Definitely agree with you again man on your opinions and your favourites! Gotham central is without question a great read and with Rucka and Brubaker how can you go wrong? The Doom Patrol omnibus is awesome and I was lucky enough to find it for $40 in mint condition on the FB marketplace. Just a couple that stand out to me as my favourites of my collection for one would be the New 52 Batman and Robin omnibus. To me besides Snyder’s Batman this book was excellent from beginning to end. The writing is PERFECT as Pete Tomasi is extremely underrated and he made me actually care about Damian as a character and I loved the relationship between him and Bruce. The dialogue free issue dealing with the aftermath of Damian’s death brought tears to my eyes and I don’t remember the last time a comic did that before or since. I also agree with you on your choice of X-men as all those stories were favourites of my childhood especially mutant massacre and the outback era. I only wish marvel would collect Ann nocetti and JR jr’s Daredevil run in a omnibus or Dc would do a Suicide squad or The Question omnibus from the 80’s I would be in heaven as all of those are very close to my heart ❤️ GREAT video as always!!!!

Been waiting for this video! Can't say I have 10 favorite omnies because I've only bought 10 omines so far. I'm crossing my fingers that Marvel decides to reprint Annihilation Conquet soon. The Gotham Central choice caught me by surprise.
1st, we appreciate you for sharing your love of comics with us Minties! My collection isn't anyhere near yours, so my top ten are based on the omnis I have, and have read. *Captain America by Ed Brubaker *Daredevil by Brian Michael Bendis *Punisher Max by Garth Ennis *Thor by Dan Jurgens *Iron Man by Kurt Busiek *Weapon X The Return by Frank Tieri *Fantastic Four by John Byrne *Spider-Man by Roger Stern *Hawkman by Geoff Johns *Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender
I'm right there with you with your favorite, Omar. That was also my first X-Men stuff! I didn't read the original Dark Phoenix saga, I was only reading the follow-up stories at first, so it gave the original Jean Grey and Phoenix Saga the quality of epic myth! Awesome stuff.
You have to specify what kind of bad... An Omnibus can be considered bad for many reasons. IMO the worst are the ones like DC's Rebirth. Which is just a collection of 1st issues... However they can also be bad for other reasons. Like being WAY to short like Ms Marvel omnibus. Or having a really bad binding like Miles Morales omnibus.
I don't own a crazy amount of omnis so here's a top 5 in no particular order: 1-Fourth World Omnibus 2-Superman Golden Age vol 1 3-Namor by John Byrne 4-Batman by Grant Morrison vol 1 5-fantastic Four by Lee and Kirby vol 2
You don't have to own a crazy amount to appreciate the books that you have on your list. I love the variety in there. That Fourth World is something I'm going through for the first time.
@@NearMintCondition Yeah, I like to think I'm pretty unique in how I can appreciate stuff from all eras. Now that I'm looking back on it, I literally have an omni from each of the 5 major comic eras in my list. Fourth World is amazing, inspiring stuff. Enjoy it.
Greetings from Spain! Another cool video, good list, but i see important absences, like Silver Surfer by Slott and the Allreds! Anyway, i am looking forward the batgirl reading order video, and waiting for more videos focusing in the DC Comics 2000 era, which in my opinion is one of the best (in the superhero genre), can’t wait to see you talking about Checkmate, Detective Comics by Rucka, Outsiders by Winnick, Teen Titans , Hawkman by Johns, Green Arrow by Smith, Meltzer & Hester...
Wouldn't have called this list at all except for your New Warriors and UXM! Looks like I should add a few to my wants list... Also, nice t-shirt. Best video game of all time.
Being a silver surfer fan i remember reading the new warriors issue which had Terrax in them! how cool is that?! (And a silver surfer appearance too) :)
My top would be: 1. Infinite crisis omnibus 2. JLA by Grant Morrison omnibus 3. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.2 omnibus 4. Aquaman by Geoff Johns 5. Hellblazer by Garth Ennis omnibus 6. Planetary omnibus 7. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.1 8. Batman road to no mans land omnibus 9. Flashpoint omnibus 10. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.3 omnibus
LOL, I actually own _The Colossal Conan_ , still factory-sealed in shrinkwrap (and even still in the original cardboard box that Dark Horse included with their _Colossal_ line). Never quite had the stones to open it up (though I've read the run multiple times), and then it absolutely skyrocketed in value. Got a kick out of seeing that at the very end of the episode.
