This is not to take away from you @yachtcitylife !! I love your channel!!! Thanks for sharing what this guy does for a living!!! 😅
@@GenerationDown haha, cool idea! We actually already inspired one guy who does boat repairs, he said it would be great to record all before and after his repairs over the years, but you need to focus a lot on this, and if you work full time it's not easy to find time for this 🙈 if we meet that guy, I will share with him this idea 😉
Wow all the barnacles would make good burley for fishing.
Whatare the white spots left on the hull.
Are the barnacles pushed back in the water
@@Sheila-z3i for sure, the less you have on your bottom, the smoother it goes through the water)
I bet your fuel usage is great now! About 15 Km/hr increase in speed and probable 25% more range on full fuel.
Marine Mechanic here Once a year haul out, pressure wash and repaint bottom Don’t neglect to charge the zincs
@@TCshore1 thank you)
Ok how much water did it take, and how much did all that weigh? 🤔
@@musicsnob4226 unfortunately we didn't get this information from marina guys too, sorry 🤷🏻♀️
@YachtCityLife still fun to wonder
Just woundering how much KG of barnacles removed
@@paulwilliams73 we'll never know 😂
best wishes with getting her back into proper shape
@@OttoMatieque thank you, she is getting there, you can see work in progress in our last videos 😌
Not sure about boats, shouldn't there be logs from cleaning hull off? I like the video its super neat.
@@Mr.inky213 thank you, if the owner does them - yes)
@YachtCityLife your welcome, I like to be as organized as possible lol.
@@Mr.inky213 we too, but we can't control what other people were doing 42 years 😅
@YachtCityLife fair enough! We can control the future, based on now😊.
dang that was some nasty buildup, im surprised those rudders and props even worked properly
We too actually 😂
please tell me you put a fresh bottom paint on after all that hard work
@@Scott_Hauck who would not do that? 🙈😂
P.S.: you can see on the channel 😉
Would you like some ship hull with your barnacle biomass?
I could watch her explain and get excited about things all day lol .
@@GarrettWebster-mx5wx haha, thanks 😉 then watch our other videos too)
How can I get a job cleansing bottom of boats?
Do I need any requirements?
I think you just get to the boatyard and ask for the job, don't think you need any experience for this)
holy cow how did that thing move thru the water.
Really slowly 😅
I get how they clean the smaller ships now, but I just curious how they clean ships like cruise liners
@@dmr14wizkid14 now I am curious too 😅 I think they have bigger teams doing it
@@dmr14wizkid14 Dima said that they get to the channel where they are getting to the supports and then water goes off and ships stay at supports. And then the same 😃
Imagine the drag it had in the water decreasing the economy of the boat
@@rw3175 right, we were trying to use it as an underwater sail with the current 😂
