i just made the creamy cashew dressing and OMG... i’m currently eating it with a salad i made and I'M IN LOVE. as a mostly raw wfpb vegan it has been hard for me to eat raw salads because i haven't found a salad dressing recipe i really enjoy. I WILL DEFINITELY BE EATING SALADS EVERY DAY NOW SO THANK YOU!!! i didn’t add in any vinegar because i don't look as vinegar as something we should be putting in our body but i’m sure that would’ve made the flavor pop even more! it tastes amazing without it though and i would definitely use it as a dip as well for carrots and other vegetables!!!
I’m 62 and vegan for 7!years. Ii have perfect blood work and take no medications. I started my raw food journey 3 months ago. I will say this about oil. I take my blood pressure several times a day on a daily basis. When I was using oil in my dressings (extra virgin olive oil primarily), my blood pressure increased. Oil puts fats into the bloodstream quickly, causing blood pressure to rise. Oil also eventually clogs arteries over time. This is not a major concern for young people. But for someone my age whose trying to control their blood pressure, I would recommend no oil, as in pourable oils, or only occasional use of oils. Definitely no cooking with oil. Preferable get fats from whole food sources like nuts and seeds.
@@KINGSNCROWNS Very little salt. I try to eat mainly a fruitarian diet in order to avoid salt. This includes savory fruits such as tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, etc. So I am not only eating sweet fruits. I also juice vegetables to get their nutrients without having to use salt and/or oil for seasoning. When I eat food like soups on the weekend, that is when I use salt.
Thankyou for that, I am 62 with hbp and just started my Vegan journey 2 months ago. I have not gone to the dr yet. I want to at least get 3months of eating Vegan before I go get lab work done.
I’m currently on DAY 5 of my raw vegan journey and tonight I was this close to cooking my vegetables because I refuse to eat dry lettuce. This just changed my life. Thank you for the delicious looking dressing recipes and the ideas of what to eat them with. Like the idea of placing the dressing little bowl in the big salad bowl, seems practical. About the oils, I could relate , it makes the food more tasty but I keep getting advice from raw food eating nutritionists that it’s actually fat and can make you tired the next day after you eat your fruit breakfast. I do find that to be true for myself sometimes so I limit how much I eat of it a week. Love your videos, keep shining and blooming! 🌸🌼🌺🍓🍇🍐🍊🍋🫐
I had trouble losing weight in the past on a raw diet, and realized the fats from the nuts was the culprit. When changing over to a raw diet I needed substance. I just have to be more careful. Can't wait to try it.
Yup. The nuts and seeds will definitely do it! I agree! Eating higher fat can definitely help you feel more satiated transitioning to raw… it definitely did for me! It’s okay to eat higher fat foods in moderation. Striving for balance in your diet as much as possible is key.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Although your dishes seem beginner friendly, they all look very delish and pleasingly presentable. I'm so excited to start trying your dishes. I want to try vegan dishes but it seems so challenging to do everyday mainly because I don't quite get what vegan is and means exactly so I feel overwhelmed. But as long as dishes and sauces are made like this I can follow your lead and this means I get to eat healthy without the overwhelm. That dressing looks so good my favorite ranch is the Olive Garden so it'll be nice to taste this and see how it compares.
Anytime! I completely understand how overwhelming eat more vegan foods can be. But it doesn't have to be complicated. It's best just to keep your meals as simple as possible especially when you're first starting out. The ranch tastes nothing like Olive Gardens and trust me, I would know cause I used to eat there a lot when I was not vegan. But I hope you still like it! It's a great healthy alternative!