@@NearMintCondition Ha, yeah, I'm still shocked at how expensive it now is, and last year I *ALLLLLLMOST* came close to finally opening and reading it, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Figure I could always keep it in reserve in case I ever need to raise some funds in the future (God forbid), but yeah -- I absolutely love how it looks on my bookshelf.
Awesome vid I'd like to see this with absolutes and OHC I don't have a top 10 but I love uncanny x-force omni cos it's my favorite marvel run and the cable deadpool omni because it has the whole series in one book and the Howard the duck omni cos I'm just glad they made it
My favorites: 1. X-Men by Morrison 2. Captain America by Brubaker 3. Daredevil by Miller 4. Daredevil by Miller Companion 5. Green Lantern by Johns 6. Batman by Grant Morrison 7. Fantastic Four by Lee and Kirby 8. Infinite Crisis 9. JSA by Johns, Goyer, and Robinson 10. Fourth World by Kirby These are also the only ten I own (so far).
Uncanny X-Men #168. So iconic to me that my best friend painted the cover art on canvas for me to hang it up. Without the logo and everything... Nobody knows what it means but me, and I grin at it every day.
In no particular order -Green Lantern (G Johns) Vol 2 -Mighty Thor (Simonson) -Xmen Age of Apocalypse -War of Kings -Realm of Kings -Aquaman (G Johns) -Flash (Buccellato) -Dr Strange Sorcerer Supreme Vol 1 -Astonishing X-Men (Whedon) -Batman Omnibus by G Morrison vol 1 It was hard not saying the entire GL run and Including the WoK Road To. Also, I don’t own the Infinity Gauntlet Omni or Inf. War Omni or they might be there. Also I don’t have any of the Jim Lee xmen omni’s or they would be on the list too.
No Omar....cheapgraphicnovels is not having a "Halloween sale" lol......surprising choices on your list of favorites. X-Men was a given for #1. Glad to hear you hype up the Annihilation Conquest book. Makes me glad I picked it up several month ago. I am curious about JSA and Doom Patrol. I don't think I will ever pick up any of the Conan books though. Not familiar with them at all but maybe one day I will change my mind if I read some of the material and end up liking it.
My Favorite Omnibus are 10.Animal Man By Grant Morrison 9.Hawkeye By Matt Fraction 8.JSA By Geoff Johns Vol.3 7.Deadpool By Gerry Duggan 6.Fantastic Four By Jonathan Hickman 5.Wolverine And The X-Men 4.Superior Foes Of Spider-Man 3.Daredevil By Mark Waid & Chris Samnee 2.Justice League International Vol.1 1.Amazing Spider-Man By David Michelinie & Todd Mcfarlane Honorable Mentions .Avengers By Kurt Busiek & George Perez .Hulk By Peter David Vol.1 .Fantastic Four By Mark Waid & Mike Wiernago .Marvel Cosmic(GOTG,Nova,Annihilation,Annihilation Conquest)By Dan Abentt & Andy Lanning .Gotham Central .Hulk By Jeph Loeb & Ed Mcguinness .Uncanny X-Men By Chris Claremont(Vol.1-3,XMEN By Jim Lee Vol.1-2,Mutant Massacre,X-MEN CLASSIC) .Amazing Spider-Man By David Michelinie & Erik Larsen .Teen Titans By Geoff Johns .Flash By Geoff Johns .Aquaman By Geoff Johns .New Teen Titans By Marv Wolfman(Vol.1-4) .JSA By Geoff Johns Vol.2
I agree, that Uncanny 3 is the best X omnibus. Better than the Phoenix Saga imo. My other favourite is the Jim Lee Vol 1 X-Men. I really enjoyed the deconstruction of the X-Men. I collect mostly X omnis and don't have anywhere near the amount of none X omnis that you have, so mine would lean heavily towards X ones, but I also love the first 2 Captain America omnis by Brubaker and Punisher Max Vol 1 by Ennis. I am also very much looking forward to getting Annihilation and Ultimates By Millar omnis, since I have already read both and love them both. I also read A vs X recently for the first time and even though it is total schlock, for some reason, I really enjoyed it and now hope it comes out in hardcover or omni.
