    Nice review! Just received my 3200 and like others I found your video really informative, especially the strength tip. I was surprised the unit didn’t have a frothing only option. I guess I’ve gotten too used to the 2 function option

    Thank you so much for share... I have buy this coffee maker 3200..and I couldn't make the coffee strong. After your videos I make a perfect coffee.. The only thing I can't find is for the water temperature...

    • @craftcoffeespot

      Happy to help! Note: water temperature is different for some models. If you don’t have a LatteGo (model 3221), manual says "Tap the coffee temperature icon repeatedly to select the desired temperature." Try that.

    I just bought this and the quantities are kind a disappointing. Even on high nothing changes. With out the milk it doesn't even seem like a cup of coffee. I end up brewing twice to get he amount I want.

    What grind setting do you find best for regular coffee? Using Lavazza beans but haven’t changed the grind setting ever.

    • @craftcoffeespot

      I run at a 2 or 3 grind setting.

    • @craftcoffeespot

      Try going one notch finer and you should notice a difference. Take note - it may takes several drinks before the old coffee grounds are purge through the burrs.

    Manual says dont use espresso beans because it can damage the grinder. But how can it then make espresso?

    • @craftcoffeespot

      Any coffee beans can make espresso, espresso is about how you make a coffee as a concentrated quantity, not the beans. “Espresso beans” really means “very dark roast”. You should avoid really dark roasted beans, because they are oily and the oil clogs the grinder. That’s the problem.
      I think you’ll find medium roast tastes better and less bitter/burnt. Also, if you’re buying specialty beans (like stumptown, intelligentsia, or counter culture), expect they’ll all be good even their “espresso roast.”
      Tl;dr don’t use cheap, oily coffee beans!!

    Hi. I have set the temperature to maximum. However, milk coffees (latte ,cappuccino) are not coming hot.Coffee tastes great however its luke warm.
    Is there any other setting I'm missing?

    • @craftcoffeespot

      I’d try running hot water first - that may help preheat the machine. That sounds very odd as mine got really hot.

    Hi, I purchased Philips 3200 Lattego few days ago.
    I have set the temperature to maximum however milk coffee (latte ,cappuccino) are not coming hot.They are luke warm.
    Is this how it is in this coffee machine? Or I got a defective one?

    • @craftcoffeespot

      That is odd, and this is the second comment on this. You can try running hot water to pre heat. Otherwise, I may contact Philips.

    What does the button in middle mean, the one below the notif that shows there's no water. How to correct it.

    • @craftcoffeespot

      That second light means empty the old coffee pucks! Pull out your water tray, and you'll see empty pucks behind it. This turns on every ~6-8 shots, and you need to pull out the tray *while the machine is on* to reset the counter. You probably already emptied it, but unless the machine is on when you pull out the tray, it won't reset.

    I don’t know what’s wrong with mine. It doesn’t even fill up a medium cup . My settings are all the way up.

    • @craftcoffeespot

      Make your grind size coarser.
      Also, remember all these sizes are relatively small. The largest is still 6-8 oz. For a big drink, you’re better off making a double espresso and adding hot water.

    Do we need to press the power button to turn it off every time after using it?

    • @craftcoffeespot

      Not really for back-to-back drinks, but it will auto shut off and rinse before shut off which helps keep it clean.

  • @TheFroderik

    Could you recommend smth to do if coffee is dispensing mostly (sometimes only) from the one pipe? (brewing regular espresso) thanks 🙏

    • @craftcoffeespot

      The nozzle is clogged. Use a small needle or pin to poke through the hole and break the coffee residue. Try to even take off that front nozzle and clean/soak it thoroughly.
