Your justice system will never treat people equally for the simple reason that your politicians don't treat the rest of the world equally. So how do you expect your justice system to treat everybody equally?

You’re absolutely right-this story really puts a spotlight on the crucial need for fairness in every part of society, especially the courtroom. It’s so easy to forget that people often face unconscious bias simply because of their appearance or background. But what stood out to me in Sarah’s story wasn’t just the injustice she faced, but the way she carried herself-she didn’t let that moment define her. She *owned* it. Great that this was shown throughout the communities.😊 I really hope this is done for others concerning the law systems.
An Extremely proud moment for me as i read this. I pray the judge realizes his wrong(most white powerful folks don't). Thanks Pateo for sharing this story. Thanks for the court stenographer as well for taking notes and writing them down.
This is like when two cops stopped a state’s attorney asked her why her tags didn’t show a registration and who is she? When she said state’s attorney, they started back peddling and told her she was no longer detained. She says give me your business card. They made excuses as to why they didn’t have them. She wrote down their names and badge numbers.😮😮
False. Police officers, in general, do not carry business cards. Most have a number on their badge for all to see and a name tag. For common names, like Jones, Smith, officers usually have their first, and even middle initial included on their name tag. Other departments, like the one in which I was employed, use computer numbers as a means of identification. When asked, they are required to provide it.
@@DennisYoungSr. that’s funny every time I ask for their number they give me a contact card. Weather is this card with their name directly. It does have the number and name to the station every police officer of all over this nation as a consultant has a contact card. Just stop it.
Wow, that’s a perfect example of how people’s behavior can change when they realize they’re dealing with someone of authority. It’s disturbing how quickly they backpedaled once she identified herself, yet they still tried to avoid accountability by not providing their business cards. It’s a clear reminder that certain individuals may act one way when they think they can get away with it, but everything changes when they know they’re being held accountable. Do you think this happens more often than we realize, or is it just a rare case?
Being born in ATL in 1949, I watched the civil rights movement move thru the South. Sara Collins story here warms my heart. I am so glad she made a difference. Sara brought necessary change.
Hi from India. I am an attorney practising in New Delhi, India. I am amazed at this story. Is this really a true story. It is really a powerful and moving story and what a democracy and rule of law and equality before the law is all about . As in US, we in India and have similar situations daily and numbers are huge considering that India is the most populous country in the world
This is so great! Yes, bias might continue for a while, but people like Sarah will one day come up to tip the scale of justice and shine the light on that thing that isn't right.
POWERFUL! Thank you Sarah Collins for your courage in standing up to this unfair cruel judge! God bless you mightily in all areas of your life! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This story resonated deeply with me, not just because of Sarah’s courage but because it exposes a truth many of us know but rarely see addressed so boldly: systemic bias in the justice system. The judge’s initial behavior-dismissing Sarah without considering her credentials-was both infuriating and sadly predictable. How often are judgments made based on appearance, race, or gender rather than merit? What stood out to me most was Sarah’s grace under pressure. She didn’t lash out; instead, she strategically turned the situation into an opportunity to challenge inequality. Her decision to document the proceedings and bring systemic bias to light was not just brave; it was groundbreaking. It reminds us that real change often begins with one person willing to speak out, even in a room full of silence. This story isn’t just about Sarah or the judge-it’s about all of us. How can we ensure that institutions designed to protect justice don’t perpetuate injustice? What actions can we take, in our own spheres, to hold those in power accountable? I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on this. Have you ever faced or witnessed similar situations? How did you handle it?
The system needs an overseer, accountability, or a place where departments can be reported to whom will take the right type of justice. Same stories of injustice are everywhere. Sadly, most of the time, people turn a blind eye.
Thank you Ms. Sarah Collins, for your courage and your professionalism. Confronting the entitled, white male establishment needs to be exposed. These next years will be crucial for the respect of our system of justice, not for white people but for all who seek equal justice, especially for women.
The judicial systemic bias is not unconscious. It is sheer arrogance and abuse of power. The judge felt he was above the law. His "humble" response was his way of saving himself. He should be held financially responsible to pay back all of his defendant victims he gave maximum fines based on race and appearance.