Amazing video. I really love "top x" videos and i'm so glad you made one! Furthermore i'm very happy that Gotham Central is high on this list. Such an incredible (and sadly underrated) omnibus. Shame that Johns Green Lantern is missing, as i know you said before that you love it. But i understand not all of them can make it into the top 10 :-)
Thanks for this Omar! I’m getting ready to grab an omni from Amazon since I’m getting all these Amazon gift cards for my Bday/Xmas. This is helping me narrow down which one ☝🏽 to get first!
Conan the Barbarian by Kurt Busiek omnibus is slated for a print in December 2020. Collecting Conan: The Legend (2003) 0; Conan (2004) 1-28, 32, 39, 45, 46 & Conan: Book of Thoth (2006) 1-4
Crazy thing.. I just started reading Uncanny X-men vol 3 (Yes, it has been taking me awhile on my read through of uncanny with reading all the other comics that have been coming out). Volume 3 is great! You could have chosen any of the first 3 omnis! Volume 2 has the days of future past stuff. Crazy seeing the prices on eBay for these at the moment. (Great comics though). X-men is the diggity! :P -- As always, awesome vid Omar! Keep it real! Omnibus top 10 list: 10. The Amazing Spiderman vol.1; 9. Dr. Strange Sorcerer Supreme vol 1; 8. Neal Adams Batman; 7. HellBoy Omnibus vol 1; 6. The Punisher by Garth Ennis; 5. Conan the Barbarian (marvel years) vol 1; 4. Fantastic Four Omnibus vol 2; 3. The death and return of Superman; 2. Uncanny X-men Vol.2; 1. Batman Knightfall --- honorable mentions: Michelinie Iron Man Omnibus, Roger Stern Spider-Man, Age of Apocalypse, Punisher Rick Remender, X-Men Jim Lee Omnibus vol 2. -- Was a tough list, as you mentioned, couldn't list Sandman..
Mine would have to be: 10. Uncanny X-Force 9. Infinite Crisis 8. Immortal Iron Fist 7. Planetary 6. Brubaker Cap vol. 1 5. JLI vol. 1 4. Hickman FF 3. 52 2. New X-Men 1. Animal Man by Morrison Honorable mentions: X-Statix, Final Crisis, Doom Patrol, Deadpool by Kelly, Simonson Thor, FF by Byrne
Glad a few people are including the Planetary Omnibus in their list. I have never read it and wasn't going to pick it up but now I am considering looking into it. The story and the art look cool
I love Authority too, well the Ellis stuff anyway.. But yeah, Planetary was one of those books that got me back into comics after a bit of a hiatus, so it holds a special place in my heart.
My 10 Faves in no order: Sleeper Omnibus Darkseid War Omnibus JSA Omnibus 1-3 Squadron Supreme Omnibus Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Omnibus 1-3 Blackest Night Omnibus Wonder Woman by Brian Azzarello Omnibus Earth X omnibus 1&2 Final Crisis Omnibus Infinite Crisis Omnibus
1. Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man 2. Oz Omnibus 3. Ms. Marvel Vol. 1 4. Daredevil by Waid and Damned Vol. 2 5. Hawkeye by Fraction 6. Deadpool by Posehn and Duggan 7. Silver Surfer by Slott and Allred 8. Fantastic Four by John Byrne Vol. 2 9. Realm of Kings 10. Thanos Wars: Infinity Origins I'd easily change that #1 for a Question Omnibus. And yeah I only own Marvel Omnis.
