Thank you so much for this video!! It was a lifesaver for my husband and daughter while they installed my new dishdrawers. My old one lasted 20 years. About a month ago I could only use the bottom drawer. I love this dishwasher! Wouldn't be without it!
A great video, thanks. After my old dishdrawer gave up the ghost after 20 years, I bought a new one. This helped enormously with something that should have been so simple - lowering the height of the toe-kick so the bottom drawer would glide in easily. Until I saw this I thought I would have to manage without it - doh!
I worked as a appliance installer 13 years ago. One of the products we installed then were these double drawer dishwashers. They have gotten a lot easier to instal. And harder. Putting in all those screws is going to make getting these things out a pain in the ass unless you know what your doing. I feel sorry for the owner of my house after me lol
thanks for your comment! As my husband and I are in our early 70s, I took the time to make a note on the booklet for whomever may buy this house when we vacate.
Appliance tech here, I saw this dishwasher at a customers home the other day and couldn’t figure out how to uninstall it to get to the components. In general these are good dishwasher unless something goes wrong. Not all technicians will be knowledgeable about this dishwasher unless like me they start studying them. They are not very famous because of their weirdness of being 2 separate machines in one. But for some odd reason I feel these are very reliable dishwashers because the once I have seen were always very old. I personally wouldn’t buy it for myself though.
The Y-joiner is put on in the wrong orientation. It should be 90 Deg to the way its installed so that water will drain instead of sumping in the bottom drain hose which will cause a smelly drain
Manufactures like to say not to use an extension chord. There should never be a problem with a good quality extension chord. If there ever was then then they should have been banned. However running extremely long chords or connecting multiple to get a long chord can cause significant voltage drop - specially on a heavy load. If you are running Christmas lights - then go Griswold.
I bought this dishwasher, had it installed and it lasted 4 days until it flooded the kitchen. I replaced it with a Bosch Benchmark and never looked back. I would not recommend this machine to anyone.
Possibly you installed it incorrectly. My handyman installed mine and he said it was very different then other dishwashers he has installed. Mine works perfectly.

Much better than the Fisher and Paykel installation video. Well done.
Excellent video! Made installation so much easier. Many thanks.

How does this work with an air gap?
What air gap

I like ours

Installed myself as per instructions, been using it from last 4 years. Working perfectly. Not sure how you installed this one.
These dishwasher are problematic to say the least. I recommend Bosch to all my customers.
I purchased one about a year ago and love it. It cleans and sanitizes very well. It matches the other high end appliances in my lake front home.
I had mine for 20 years and had no problems that I couldn't fix myself. I finally had to order a new one a month ago. I wouldn't be without it!
