    You actually can refill the hub without the drain plug. Fill the cap up with oil and tip it up onto the hub quickly and screw it in. You might spill a small amount, but it actually works pretty well

    Do you know where I can buy gaskets for the cap. Mine seems to be leaking

      Bad oring in front or bad seal in the rear.
      Find what side the leak is.

    Can you use 75-140 gear oil

      Honestly it may be a little thick especially in cold climates.
      Most call for 90 or a little less. Maybe check with manufacturer

    The air WILL escape as long as that oil tube isn’t screwed into the hub. It would have to be air tight in order for air not to escape.
