to play flamenco songs on my guitar too. Usually women dance to the music in beautiful clothes that have lots of layers, but I prefer to make it. To my ear, flamenco sounds like it has an Islamic influence. Do you hear it as well?
I highly recomend "Camaron de la Isla & Paco de Lucia - Bulerias (Live)" it includes singing the way it is sung reminds me of the call to prayer. I think because Spain has a mixture of Christian & Islamic cultures spaniards have a love of the intonations in the call and it never left their culture. (many reactors use a filter over the video being reactedto of a semi transparent still image to avoid automated copyright strikes)
This peace doesn’t need lyrics. The title is the lyrics: entre dos aguas-between two Waters. Between the atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea. It is a hymn to all of Spain. Saw Paco de Lucia 3 times in concert. He was ubique.
