Love the video and while i don't speedrun, maybe making a playlist of these or some common naming would help with catching the attention of aspiring speedrunners.
the thumbnail lowkey looks like mario got tired of this game's camera, so he put lakitu on a baby sling and decided to have first person mario 64.
Poor Lakitu, he doesn’t deserve to be ignored like this.
Perhaps one of the first glitches I ever knew about, despite still not being able to perform it lol. Thank you for this video!

This is a Classic Glitch in Super Mario 64 and its can still be possible in 3D Allstars Super Mario 64 Shindou Edition. Only thr BLJ is patch in that version.

I like how the devs just plopped Lakitu in front of the castle door, ready for his appearance in the cut-scene. They obviously thought that no one would notice, since everyone would be playing Super Mariop 64 on an SD TV and you wouldn't be able to see such a small detail!
Ooh I like the slight music in this one! For a second I thought this was about Mario Kart and ignoring Lakitu's pleas to obey the rules of the road.
I like the music in this one. It's subtle and adds a lot.
Everytime I see your logo, followed by the coin noise, I can't help but say "It's-a me Mario!" like how Mario says it in Mario 64's opening.
This was a pretty cool change of pace. Surprisingly compact in length too!
Ten seconds may not seem like much, but in speedruns, nanoseconds are *_EVERYTHING._* I say this as someone not interested in speedrunning.
i feel like this is one of the most well known tricks to ANY speedrunner of ANY game.

I’m so glad this was still in the switch port. It’s good Nintendo still respect some minor tricks in the games

I always wondered what i was doing wrong, i was too far to the left.
Actually, there's an easier way to skip Lakitu at the begining: Go to the slope where you start and try to get to the top as high as posible, and time an perfect triple jump to give enough speed and distance to bypass the trigger easly.
Poor jawsh fails this skip so often XD

An easier method exists, slower, but much easier.
Though, Speedruns use the faster method.