Sad to say, not all judges are the same. There are some who are just and fair. There are some we respect and love and there are others we curse because of corruption and misdeeds.
This case emphasizes the need for judicial accountability. Bias training and independent oversight in courts can prevent discrimination and create a fairer system where justice is truly blind to race, gender, or socioeconomic status.
It’s sad that this is a work of fiction and not actually true. I wish so hard that this will come to happen in real life. A very powerful and strengthening tale. Thank you.
An even bigger surprise to learn that she knew the timeline and race of all the people who arrived late before her, as well as the judge's reaction or lack thereof. I'm calling BS, and blocking yet another robo-voiced fiction channel.

Discrimination is illegal in the States, too, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen or stops it from happening. I'm sure the same is true for Australia.
Racism is still very alive, every black person, it doesn’t matter if you’re professional😮, educated or humble, you will be judged. We have all been there, we always have to show proof of our professionalism, very sad but very true.White ppl have been getting whatever they want because of that color, qualified or not. Then they say black people are angry, we’re not angry just tired of being discriminated, this story gives all of us hope….Love it💕🙏🏽
Quite strange that almost always the real reasons for the existence of power abuse is not noticed. In this instance it is the silence of the office clerk who, albeit having documented years of abuse, has always remained silent until someone else opens the can of worms. And this behavior is the result of the American Judiciary system, where office clerks are not forced by an oath to report every breaking of the law, no matter how futile and no matter who is the culprit. As long as these witnesses have no authority the abuse will be continued.
The Federal Prosecutor KNEW avenue through which to argue and seek investigation. The Clerk and Baliff noticed but felt powerless, not knowing with whom or where their reports would be taken seriously. Who will be believed? Much like the Chicago PD detective who was torturing confessions out of people but the defendants were never believed to have an oversight or investigation begun.
The judge is responsible for his own behavior. The court officers knew the risk they faced for reporting misbehavior. Especially in Atlanta, where prejudice passes unchallenged, and where even federal officials are willing to flaunt policy.
It feels like we are moving backwards instead of forward. I'm a white senior and live with seniors and so many are, if nothing else, closet racists. I think young people are more open, I pray they are

Thank you, atty Thomas. Justice is not Black, White,Brown. Atty Thomas could have been white or Brown. Justice is about respect and justice for all. The judge has been on the bench too long. @adirayasharahla984 youre missing the point.. what makes you think he doesn't believe in GOD? He was just talking about a PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Federal courts should also be investigating bias in their decisions!
Duh.. white law white justice
How I wish that was a TRUE story. It occurs all the time. Not just with judges. Prosecuting attorneys as well. This leads back to the police department. As they know which attorneys to use because of their record.
The Justice System is not about fairness, it is all about control.
@@john1703 TRUE. This is some of the signs Artificial intelligence says the justice system is part of a police state that is controlling us. Police utilizing military equipment and Surveillance cameras everywhere is another. Are we there????
Whether this is an actual true story or not IT IS A TRUE STORY!!!!!!
A LOT OF NON WHITE PEOPLE HAVE AND STILL DO EXPERIENCE THIS TYPE OF BULLSH*T IN COURTROOMS AND HELL FRANKLY IN EVERYDAY LIFE FOR THAT MATTER. THEY'RE ALWAYS BEING JUDGED BY THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN OR THEIR STATUS IN SOCIETY.
it is against people who can’t afford an attorney regardless of skin color
@@sassygrace9762 I cannot believe you really believe that. With all the slaps on the hands white people receive for killing us in the streets. Are you paying attention to social media news? You will not see it on mainstream news.
The most interesting well written piece I have read on TH-cam in a long long time.
I'm glad Sara stood her ground. Now, since what happened a few weeks ago. I pray that all of us stand up for our rights and, above all, band together. Otherwise, we are in for a bumpy ride. I do know that the God we serve has never left us yet!
Always blessed.
K. Wilson❤
But what has he done for us?
*This story powerfully highlights the importance of equality and fairness in every courtroom. No one should be judged by their appearance, and justice must remain impartial to race.*
and to poor people who can’t afford an attorney no matter their skin color. I am white and I’ve been discriminated against because I couldn’t afford an attorney.
