UE Vegeta Vs UI Goku, is ultra ego vegeta stronger than MUI Goku? Who is stronger Goku or Vegeta
With the new arc of Dragon Ball Super coming in DBS Manga Chapter 101 we will once again see Goku and Vegeta try to break their limits.
But given the likes of Black Frieza, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo all catching them up.

We already know that Ultra Instinct doesn't work against significantly stronger opponents which is why someone like Whis can still land hits on Ultra Instinct Goku... Or all the times UI Goku got hit against Granola, Gas, Moro, etc...

It makes sense for Vegeta to utilize his Yardrat training, more specifically the healing ability and combine it with his ultra ego. He’ll be OP and unbeatable if he achieves that
but if the damage is too much then he simply cant heal after all the healing ability has its own limits and then ultra instinct comes to play, if goku used the mastered ultra instinct then ill assure you that even if he manages to knock goku out he will activate it without being concious just like what happened with gas and as shown the whole energy version of himself (the susano idk the whole energy spirit) would absolutely destroy vegeta but if it doesnt activate its over for goku , but if goku uses omen then its a 50 / 50 because ui omen is true ui for those who dont know

I think Vegeta is technically the strongest as his transformation relies on getting beaten. However, Vegeta has an obvious limit meaning if Goku took advantage of that he could also win. People mistake Ultra Ego as a form of invincibility, but it's really there just to help Vegeta last longer as long as he learns how to be more defensive while also learning how to be a more competent fighter.
MUI also has an obvious limit, it burns more stamina just to keep it active. In the late game Ego wins because in theory, Ego will be at its strongest while MUI will be running out of gas. Ego is a more stable form.

If they were to become rivals with Beerus, this would mean they would climb towards his real power. They’ll be on par with beerus. Potentially winning against a serious sparing match against Beerus. I can’t believe I had to break my simple comment down.
A lot of people say Ultra Instinct is a better fighting style but what I often see people over look is that in terms of long term growth in power Ultra Ego is perfect for a sayian because it essentially will always result in them getting a massive senkai boost, where as Ultra Instinct is the opposite, by avoiding damage they won't get the additional senkai.
It would be perfect for like the brolys or cumber not vegeta that form for him is no good he sucks at it

From what I saw, Granolah was far far more impressed with Vegeta in UE than Goku MUI silvered hair form, he even had more trouble. TUI is stronger, however this is Vegeta first time going UE. It's very close.

TUI MAY have been stronger (arguable) but that's only because Vegeta didn't have another round after Goku unlocked TUI. If both keep getting senzu beans and fighting, Ultra Ego will leave UI in the dust. If Vegeta had another round after Goku unlocked TUI, Vegeta would've surpassed

Of TUI beats UE then MUI beate UE . As MUI wasn't as good in the granola saga as he couldn't control his emotions. But in the recent chapter, Goku is calmer in MUI now. So he can use it at full power
I realistically see this as a stomp for vegeta. Goku most likely can’t generate enough damage to put down vegeta before his desire to fight and pride amps him up so much that goku could not touch him. The real down fall is that we know how much Vegeta enjoys fighting goku so if he’s getting amped to all hell agains random enemies imagine how amped he would get against goku.

A big misconception about UE is that vegeta needs to get beaten in order to get stronger, which ain't true. Fighting feeds his spirit, but if he gets into the mindset of destruction he will get stronger without being damaged.
I agree that in a fight, ultra ego vegeta is more likely to win as well. From what we saw, ultra ego can literally be activated at any point, even in a severely weakened state like he did against granola. True ultra instinct and mastered ultra instinct unlike vegetas directly correlate to stamina and drain gokus stamina over time. So, goku is constantly on a timer with his current ultra instinct mastery having to beat his foe before his stamina runs out. While vegetas form from what we have seen has little impact on stamina and he can keep it activated for far longer and get stronger for every blow he takes with the drawback being that if he takes to much damage he will fall. So, if they are both relative to one another than goku is likely losing more often than vegeta in a battle.
Goku is just a better fighter in general...
And he's achieved a point where he can activate UI at any given time

If Vegeta can get rid of his flaw and fight while calm he would be greater than Goku. They are on the same level as Super Hero had base Vegeta edge out Goku so it's pretty clear you are bias towards Goku.
Vegeta has done things without as much help as Goku has gotten. Why couldn't Goku get the hold of spirit control he even admits it was difficult for him. You can come up with whatever excuse you want but they are on the same level and Vegeta is naturally more gifted.