I found the David Michelinie/Todd McFarlane Amazing Spiderman omnibus at one of my local LCS, and I didn't get it. It had ASM #301, the first comic I ever got as a kid, and I didn't get it. To be fair, I got Grant Morrison's New X-Men instead, and later got the third Stan Lee and Jack Kirby Thor ombibus, so I didn't come away empty handed without any gems, but I wanted that one, and because I usually see the omnibus collections sitting there for months at a time, I thought it would still be there the next time I came back, and it wasn't. Real shame, but I'll find it eventually.
Great vid Omar, My totally subjective list goes.... 10. Hulk - Peter David - Because its so $#(king awesome 9. Wonder Woman Vol 2 - Perez - great run, getting into the swing of things by this point. 8. The Punisher vol 1- Ennis/Dillon - nostalgia one of my first rereads after comic hiatus 7. Death & Return of Superman - nostalgia. 6. Spiderman Vs Venom - because of Max Carnage really. 5. Doom Patrol - Morrison/Case - nostalgia and quirkiness 4. Batman - Sale/Loeb - one of my first Batman reads as a kid 3. Invisibles - Morrison - love this work of GM 2. Gotham Central - Rucka/Brubaker - Simply awesome 1. X-Men Mutant Massacre - Claremont/JRSnr - not much needs to be said really some honourable mentions I have, LoEG Moore/O'Neill, Uncanny X-Force by RR, Hellblazer Ennis, Planetary, DD by Millar & by Brubaker, WWHulk PakJRJr Cap America Brubaker.
1:35 Got you Omar 😄 Nice list by the way. Astonishing X-Men will be my #1 , once I get the reprint. Right now my top 3 is probably: 1) Spider-man by Stern 2) Uncanny volume 1 (haven't read 3 yet) 3) New X-Men
This is a great video, one definitely made with a lot of heart and passion and I respect that. I have been reading a lot of manga lately, and only recently got back into comics so this list definitely helps when it comes to figuring out what I want to collect. For me, my favorite Omnibus I've experienced so far is the Geoff Johns Aquaman Omnibus. I love Aquaman. He's my second favorite superhero(Favorite is Dr. Strange) and Geoff Johns' run was amazing. The art by Ivan Reis is fantastic and the coloring is amazing. And also, it's Geoff Johns which I do love his work.
New to Omnibus Collecting, so I'll limit it to Top 4: 4.) Thor Omnibus by Strazcynski/Coipel 3.) Transformers War Within Omnibus (not the proper page size but labeled an Omnibus) 2.) X-Men: The Age of Apocalypse Omnibus 1.) Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus by Micheline/McFarlane
I have some rules to add to yours, some Marvel omni's are split, such as the Brubaker Daredevil run, which is two omni's. DC would have published this as one monster book, so I count this sort of split run as a single omnibus. Also, my list of 10 has 11 omni's, but 11 is the new 10, so it's allowed. So in no particular order: Lucifer The Authority American Vampire Harley Quinn one of the 3 Conner and Palmiotti volumes Infinite Crisis Gotham Central Planetary Daredevil Ed Brubaker Ms. Marvel New X Men Oz Shanower and Scottie Young Captain America Ed Brubaker
@Grant Sherrill Yes, DC currently has The Authority available in Absolute format over 2 volumes, and earlier this year published an omnibus which contains all the issues included in both Absolutes as well as extras, supplemental material and tie in issues. Some of the omni's Omar highlighted are out of print, all of which I would dearly love to own. Why on Earth DC needs to keep The Authority in print in both premium formats, while neglecting the gems Omar listed here is a question none of us have an answer for. And remember, Planetary is also available in both formats, Y the Last Man and Superman/Batman are headed the same way. Also, Omar has done shows listing his, I think 30 most desired DC omnibuses, and I think he said it could just as easily been 100 or more. Point being there's a lot of material worthy of premium format, yet DC opts to reprint some titles in both premium formats while leaving other titles to languish in out of print or trade format oblivion. I just don't get it.
Man I love your channel! I discovered recently because I've recently started reading all these wonderful graphic novels. Could you please recommend some original graphic novels in Spanish? (If there are any...) Saludos desde Argentina!!
