many thanks for taking the time and explaining what's needed to keep your printer functioning. I found a couple of the screws on my rails loose after your video and also because i had 2 failed prints around the 80% mark. But had to reinstall firmware in both cases to restart my printer.
Look forward to your next video.
Thank you! This fixed the issues I got with my printer!
Thanks for doing this, I just bought one today and I now knowc what to check and maintain
well done. good and helpful info.thank you.
great vid mate, this might be what I've been experiencing, I'll be checking before next print, cheers
Thank you. Value received
gracias por la dedicacion del video, saludos
printing non-stop using this printer for more than a year at this point, had a lot of problems at the start, as this is my first 3d printer, and I had to figure out a lot of the details
the biggest problem I found was wobbly arc, so moving the filament roll to a dryer, and adding a filament guide helped a lot
also changed the plastic spacers under the bed for the silicon ones like on the original ender 3, then leveled the bed manually
also I changed firmware to klipper for remote management and better bed mesh probing (needs separate host controller)
oh, almost forgot
make sure to go to your settings and see if your acceleration and max speed are set to something reasonable, cause some people see something like 4000 acceleration on there by default, which is a no go fo this printer
I have just bought the same printer, first print was great but now the print does not extrude material, o believe the motor is failing but how can i confirm it is?
Can this printer print ABS/Nylon filament?
Hope that will solve my problème
I just took the silicone off that's over the nozzle and it works fine now
Do you think that the SE or KE is a better starter 3d printer? I’m looking at both. Thanks for the video - I’m sure it will serve me well down the road!
I have a comparison video of two models coming out soon, not of the KE though. Do not have any experience with the KE yet.
@@jeradhilltech I do not. I’m a noob, my SE arrives on Friday. I only know about the KE from research - that the average print speed is nearly twice as fast as the SE, the touchscreen is bigger than the scroll wheel on the SE, that the wifi has security concerns, and that the quality of print is almost identical on both units.
This is exactly the problem I’m having and my printer is only 3 weeks old and has done less than a dozen prints.
Did it work?
Jerad, could you please address the horrible stringing Ender 3 V3 SE has? I've tried everything from temperature, to retraction speed / distance to all the tricks and tunes I could find online, but still stringing (also dried my PLA). I'm getting mad!
Yeah, we are about to give up on our Ender 3 V3 SE as well. Keep running into new problems.
What slicer are you using? I don’t like the creality slicer but the prucia and cura slicers don’t have profiles for the gender 3 v3 se?
Just use an ender 3 profile.
Use orca slicer
Cura has one now
Can anyone help with belt slippage on these? I will try all these tips but slippage seems to be the culprit but I have no clue how to fix it on this model
Does your printer have the belt tensioner? I would tighten up the tension a bit but be careful not to over tighten.
mine stop after a week - display did not show any text anymore and would not take a filiament anymore, started printing without filement
return i to de seller awaiting there feedback
We are struggling as well. One problem leads to another.
There's nothing more disheartening than a perfect first layer, then coming back in an hour(or in my case 2.5 hours) to see spaghetti all over the plate. Argh!
Started a print 10 times, making little adjustments between each print, before I gave up on it!
❤Spool at the top might add wobble
Might
It wont ad wibble it vill increase the strenght of the wobble
Thanks for the video, gave it all a good thigh
step one.. swap the crappy build plate for PEI and save it for TPU prints
solution: the the card around -_-
Get to the point!