And gender
I love hearing this; her giving him time to say whatever he wanted to say, no matter who she was & didn't even give her a chance to speak, after she was able to speak; she let him know in proof who she was . I really applaud her not just for her but for others; that he would have to think about how he treated others from that day forward.
It sure is. I doubt he would realize his wrongdoing because for him it isn't wrong.
Being professional there can be no compromise on equal justice for all when it comes to the damning of a racial judicial bias of racism.
how about people who can’t afford an attorney regardless of skin color?
YOU GO SISTA GIRRRRLL! With ya badd self!!
It is written that soon the wicked will be no more! God's justice is coming on wicked mankind !!
U are right this will be God war on mankind
This should be apart of EVERY court & law school!
Yess I watched that video several times. ❤
Maybe you work for a tiny town. Police officers do have business cards. Many are jerks and just say they don’t have any on their person at the time.
Being born in ATL in 1949, I watched the civil rights movement move thru the South. Sara Collins story here warms my heart. I am so glad she made a difference. Sara brought necessary change.
not for poor people who can’t afford an attorney
Hi from India. I am an attorney practising in New Delhi, India. I am amazed at this story. Is this really a true story. It is really a powerful and moving story and what a democracy and rule of law and equality before the law is all about . As in US, we in India and have similar situations daily and numbers are huge considering that India is the most populous country in the world
From other comments, it appears it is not true
This is a brilliant piece as narrated. It reflects the poor environmental conditions people of color undergo.
But the narration left a lot to be desired.
@ I am sure, not perfect but brilliant literature material.
I am so proud of you ti stand up for all of us we’re all human don’t look at colors. Blood is red for everyone. Blessings your way…❤❤❤❤
poor people regardless of color are discriminated against because they can’t afford an attorney
God's timing is right on time. I'm so proud of you and your professionalism. Great job!
Excellent presentation, and a wonderful example of what can happen when you stand for the truth.
especially poor people who can’t afford an attorney
I tip my hat to Sarah. But be carful with the new USA administration and politics. Things will change again...
Thank you, Sara Collins.
Good for her, in small town it's who I know, poor white people r treated as bad as poor black people, justice is about how much money u got
Sadly, with the recent political party victories, I wonder how much longer the Center for Judicial Education and Equality Training will last.
📜✨CONGRATULATIONS MS SARA!!✨📜
Stand up for what is right even if your left standing alone.
I have been told to shut up by judges because I couldn’t afford an attorney and I am white.
The system needs an overseer, accountability, or a place where departments can be reported to whom will take the right type of justice.
Same stories of injustice are everywhere.
Sadly, most of the time, people turn a blind eye.
I agree because I have a lot to report in my own cases
Thank you Ms. Sarah Collins, for your courage and your professionalism. Confronting the entitled, white male establishment needs to be exposed. These next years will be crucial for the respect of our system of justice, not for white people but for all who seek equal justice, especially for women.
That v very powerful a very wise and brave young woman.God bless her
Good job, Ms Collins 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
This is needed in every courtroom in America
This is one reason we need to have cameras in all courts including SCOTUS!
Especially SCOTUS
💪🏾
The judicial systemic bias is not unconscious. It is sheer arrogance and abuse of power. The judge felt he was above the law. His "humble" response was his way of saving himself. He should be held financially responsible to pay back all of his defendant victims he gave maximum fines based on race and appearance.
WOW1!!! OUTSTANDING< WAY TO GO SARAH!!!!! TREMENDOUS, GREAT STORY, THANK YOU!!!!
Our youth are our future, we must nurture and support them at all costs!!.
Sad to say, not all judges are the same. There are some who are just and fair. There are some we respect and love and there are others we curse because of corruption and misdeeds.
Exposed in the most perfect way! Took 12+ years but exposed finally in multiple ways.
Time for a total change!!
Love this story ‼️🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
It's endemic in every country in the world
Enjoyed this very much.we must remember the past and improve when ever we can.
What a good domino effect on the justice system.
This case emphasizes the need for judicial accountability. Bias training and independent oversight in courts can prevent discrimination and create a fairer system where justice is truly blind to race, gender, or socioeconomic status.
poor people are discriminated against even white people. I know firsthand because I was told to shut up by judges.