My favorite omnibus I own in no particular order: Gotham Central Doom patrol morrison (more people need to read this) Fantastic Four by hickman (first omnibus ever) Green Lantern by johns vol 1 Millers daredevil Simonsons Thor Astonishing xmen Ennis Punisher Max volume 2 Planet Hulk Ultimate Spiderman (just cause I own all 12 OHCs and the omni of this great run)
Great list, Omar! I believe I have all of these still sealed. I have not read any of them yet; time is at a premium for me but I am trying to have a ton of reading for retirement. Also, I am trying to not fall a year behind!!! LOL. I swear I'm going to catch up some day.
Love your list Omar! For me personally, I don't own any Omnibuses as of right now, so I'll make a list of 10 Omnibuses I would LOVE to own as follows (but in no particular order) - 1. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 1 2. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 2 3. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 3 4. Blackest Night Omnibus 5. Secret Invasion Omnibus 6. Aquaman by Geoff Johns Omnibus 7. Annihilation Omnibus 8. Infinite Crisis Omnibus 9. Hulk (Loeb & McGuinness) OMNIBUS 10. Injustice Gods Among Us Omnibus Vol 1 A lot of this list is inspired by your videos and I think this collection would be amazing! I also would love (as an honourable mention) the Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus, and no doubt there will be more!
Phenomenal list! I love that three of the slots were taken by johns' GL four, if you count Blackest Night. I cannot wait for that Injustice Gods Among us omnibus.
My favourite read in my collection is planet hulk or punisher by garth ennis but fantastic four by lee and kirby vol 1 and 2 or asm vol 1 because they are what started the marvel universe that we know now and have awsome covers
1- Blackest Night Omnibus 2- Infinite Crisis Omnibus 3- Injustice Gods Among Us Vol 1 Omnibus 4- X-men Age Of Apocalypse Omnibus 5-The Darksied War Omnibus 6- Secret Invasion Omnibus 7-Guardians Of The Galaxy By Dan Abnett Omnibus 8- The Flash By Geoff Johns Omnibus 9- Annahilation Conquest Omnibus 10- Planet Hulk Omnibus

Spider-Gwen Omnibus 6. Geoff Johns Aquaman Omnibus 5. Flashpoint Omnibus 4. BMB Daredevil Omni Vols 1/2 3. Paul Dini Batman Omnibus 2. Snyder/Capullo Batman Omni vol 1 1. Star Wars The Old Republic Omnibus
My favorite omnibi are: 1. Mark Waid Daredevil vol 1 2. Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender 3. Y: The Last Man BKV 4. Fantastic Four by Mark Waid 5. American Vampire Omni vol 1 6. Ex Machina BKV 7. Daredevil Brian Bendis vol 1 8. Daredevil Brian Bendis vol 2 9. Astonishing X-Men Joss Weadon 10. Geoff Johns Green Lantern vol 1
Oxford English dictionary says "Octopi" is an incorrect plural form of "Octopus" because it falsely assumes "Octopus", with the "us" suffix is a Roman Latin word. However, it still includes the incorrect plural simply because it's so commonly used. "Octopuses" and "Octopodes" are actually the correct plural. So, do we run into the same issue with "Omnibus"? "Omnibuses"? "Omnibodes"? LOL
Good choices! I'm glad you included dOOM pATROL. I'm not a GRant Morrison fan but this is one series he got right. PS Could you please add a link to the Epic Editions Podcast on the listing for the video you recently did with the host? Thanks.

An Omnibus can be considered bad for many reasons.
IMO the worst are the ones like DC's Rebirth. Which is just a collection of 1st issues...

Enjoy it.
Gotham Central is awesome! Never gets mentioned so I was surprised it made it. Love how they made a Gotham story interesting with so little Batman!
It is phenomenal.
First time I hear about that comic, but given how great the Gotham T.V show is, I actually was not that surprised.
I love all those books. Seriously. They are amazing.
Wouldn't have called this list at all except for your New Warriors and UXM! Looks like I should add a few to my wants list... Also, nice t-shirt. Best video game of all time.
thank you!!! I have fond memories of playing the game with my brother.
