I saw requests for Super Mario Galaxy in Glitch Shorts, and seen as I've already covered a lot of the most known glitches years ago, here's something I'm sure a lot of you never knew about. Please support this episode, I'm already seeing a lot of the newer ones not having much of a turnout.

Why did you make a whole new channel with the same content? It only inflates our sub list. The more creators do this the more we will not be able to find the channels we want to watch from our sub list. Don't cause inconvenience for your own fan base. Each vid from this channel will be an immediate dislike from me.
Why dose it matter that much to you about that just type in glitch shorts then sub so you can get notifications when something happens new on the channel

Small adjustment to the execution info (I say this as the TASer who discovered this trick): It's a 3 frame window to press A to jump off the ray. This means that there is only a 2 frame window to backflip (1 frame to crouch).
You don't *need* to do the backflip, though it's easier than a jump+spin so you might as well hold Z while you time your A press.
Also, as an added bonus if you die while out of bounds here, the manta ray respawns at the race and when you talk to the penguin again you start the tutorial and the race simultaneously.
This OoB makes for a really crazy TAS strat.

Galaxy is one of the more polished Mario games out there in terms of bugs and glitches, so it’s pretty interesting to see them here whenever they pop up.
Seeing Mario swim in nothing reminds me of Super Mario 64 DS. If you dive at a tree near the cannon at just the right angle, you can clip under the ground and slide down the tree to land in the water, and then you can swim around out of the castle boundaries, even where the water ends. If you jump out you’ll fall and lose a life, and it’s possible to swim so far out of bounds that the castle disappears, though you can swim back to it.
1:03 got me for a second. I just overclocked my PC and I've had that happen a few times because of an unstable overclock, I was worried I'd have to tweak it again.

That is super silly. What happens when you swim to the loading trigger as mario? Does is just load the next area as it should?
Not even sure that’s possible, it seems more likely that the ray would always get there first, would be difficult to get Mario there first

What happens if Mario swims to the end of the tunnel without sending the ray in before ?
I imagine one of two things either the game crashes or you are magically on top of the ray again after the screen transition and race start as normal.
Are you playing this on the Wii version?
You can see the Wii Remote controller prompt at 0:47, so he could be on a Wii or on a Wii U vWii

Because of exactly that reason, I wanted to create daily content, and it was blowing peoples sub feeds up. If you came here and subscribed, that was your choice. But this is daily content, and its not stuff I've covered before.