It’s sad that this is a work of fiction and not actually true. I wish so hard that this will come to happen in real life. A very powerful and strengthening tale. Thank you.
He should be Fired!
I ought
Their pensions should also be taken away as punishment.
its not real, all made up crap, to put blacks against whites.
America is built on evil and corruption.
These devils don't care about pensions. They are about to get beyond wealthy! on your taxes. Stay tuned.
Amen, they should lose their pension. !!!!!

I'm proud of the wonderful black lady!
This was awesome!! ❤
Wow, I bet that was a surprise to that judge, to find out that she was the prosecutor. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
An even bigger surprise to learn that she knew the timeline and race of all the people who arrived late before her, as well as the judge's reaction or lack thereof. I'm calling BS, and blocking yet another robo-voiced fiction channel.
and couldn't even pronounce 'read' properly 😅@@fooclark2156
Show them better than you can tell you 🖤👑
We don’t need to be validated because we were at home. We learn how to show up in this muddy water world & smile 🙂
In Australia it is illegal for anyone who disrciminate against anyone else.
Discrimination is illegal in the States, too, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen or stops it from happening. I'm sure the same is true for Australia.
Australia is not different. Where Anglo-Saxon descents have settled it's hell for black people.
Australia is not different.
Robertfindley9000, its illegal here in the US, but unfortunately, it happens here ALL the time......
Please what about the aboriginals they never get fair treatment its their LAND!
In Australia you can't protect yourself or your family, they took all your guns away.
That is why anonymous tip lines to gather incidents for statistics & analysis... & hopefully action!!
I think young people are more open, I pray they are
A Jewish friend’s last name was White. She married a Jewish man named Cohen. The Bible records 6000 years ago the Cohens were one of the twelve tribes of Israel. She noticed a change in how she was treated in some places having a recognized Jewish last name.
They need to do this in Michigan
Congratulations, we need more peoples like you to stand up for justice!!❤
Alas, one need look no further than the results of our November 5th national election to observe how alive and well racism prevails in America.
Thank you, atty Thomas. Justice is not Black, White,Brown. Atty Thomas could have been white or Brown. Justice is about respect and justice for all. The judge has been on the bench too long. He let his power overrule him. The judge became racist. Racism has no place in our justice system . Thanks for bringing this to the open Facebook
Proud of her
He tried to humiliate her, but he was the one who was humiliated by her composer and professionalism
Do you mean composure?
Nobody should be above the law in any civilised country, not even a federal prosecutor.
True but what are you saying?
Let's not forget this incident. Equal for All or Nothing. All Uglyness, Discrimination, and HATE will be exposed. Every STORY Matters and the fear to not share by courtroom staff is awful✊🏽
Great hearing...fairness , truth and equal justice practice, can take up to !! 40 years to be put into practice,!!!
Needs only one brave person,at the right time/ place😂
Good day my name is Devon Brown I am from Jamaica. The only thing that I can say is wow, wow this is so beautiful I LOVE IT
I know a wicked judge in Prince George’s County. Be careful who you mistreat. Karma is real.
some awful people never receive karma
Like this one a lot. Reminds me of when I had to deal with a racist judge whos son was the towns boyscout rapist. And the whole town knew it. This judge and his officers hated black people and would give out humongous finds.
Well said
As a 63 year-old African American nurse living in South Carolina, I have personally witnessed, and routinely experienced, reprehensible acts of blatant systemic racism. I am so proud of, and am eternally grateful for, men and women of color who use their professions as a platform to courageously draw attention to these ongoing injustices.
What about UNFAIR TREATMENT against NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS !!!!😢
The story teller can keep you glued to listen to anything.
I enjoyed both the story and the voice's teller
It is all made from AI. The story and the voice. Nothing, not a single thing is truthful or real in this video or any of the other videos on this channel. And, there are many more channels with the same sorts of videos. We are being taken advantage of.
We need her and more like her in Akron Ohio where judges are allowed to be bias it's so obvious..I can't even get my court appointed attorney to file motions asked to file to put it on record they refuse to call it out..we need help here..they gives wyts probation or programs blacks get prison and fines ..they say they under investigation but I can't tell
This should be a movie!
