These are gorgeous! It's been a while since I last shot with Cinestill 800T, but this video is definitely inciting the urge. A side note is that I nearly thought the location you shot at in the beginning of the video was somewhere in Toronto because the building in the distance to the right looks vaguely like a building belonging to Ryerson U.
Thanks so much!! I am quite certain it was my first time shooting 800T, and if not, then it has been a long time! I really enjoyed making these photos and this video! I'm usually out in the countryside for sunrise haha. Oh, I would love to visit Canada!
That pano @2.45 is an absolute banger! I can tell you've put a stack of work into this video. You covered many miles to do this video! Was a great night adventure around Brisbane. Those wet streets with thr reflections / light blur is minty mint! That shot of the XXXX brewery was great. And I'm glad you said petrol station. I hate it when Aussies say 'gas station' like we say it here. Another banger video man, was well worth the wait!!
Thanks so much for the awesome feedback Pete! I really appreciate it! I was so stoked for the wet street for that shot! It rained about 10 minutes before haha! Yeah man, so much walking haha! 18km on the first night 😅 probably about 8km on the second! All in one weekend. I was buggered lol
Finally got some time to watch this! Something very different for you but I like it, the shots on the Fujifilm G617 where interesting too. Very movie like! Like this style of yours. I thought the Vally is where all the hip kids hang out these day too? With a camera? 🙃 And look... I am Queensland born, but grew up mainly in NSW... but you can't diss XXXX like that haha
Hahaha thanks so much man!! Tbh, on a super hot day a super cold XXXX still goes down well 🤣 Thanks for the kind words! I really did enjoy shooting these, particularly the panoramas!! I am not hip enough to know where the hip kids hang out lol 🤣
Hey Ian, thanks for watching!! I actually really enjoyed shooting these photos, even though it isn't what I usually shoot! The tripod was a Neewer one. I can't remember the exact model, though, as I no longer have it. The legs were pretty good, but I really didn't like the head.
The Brownie is 620 film, isn't it?? If so, you'll need to either modify the 120 spool, or respool it onto a 620 spool. If the Brownie has a bulb mode it will work just fine 🙂 Otherwise you still might struggle a little.
Nice images but the 240 second pano of the car park is really special in my opinion. 👍
Thanks so much, Kevin! That photo actually works really well! I was really happy with the whole roll in the G617
That was great. The night shots are a very different perspective. Enjoy seeing the other side of photography 😍
Thank you! Despite getting sore feet I enjoyed doing something different 🙂
12:24 wow love the soapbox beer one! all these places I didn't know existed in Brisbane ha ha
Yeah, I just stumbled across that whilst heading for the Les Bubbles one!!
Bloody amazing shots Nathan! You really made the most of cinestill 800t and all your shots were total knockouts. Thanks for sharing with us 👍🏻🎞😍
Thanks so much Lucy!! I am so glad you liked them! I hadn't used cinestill before, or maybe once YEARS ago, but had ao much fun!!
Nice shots! 6:56 looks awesome, love all the layers and lines in it 👏
Thanks Nuno! I love the layers and tge mix of neon light and sunstars from the street lights :)
8:32 yeah love this one too, must admit I didn't know where it was though!
That one is at the northern end or Suncorp stadium :)
Thanks for sharing awesome night photography video. :)
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you liked it! 😄
Very enjoyable Nathan! I must give 800T another go
Thanks so much Matt! You should! I had fun with it :)

2:51 oooo yeah love it! and I know the location lol
Thanks Matt! Aha, a classic spot! 🤣
I would really like to shoot some more panoramas in the city. Perhaps during the day with black and white 🤔

Hey, enjoyed this video! What tripod are you using?

Would this film work in a kodak brownie at night

@@MeasuredLight ok thank you, yeah u can modify the 120spool easily, but IL give it a miss with the brownie as it's a bit expensive for trial👍
Now shoot 800T in the rainforest with a warming filter!
Keen! When are we doing it?!,!
