My two least favorite things about the show:
1) Ling's maddening invincibility throughout the second half of the show (Trust me, these vulgar titles will become increasingly appropriate as you watch on)
2) Jia's sudden and inexplicable descent into utter stupidity after Ruyi's ascension
While I understand that the writer had to make these choices to square the circle with historical facts, it's a shame that the second half of the show was thrown off balance as a result.

Ling's a bih period point blank. But Jin Yuyan, IDK, maybe because she's Korean and the only thing that matters to her most is Joseon and her beloved Joseon King. Also, too much obsession over something can make people crazy. All in all, I would prefer Yuyan over Bitch Wanyan any day.
I think it's very important to note that Jin Yuyan also doesn't have Zhenshu as a maid by her side anymore. Zhenshu has been her primary maid in carrying out Jia's plans. Without her, Jia essentially lost a strong arm.
@@Mei_I_Know_Aaron Zhenshu was basically Yuyan's only real friend and ally from Joseon.
