Once again Ken looks like an early threat with his betting background and understanding of probability. But logic is no match for the chaotic nonsense of Board Game Club.

Meant to say this last week but thankfully they usually record multiple episodes at once but I love Tilly! She’s been a really great recent addition to the channel since the Sheriff of Nottingham episode and I’ve been happy to see her back multiple times since. Love the leather jacket she’s wearing in these last 2 episodes btw!

Love this game! Sad that the second edition box art lost out on the Camel Cup pun though. I'm guessing they found that no one knowing what the game was actually called bombarded their search results.
I can only say this so emphatically: your club plays ALL of my favorite games. And I am so happy to see them all played - they’re all so social and generate laughter every time. Bring on condotierre!

There are quite a number of "youngest first" games out there. I don't think anyone would be bothered by deciding on another way of starting.
My first time seeing Camel Up played, so thanks for choosing it. The game is a little more complex in strategy that I suspected. Might be fun for my group. Speaking of groups, more laughs from all, including Sully's singing after everyone stops... twice. Once again, Adam attempts to ride away on a camel with Brooke's boyfriend -- what else is new? And some brilliant betting strategy from Lord Dom Handlebar Bifocals, if by brilliant you mean 'minus'. The dreaded chalkboard shall not be denied!
I just got this game for my birthday and was so confused on how to play it, then this episode comes out! Perfect timing and a great episode!!!
If you're confused with these rules , I'd recommend snakes and ladders.

The box to my version was really unclear if this game was called "Camel Up" or "Camel Cup". Had many arguments on the name.
So I don't know it isn't likely, and I'm not sure it's even possible, but would a camel win if it rides a crazy camel from start back behind the line and then crosses the finish line, or does it have to make a full lap?

So if there are going to be 50 or so Board Game Club games this year, and Adam’s losses ever tick over 29, it is mathematically impossible for him to get 19 more wins. That is only if there are going to be more than 50 episodes. Let’s say there are 52, one for each week of the year, if Adam ever gets 31 losses, it is over. I love Adam as much as the next guy, but right now, his chances of winning at least 22 Board Game Clubs are about as high as him marrying Keith Lee.
I guess a lot depends on their choice of games. When they do some of the quick play party games, there are multiple games per episode which in theory gives Adam a chance to boost his score quickly. Even so, very doubtful he makes his target.
@@johnj2784 I know he reads the comments, his You People heel promo from LotB proves that, and I genuinely don’t like seeing him lose, but I’ve long since been awaiting his day of reckoning for constantly shitting on Monopoly, one of my favourite board games.

Quick rules question. Do the cheer/boo tiles not stay in place until the owner takes another action to move them. I didn't think they were removed each leg.

I could have sworn camels always go on top of the pile when they move into a square 😅 there was a time when the black crazy camel went on the bottom of purple and blue instead of the top of the pile, and when yellow went under white instead of on top of white...
@@arandombard1197 I just did, it says if a camel unit (single or stack) ends it's movement on a space where there is another camel unit, it jumps on top. A crazy camel is still a camel unit, so it jumps on top when going backwards, it doesn't go to the bottom of the stack... Confirmed by a thread on BGG in Dec 2020 too 🤷♂️
its because it ended on that tile because it landed on one of the +/- cards (the cheer or boo ones).

It's almost..... ALMOST like inviting a professional poker player to a betting game AFTER playing a simpler betting game to warm him up, in the shape of Skull, turned out to be a BAD IDEA!!!
I like Ken but he's a little too strategic especially in a goofy game like this. I would like to see him in more of a strategy game

This game has come a long way from the original printing. If you're looking for something with less rules to remember, grab the original edition, not this version.
You should gone with Long Shot, not saying Camel Up isn't any good though
I agree Long Shot the Dice Game is really good. Very similar but more strategic.