Planetary Omnibus
Swamp Thing Bronze Age Omnibus
Authority Omnibus
Love this list.
Being a silver surfer fan i remember reading the new warriors issue which had Terrax in them! how cool is that?! (And a silver surfer appearance too) :)
You have a great memory! YES!!!
My top would be:
1. Infinite crisis omnibus
2. JLA by Grant Morrison omnibus
3. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.2 omnibus
4. Aquaman by Geoff Johns
5. Hellblazer by Garth Ennis omnibus
6. Planetary omnibus
7. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.1
8. Batman road to no mans land omnibus
9. Flashpoint omnibus
10. Batman by Grant Morrison vol.3 omnibus
Cool dog Omar. German Shepard?
Great list and great video.
Thank you so much, brother. He is a mutt. German Shepard and hound.
I mean if you aren't reading it, have you seen the crazy prices it goes for?
@@NearMintCondition Ha, yeah, I'm still shocked at how expensive it now is, and last year I *ALLLLLLMOST* came close to finally opening and reading it, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Figure I could always keep it in reserve in case I ever need to raise some funds in the future (God forbid), but yeah -- I absolutely love how it looks on my bookshelf.
Awesome vid I'd like to see this with absolutes and OHC I don't have a top 10 but I love uncanny x-force omni cos it's my favorite marvel run and the cable deadpool omni because it has the whole series in one book and the Howard the duck omni cos I'm just glad they made it
I will keep making these. I love Gerber's Howard the Duck.
I forgot about that outro. Classic.
My favorites:
1. X-Men by Morrison
2. Captain America by Brubaker
3. Daredevil by Miller
4. Daredevil by Miller Companion
5. Green Lantern by Johns
6. Batman by Grant Morrison
7. Fantastic Four by Lee and Kirby
8. Infinite Crisis
9. JSA by Johns, Goyer, and Robinson
10. Fourth World by Kirby
These are also the only ten I own (so far).
Great freaking list! And some of the best books ever!
Uncanny X-Men #168. So iconic to me that my best friend painted the cover art on canvas for me to hang it up. Without the logo and everything... Nobody knows what it means but me, and I grin at it every day.
That is amazing!!! I love that. YES, I'd love to see pictures of that one day.
In no particular order
-Green Lantern (G Johns) Vol 2
-Mighty Thor (Simonson)
-Xmen Age of Apocalypse
-War of Kings
-Realm of Kings
-Aquaman (G Johns)
-Flash (Buccellato)
-Dr Strange Sorcerer Supreme Vol 1
-Astonishing X-Men (Whedon)
-Batman Omnibus by G Morrison vol 1
It was hard not saying the entire GL run and Including the WoK Road To. Also, I don’t own the Infinity Gauntlet Omni or Inf. War Omni or they might be there. Also I don’t have any of the Jim Lee xmen omni’s or they would be on the list too.
I know...that's what makes it tough...which volume of the omni to choose. :)
Loving these top tens
Thank you so much, brother.
Noooo this is what happens when you get four hours of sleep. :) Try the Conan Epic.
My Favorite Omnibus are

.Aquaman By Geoff Johns
.New Teen Titans By Marv Wolfman(Vol.1-4)
.JSA By Geoff Johns Vol.2
Great list. Love that you put JLI and Superior Foes in there.
Those Brubaker omnis are great as well as the Punisher Max omnibus.
Thank you so much for watching and it was so hard to make my top 10.
@@NearMintCondition Haha i understand. Hope you'll do more of this type of video though :)
DC has the right idea on making four ten-issue trades of the complete Gotham Central
I'd love to hear the Omar bio! :)
You got it.
Thanks for this Omar! I’m getting ready to grab an omni from Amazon since I’m getting all these Amazon gift cards for my Bday/Xmas. This is helping me narrow down which one ☝🏽 to get first!
Thankj you for watching and the kind words!
That poor table 😂
It's had it's fair share of freaking weight on it. :)
Conan the Barbarian by Kurt Busiek omnibus is slated for a print in December 2020. Collecting Conan: The Legend (2003) 0; Conan (2004) 1-28, 32, 39, 45, 46 & Conan: Book of Thoth (2006) 1-4
It was this video that made that happen. :)
It's tough, right? Specially when you can't pick all the volumes of X-men.