So Goku edges out Vegeta many times in the past because of how Vegeta fights and doesn't remain calm to manage his power better. That's why in Super Hero he is trying to use the relaxed state method that Jiren can use so he can better control his power and ki. This shows when Vegeta edges out Goku so how is Goku a better fighter when skill wise they on the same level of not Vegeta is slightly better thanks to having more talent.

I believe it does since the ultra ego vegeta that put absolute fear into gas before passing out that true ultra instinct goku was able to compete with. Literally goes on to fight basically equally with true ultra instinct goku at the end of the arc against an even stronger gas before black frieza comes and one shots everyone. If that is the case that literally means that every time vegeta goes into ultra ego it's multiplier gets bigger and his baseline strength in ultra ego before taking damage increases.

Also MUI is more of a defensive and pacifist type of state. So Goku trying to land the first hit may cause trouble in his control of the MUI state. So Vegeta has the upper hand.

@@josephrosa5293 Yes, but Goku can't use silver UI properly. TUI is basically in the middle of Ultra Instinct Sign and Mastered Ultra Instict. It's just a weaker version of MUI but it's easier to use and control.

It seems baseless. Since it was literally shown silver hair UI failing to defeat gas as he powered up. Yet Omen + His emotions aiding him did better vs gas who was stronger than the one he just fought as FULL UI
Fights not close. Vegeta would never use it in battle and especially against “Kakarot”, but his spirit fission will always give him the upper hand.

One aspect of ultra ego stomps ultra instinct:
The AOE flames. Either Goku is going to have to beam spam and dodge then go in for a finishing powerful counter or it ends badly for Goku. Once the flames touch him, he's going to get damaged out of ultra instinct.
Goku will be victorious when him and Vegeta fight, Tui and Mui has more potential and Vegeta himself knows that he won’t be able too keep up with Goku in the long run.
We never saw Ultra Ego winning a fight....
Goku would win as if Vegeta even plans to use an attack against Goku and Goku is losing Goku has many techniques under his non existent sleeve.

Meh...Vegeta is weaker. No one can say Vegeta is stronger with a form he hasn't even properly trained yet. Goku has had U.I for 3 arcs now and he has gotten stronger with the transformation. Vegeta just got the form and his form is a double-edged sword. Yes, you get stronger the more the opponent beats you, BUT at the same time your body gets physically weaker and you can't continue the fight. Another misconception people (Vegeta fans) have about U.I. is that Goku only gets a power boost + the trait of avoiding attacks. That is farther from the truth as in reality it has been established that U.I. keeps getting stronger and faster the more it fights and its only true downside is that it burns a lot of energy...that's it. Vegeta will have a hard time trying to land a hit on Goku but not otherwise, as a result Vegeta's body will get weaker so Goku takes the W. The only TRUE scenario where Vegeta could win is if Vegeta outlast Goku.

Vegetas the only character in DB who doesnt need to actually perform in battle in order to get ridiculously overrated. In that final panel where Gas covers up, what I see is Vegeta charging at Gas at a leisurely 20 miles per hour, and then stopping and landing on his feet and then posing , keeping his arm out there. holding that position before he falls over.
We know he's posing and going very slowly cos all the momentum of his flight would still be there if he was going fast and he'd barrel rush Gas whether he went back into base or not. He'd still hit Gas like a missile if he was going fast.
Imma disagree because anyone flying that fast can still be stopped. Literally happened in the movie goku charged at broly. Broly grabbed his hand stopped his momentum and beat the shit out of him. Why because he was stronger. Gas didn’t do that gas was literally terrified of what vegeta was gonna do and decided to brace for the damage.

So the damage that he takes, it makes his attacks more offensive, the damage that he gets, he puts it to his attack which is very op, as we know characters in dbs their speed is increased by their power

From what weve seen its a draw. Vegetas UE is built to take damage and deal damage but gokus ui is built to dodge and be precise. Not to mention he also has the technique version of UI that doestt require stamina
Given how they are writing these characters they are on par with each other and the fight would go down to the last punch
ngl the version of UI is not keeping up in the slightest with UE LMAO so the only way he can even if it out is with the other two and those are just quite frankly getting outlasted due to the nature of UE
The technique variant of UI also isn't THAT good. It only buffs his Saiyan forms' speeds, and doesn't provide any additional raw power amps. Only really good for fighting an opponent of similar power. SSJB:UI Goku would get SMOKED in one shot by UE Vegeta.