Hey Bev! So glad to hear it 💗🥰 You can sub the mustard powder for dijon mustard if you have it. I think it would be a better substitute than regular yellow mustard. Maybe even add in a few capers for a briny salty flavor. Let me know how you like it when you get around to trying it!
I’m on day 3 of my raw vegan journey. Can you tell me the portion size of the ingredients? I don’t want to mess up but I’m definitely excited about trying them all.
I don’t really get cravings for anything much anymore. I used to a lot in the beginning… I used to crave overly salty or sugary things like candy. When I feel the urge to eat a specific food, I would simply substitute it with something that tasted similar to lessen the craving. I find the longer that I’m on the raw lifestyle, the less I tend I have cravings.

I just finished it its amazing and healthier and taste better than the real thing. Muchas gracias!
good job girl!
Thanks so much! 💞
Hey Ash...I'm going to try the spicy Caesar dressing 1st, because I have all the ingredients on hand...except mustard powder. Can I just sub it with regular mustard??
By the way, the video was a lifesaver, because I have lettuce in the fridge that needs to be eaten soon!
Hi Margerite! Sorry for the late reply. I hope you found the recipe! All the portions are listed in the description box.
On day 4 of raw vegan how long can you leave the dressing in the fridge? Going to make one tomorrow
Congrats! 3-4 days for the dressings.
@@BloomingRaw thank you
My question: what do you do when it’s late at night and you get some reason craving? How do you fight back that temptation?
I don’t really get cravings for anything much anymore. I used to a lot in the beginning… I used to crave overly salty or sugary things like candy. When I feel the urge to eat a specific food, I would simply substitute it with something that tasted similar to lessen the craving. I find the longer that I’m on the raw lifestyle, the less I tend I have cravings.
I can’t seem to have salads without avocado, literally all the time 🥺.
I understand that. I used to be the same way!
They look delicious! Definitely going to try them all.
Thank you so much! The ranch is my fave! ♥️
In the raw vegan world, is it one cup of cashews, then soak them, or do you soak cashews, then measure out a cup after they're soaked?
Measure out the cup after they’re soaked. ❤️
@@BloomingRaw Thank you so much! I was doing it wrong...
So how do you make these🤪
The dressings? Add the ingredients to a blender and that’s it 😂
Thanks so much
Of course!!

Hey!🦋 you like raw vegan soups? I tried some recipes but I don’t find really someone delicious.. I mean isn’t bad, but isn’t delicious like a chia pudding or a smoothie bowl:)))💚
Hi love! Yes, I do! I love a good raw soup every now and then 😊Not something I choose to eat everyday. My body mostly craves fresh fruit 😍😋
Yummy 😊
Thank you so much!!
OmG!!!! 2nd time making this Ranch Dressing!!! Much better after I let the cashews boil and let sit a few hrs to soften up!! Much smoother texture!! HOT DAMN DELICIOUS😛😛😛
Woooohooo!! 💗💗 Glad you enjoyed it Bridget!
The last salad looks amazing but I hate Raspberries..as far as oil I use grape seed avocado oil and extra virgin olive oil.
You can sub it out for strawberries or any berry of your choice if you wanna make the dressing! And nice! How often do you consume oils? I love extra virgin olive… it’s definitely my favorite 😍
@@BloomingRaw evoo is what I use in dressing..to Sautéed my veggies I use grapseed the most..I use oils often
Hi beautiful, How long did you soak your cashews?
Hi! I soaked them for at least 20 minutes :)
Beautiful ✌🏾❤️💛🧡💚💙💜
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you give me the recipe exactly how much you put into each
Hi Larry! The recipes are in the video description box :)
…and are you eating with wood? I only use chopsticks lol Go head Woman! I thought I was just being crazy me. So nice to see I’m not alone lol
Haha heck yeah! We’ll be crazy together 😜
Yummy
Thank you!! 🥰
anyway to make the ranch thicker
Add more cashews!
Dogs can eat too, really. I know a lot of vegan dogs and that food will do them a lot of good
Yeah, my dogs love their fruits and veggies :) My vet says they're both extremely healthy boys!
Doggies like raw carrot and apples!
Yes they do 😍 My pup LOVES apples!

You didn't give the measurements only the ingredients