My personal favorites are Deadpool and Cable, Marvel Zombies, Monsterbus Vol. 1, Darth Vader, and JSA Volume 2-3
Great list!
Mine would have to be:
10. Uncanny X-Force
9. Infinite Crisis
8. Immortal Iron Fist
7. Planetary
6. Brubaker Cap vol. 1
5. JLI vol. 1
4. Hickman FF
3. 52
2. New X-Men
1. Animal Man by Morrison
Honorable mentions: X-Statix, Final Crisis, Doom Patrol, Deadpool by Kelly, Simonson Thor, FF by Byrne
So you are man that believes Planetary > Authority. Same here. :)
My 10 Faves in no order:
Sleeper Omnibus
Darkseid War Omnibus
JSA Omnibus 1-3
Squadron Supreme Omnibus
Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Omnibus 1-3
Blackest Night Omnibus
Wonder Woman by Brian Azzarello Omnibus
Earth X omnibus 1&2

Infinite Crisis Omnibus
Love your list. It was tough for me to include just one volume of the JSA run.
1. Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man
2. Oz Omnibus
3. Ms. Marvel Vol. 1
4. Daredevil by Waid and Damned Vol. 2
5. Hawkeye by Fraction
6. Deadpool by Posehn and Duggan
7. Silver Surfer by Slott and Allred

10. Thanos Wars: Infinity Origins
I'd easily change that #1 for a Question Omnibus. And yeah I only own Marvel Omnis.
All Marvel except the Question. Got it.
This is my favourite of your videos. Why no love for Daredevil?
This was so tough as it was. DD would have made top 20. :)
That little table cannot take all that weight
LOL it was struggling.
That shirt makes me smile.
You are a man of good taste!
Not a bad list! I would have had to include a Geoff Johns Green Lantern omnibus in there.
It was tough for me.... I could really make a top dc omnibus list and most would be Geoff Johns.
Yes so sooooo true
Would love to get this epic New Warriors omni with the announcement of the new series lighting up social media lol.
The classic New Warriors is best.
My 2nd favorite Omnibus is also Infinite Crisis, however, my absolute favorite is Age of Apocalypse.
What a great choice for an omnibus. Love that one too.
Great vid Omar,
My totally subjective list goes....
10. Hulk - Peter David - Because its so $#(king awesome
9. Wonder Woman Vol 2 - Perez - great run, getting into the swing of things by this point.
8. The Punisher vol 1- Ennis/Dillon - nostalgia one of my first rereads after comic hiatus
7. Death & Return of Superman - nostalgia.
6. Spiderman Vs Venom - because of Max Carnage really.
5. Doom Patrol - Morrison/Case - nostalgia and quirkiness
4. Batman - Sale/Loeb - one of my first Batman reads as a kid
3. Invisibles - Morrison - love this work of GM
2. Gotham Central - Rucka/Brubaker - Simply awesome
1. X-Men Mutant Massacre - Claremont/JRSnr - not much needs to be said really
some honourable mentions I have,
LoEG Moore/O'Neill, Uncanny X-Force by RR, Hellblazer Ennis, Planetary, DD by Millar & by Brubaker, WWHulk PakJRJr Cap America Brubaker.
Phenomenal list! So glad to see Invisibles and Mutant Massacre here.
1:35 Got you Omar 😄
Nice list by the way. Astonishing X-Men will be my #1 , once I get the reprint.
Right now my top 3 is probably:
1) Spider-man by Stern
2) Uncanny volume 1 (haven't read 3 yet)
3) New X-Men
I love this list. So much greatness.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
@@NearMintCondition No problem. :)
Daredevil by Frank Miller and Klaus Jensen Omnibus is my number 1 favorite Omnibus!
