We don’t see the damage to the vessels that run underneath. The only people who know if he would have serviced without treatment would be the team that treated him at the hospital. The other thing your not considering is what does shock do to the body? Emotional shock of the event can effect how the person responds to the injury. The officer 100% helped prevent him from going into shock. As to not seeing much blood on the video. The chest cavity can hold quite a bit before it will started leaking out of the entrance. What you don’t see is the exit would and whether it’s lower on the back. My guess is that it may have been depending on the angle. Your judgement based on three words without evaluating all possibilities is how some people would not make it because they think they know it all.
