It's pretty sad when you think about it: out of all of Hongli's original wives before he became the emperor, only Ruyi, Hailan and Wan Ying are left. Although Wan Ying didn't really hang out with Ruyi's group, now that Chun has died, Ruyi and Hailan are her only original companions left in the family.

Did you guys see emperor in this version is not a good gentleman, he treats respective consorts like trash, I don't know if that really happens in real Qianlong, perhaps this controversy has delayed the airing of series.

He deserved it BUT too bad the truth won’t come out then to give her death sentence until too late, when Ruyi is gone and Qianlong woke up an old dying dead man. Ha!!
