I know this is a year old video but wanted to say I had fun watching you both just having fun with the game and the funny banter. Found myself smiling the whole time while learning how to play the game. My favorite board game channel for sure. Thanks Brothers Murph. :D
That companion dragon really killed the editing on this playthrough 🔥 give them some meat slabs as a raise from us, the viewers!
I have been interested in this game and even seen another playthrough. After watching this I went out and picked it up. My local game shop owner even says he's heard great things about it but hasn't had a chance to play it yet. My daughter is super excited and will be playing it this weekend. I would recommend following the player aid for each move so you don't miss steps. As yeah you guys did miss getting goods, activating dragons/shop abilities several times.

Ok...watched whole thing. So it obviously played well enough with 2, But I'm guessing 3/4 is the sweet spot?
Great game and a fun playthrough! If I'm being honest, though, the intentional mispronunciations got a bit thick for me on this one. Used sometimes it's a fun quirk, but this time it was frequent enough to grate.
Thanks for the playthrough, though! Loved that you used the gold enchantments over the purple so we can see the more advanced version.
We were just being our silly selves but can appreciate that those things that make us laugh won't always be everyone's cup of tea :) glad you enjoyed the playthrough!
A Final Turn scoring error by Nick. When playing Ajax, and only having 2 anvils, you cannot receive the 3 point bonus that you gave yourself.. You must have at least 3 anvils.

Love this game - I didn’t realise you gathered resources when you enchanted a shop though! I thought it was just enchant and fire up! Did you guys teach me something? 😮

@@TheBrothersMurph ahh I don’t think you did do it in play, but it was mentioned in the overview that you “give out resources as normal.” 1.57 ish?

Fell really flat for me. A pretty mediocre game, IMO, hyped by how "cute" it is.
It’s definitely gateway level which I think is actually a really good thing as a game with this kind of appeal of production has the chance to bring a lot of people in and then they won’t be so overwhelmed because the game is easy to get into. So it’s on the quite light side for us but super glad it exists for those reasons stated
@@TheBrothersMurph Respectfully disagree. This is light for gamers but no way I would play this with grandma like I could with something like Ticket to Ride or Kingdomino.

I believe he did? If I remember correctly from when we filmed it, he remembered to use his companion a little late, so maybe it just didn’t make the edit. But I’m also a new dad, so I don’t really remember anything from more than five minutes ago.
