Very cool!
Haha my 3 fans on my k8s run on two 3s packs lol
You lost me at Traxxas, I had an RC10 in 1992 and have hated Traxxas ever since. As I have gotten old, I learned to buy multiple RCs, sometimes two kits at a time if they are on sale at half off. My experience with local hobby shop employees is not good, most have really bad attitudes and push what they have in stock which kind of works for your problem.
I'm sorry that you've had bad experiences with your local hobby shop. I'm fortunate to have 2 within an hour from me that are fantastic!
Ugly but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t perform 😉
That's what my wife says about me 😂
@@scalebuildersguild 🤦🏻♂️😂🤣👍👍
I absolutely agree that we need to support our local shops... (Excluding the fact hobby town doesn't/didn't carry team associated, which is one of my top favs) But the closest one to me is an hour away... Sooo add 20bucks for gas to that part now, or get it delivered from THEIR website .
And I will NEVER support traxxas ! So I couldn't care less if they have traxxas parts in stock, and traxxas have eh descent cars but are way over priced and have horrible business practices. Nope!
SMH, lol , 😂
Dude still a fan and subscriber love all the effort and artistry you put into this hobby.
but - ya shoulda picked a less volatile brand to make yer point 😉😂
Lots of people are disgusted with that company, It ain't just me.
It's definitely important to support out local hobby shops! Thanks for watching!
They need to give you a lipo right out of the box. Why do they insist on sticking with NiMH?
Sorry? No batteries are included. Use a 2S Lipo if you like!
@@scalebuildersguild I didn’t realize you don’t get a battery.
The beep volume is hella excessive
Traxxas rustler on scale builders guild, hilarious 😂
There's also been the Slash, XRT, Hoss, Maxx, TRX4, Sledge, the list goes on! This hobby can be many things, to many people, and I like to play with all forms of RC!
welp had me for a second. Why waste your time with a 2s...
Because not everyone is experienced in RC. Sometimes it's good to start here if you're new. And honestly, this thing on 2S is a handful.
It's in the cheap ones instead of XL5. Starter system.
Bought this last week and love it! The 2s 5800 battery lasts about 35-45mins so I'd imagine thr 7600 would last close to an hour. Plus this truck is all HD parts so you can let kids and your buddies drive it carefree. $330 is a smoking deal. 💪😎
Rustler 4x4 has been out for bout 4 yrs now and wasn't an entry level it came 3s , the rustler 2x4 was is the entry level
More expensive and half the speed of the 2WD VXL lol, I`d rather get a used VXL and use the spare cash to buy RPM parts..
Fair enough. Thanks for watching!
I like your voice over work. Your videos? 🙄
Just came to remember the time you and Josh Crapped on Kev Talbot for being a sellout because he has a monster truck lol You just wanted a free TRX bahaha now your just a Corpo mouthpiece. Curious how it compares to it's counterparts BAHAHA
Sellout for buying a Monster Truck? Huh? I certainly don't like RC Monster Trucks, let alone real ones, but if Kevin wants to spend his money that way, that's his prerogative! He certainly creates a lot of engaging content, good for him! Looks like you've got some cool places to play with your RC's, enjoy!
@@scalebuildersguild The reference was, you two ( mostly Josh) were implying where he got the money for it. (Cheap overseas knock offs and low brow smash for views style) It's all good, my disdain is w/ the brand not you or your channel. I actually like your stuff, been watching for years and years from my personal channel and will continue to. I enjoy the humor but more importantly , the wit! I do have to say I align more w/ Josh's personality more. Thank you for giving my humble channel a view, and I apologize for the mouthpiece remark it was off color. Sorry dude :/ I could feel the monumental restraint in the reply 😣
Creep it real 🖖
All good dude! We're all out here trying to enjoy this hobby to the fullest! I like to present as many options for people that may want to try things outside of scale, and bashing is still something I'm learning about! Loved all that Fireteam content you've got, it's a tank! The biggest point I was trying to make in this video is to support your local shop! Do you have any close to you in Alaska?
@@scalebuildersguild LOVE THE FIRETEAM!! It's deff a tank and well engineered I might say!
Yes, we only have one real shop in the whole state lol Anchorage House of Hobbies. They move lots of merchandise, but they are constantly going through workers and nobody knows anything. I was loyal to them for years and spent thousands there. I would hang out for hours BS'n and talking RC with anyone who would listen. I used to have a small business so I'm all about the little guy. But they went downhill big time once The Mexican Beer Flu hit. Poor service, sometimes no service. Wrong parts sold unless you come in w/ the exact part number. Guys having the connectors fall off after they put them on new batts. Never having the common stuff in stock, but saying you can order it for me. What good is that? Now I have to wait 2-3 weeks because its coming in w/ you next bulk order? I could of ordered it cheaper, and had it in 4-5 days. I have done PLENTY for that small business (actually a big volume mover for HH and Traxass) Most of my business is from Tower Hobby or Jenny's RC these days. I'm actually doing prototype testing of some new to market merchandise not just a copy paste like every other company in our little realm. I'm working on the patent's first as we both know a certain brand loves to take over idea's and file like they created it (cantilever shock system) etc Just protecting my intelectual property. Send Cut Send and my CR-Scan Ferret are my BFF's (Thanks Josh lol)
PS you're not taking that hat to Ireland now, are you 😆
Traxxas must really need a PR boost after that last big corporation bully maneuver they pulled a few months back…. I got nothing against you Matt always thought you were a nice enough fella, but screw traxxas….
Sadly traxass does have great part support. But i don't like traxass they are the bullies of the RC world.
Must.... Talk.... Slower... Must.. drag... Out... The...content
Go to 1.25 speed bruh.
Everyone's a critic! 😂
What a downgrade
it’s an E-revo
It's a Rustler.