see ui is speed and presicion whiIe ue is pure brute force it's a perfect antithisis for both of them imo
Tui goku wins and if goku could use the silver haired version he used against gas after being beaten in his tui form that version of goku would win even easier. But without that goku still has IT, god bind, healing, giant ki form, barrier creation around himself and others and his barrier is able to tank attacks from stronger people than him and he's able to use telekenesis on it, and cloning. Goku can also fine tune his moves as he fights and is able to get automatically sturdier as neccessary and goku can also fire a mouth blast.
Which would more than likely do a crazy amount of damage on ue vegeta and if goku needs a breather he could always put up a barrier and heal himself while ue vegeta would still keep his damage and sustain even more damage. Goku could also put vegeta in a barrier and toss him into space. Use IT to bfr vegeta and leave him stranded somewhere. Or create clones then put him in god bind and hit vegeta with multiple kamehamehas or mouth blasts. Goku can also amp his strikes up with his ki. Ehh you are leaving out a key aspect of how Ultra Ego works, Vegeta said he gets stronger the more he strengthens his fighting spirit. Literally this is the phrase he uses in the 75th chapter of DBS, then the v-jump guides also said this about the form. Receiving damage is just a way to ignite one's fighting spirit and not the actual action of transformation, if Vegeta wanted to fight differently he would have based the igniting of his fighting spirit on the sheer excitement of being in a tough fight.
Ultra Instinct is an insane form for an incredible fighter like Goku. Ultra Ego, however, is just broken. It also makes sense as to why the goalposts are constantly moved in regard to Beerus' strength. People latch on to the "Goku ssg is a 6 and Beerus is a 10" comment by Toriyama, they believe that Goku should've caught up by now. If Beerus has access to Ultra Ego this makes sense as he is always a 10 and every mortal is a 6 to him, no matter how strong they are due to his mastery of Ultra Ego presumably. Ultra Ego makes you stronger relative to your opponent's strength, a truly OP transformation.
There is nothing to disagree with. You're using logic to assess what would happen. Your best point of reference was literally them fighting in their base from on Beerus planet. Vegeta won because it came down to a battle of attrition. Whis even pointed it out to Goku. Ultra Instinct or Ego hacks and boosts do not change the fact for what matters the most, "BASE". Whis said this from the first time he trained them in Revival of F. So based on what is stated in the show arc, the result is that Vegeta would win by a hair in the end, as shown as an example in Super Hero on Beerus planet.

If vageta has really good defense he could definitely outlast goku since his transformation isn’t on a timer like goku.
With what we see and hear about UI, there isn't really a reason to think Vegeta beats Goku. He literally ends the Granolah arc admitting Goku is stronger than him. But even aside from that Goku is using the superior technique according to Whis, Beerus' teacher and he has more experience with it .

What I see going on is that vegeta and goku But mostly vegeta is starting to actually be able to use they ultra power in they base which for vegeta makes him incredibly dangerous because if he could have the mindset of destruction in base and use it as fuel to keep fighting in base he could make his base power output be the same as super saiyan blue if he increase his durability. And then he can continue transforming and do the same thing basically making him hard to defeat. The only downfall which I believe would be necessary is that the more transformation he goes into the deeper he falls into destruction so by the time he gets to ultra ego he’s mostly thinking of destroying you but there’s a little part of him inside that’s telling him it’s not necessary but if u push him more and show to be too evil and would never change your ways he will fall deeper into destruction and enter the master stage. Yes Vegeta could get stronger as the battle progresses but the problem is how it happens Vegeta would have to throw himself at the mercy of ultra instincts brutal blows just to gain a power boost this is just as much of a gamble as it is for Goku.True ultra instincts battle power was able cripple Gas after he laid out Vegeta meaning that true ultra instinct Goku definitely has the power to take Vegeta down before he gets too strong if Vegeta is careless. So even if Vegeta could grow stronger by getting hit he would still have to GET HIT which means dropping his guard and having ultra instinct Goku which is a more precise attacker than ultra ego the chance punish Vegeta so I think it's still 50/50 there is a big sacrifice on both end it could go either way

The Orange Piccolo statement was in regards to Blue Goku and Vegeta not their upper forms, and Cell Max was stated to be stronger than Broly, we can assume the one from the movie, so in reality Gohan is stronger than UE Vegeta only in base, and is stronger but is definitely slower than MUI Goku xd.
As for UV vs MUI, Goku would be winning for the start of the fight but eventually Vegeta will close the gap in speed due to his ever growing power and possibly defeat MUI Goku. It won't be an easy fight that is for sure however.

in terms of raw power / power potential. i’m going to give it to vegeta. goku’s technique is what really gives him the edge. UE can and will surpass UI in terms of power in a head to head match. Even if goku dodges him he can’t dodge forever and if someone is as fast as you can match UI nd even tag it as we seen from jiren in the TOP.