New to Omnibus Collecting, so I'll limit it to Top 4:
4.) Thor Omnibus by Strazcynski/Coipel
3.) Transformers War Within Omnibus (not the proper page size but labeled an Omnibus)
2.) X-Men: The Age of Apocalypse Omnibus
1.) Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus by Micheline/McFarlane
War within! Great choice
So in no particular order:
Lucifer
The Authority
American Vampire
Harley Quinn one of the 3 Conner and Palmiotti volumes
Infinite Crisis
Gotham Central
Planetary
Daredevil Ed Brubaker
Ms. Marvel
New X Men
Oz Shanower and Scottie Young
Captain America Ed Brubaker
Rules are meant to be broken. LOVE IT! Great list BTW. I hope we get a continuation of American Vampire in omni format.
Stryder was my highlight!
he's a camera hog. :)
That table was struggling dude 🤣
That’s why I got a new one.
@@NearMintCondition im shocked your shelves stay up at this point.
Man I love your channel! I discovered recently because I've recently started reading all these wonderful graphic novels. Could you please recommend some original graphic novels in Spanish? (If there are any...) Saludos desde Argentina!!

My favorite omnibus I own in no particular order:

Fantastic Four by hickman (first omnibus ever)
Green Lantern by johns vol 1
Millers daredevil
Simonsons Thor
Astonishing xmen
Ennis Punisher Max volume 2
Planet Hulk
Ultimate Spiderman (just cause I own all 12 OHCs and the omni of this great run)
Great list. Love Astonishing so much.
Great list, Omar! I believe I have all of these still sealed. I have not read any of them yet; time is at a premium for me but I am trying to have a ton of reading for retirement.
Also, I am trying to not fall a year behind!!! LOL. I swear I'm going to catch up some day.
Please do and you know I love seeing your name pop up every time. :)
You do a video like that before a GBlack Fridayyyyyyy....!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so cruel. now i'm online looking for some of these titles.
I knew I should have waited until next week!! My bad.
Love your list Omar! For me personally, I don't own any Omnibuses as of right now, so I'll make a list of 10 Omnibuses I would LOVE to own as follows (but in no particular order) -
1. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 1
2. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 2
3. Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Vol 3

6. Aquaman by Geoff Johns Omnibus
7. Annihilation Omnibus
8. Infinite Crisis Omnibus
9. Hulk (Loeb & McGuinness) OMNIBUS
10. Injustice Gods Among Us Omnibus Vol 1
A lot of this list is inspired by your videos and I think this collection would be amazing!
Awesome! I'm glad I have some of those which are indeed super good.
Omar, do you have comic books in spanish in your collection as well?
I have some manga and Elfos in Spanish and Torpedo!

I only have asm vol 1 and thor by Simonson and they're both great, it really irritates me however that marvel won't reprint asm vol 2/3
I agree, add to that Hulk vol 1, Thor vol 1, Avengers Vol 1, Iron Man vol 1, and X-Men vol 2 & 3.
Give it some time. I promise as soon as I can announce reprints, I will.
Very inspiring list Omar 🖖🍀🙏
Thank you, sir. And Marvel is reprinting some of these. :)
Near Mint Condition and I am loving it 😁
My most wanted is Deadpool and Cable omnibus and Deadpool by Joe Kelly omnibus. Also Sandman omnibuses.
Deadpool and Cable is no joke.
I would definitely look forward to a Joe Kelly reprint too
Great list!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
LOL
I talked to David from Marvel today. Since he coined the term Omnibus, he says the plural is omniboo. BTW you are the first person I told. :)
It would be cool to see an updated list.
Good choices! I'm glad you included dOOM pATROL. I'm not a GRant Morrison fan but this is one series he got right.
PS Could you please add a link to the Epic Editions Podcast on the listing for the video you recently did with the host? Thanks.
oh yes, let me get the link from him. Thank you for reminding me.
Here’s a video I like the re-watch once a year or so.
Beautiful content!
Thank you so much for the kind words.
I may have missed it, but have you ever done an Avengers by Kurt Busiek retroview?! I think that’d be a lot of fun!
I was gonna subscribe anyway after finding your content but the name of your channel just made it that much easier lol I can relate
Thrilling Sun thank you so much for the kind words :) and welcome aboard.
