i love my 3200. i used to make my own coffee its either its too bitter or a bit sour which i dont like to drink it without sugar. it could be my cheap grinder or water temp. with the 3200 i can make latte machiao without sugar. its taste so delicious with just milk and coffee beans. now i dont need to add sugar which its even healthier for me. plus without sugar crash
Thank you for an excellent review and breakdown of usage of the machine. I just picked up the 4300 series and very happy with it thus far. Cheers from Queensland Australia.
Great video! Just bought the 3200 and happy I found this informative video on it.
Enjoy your machine! Great choice :)
This is a great video! I just purchased mine on prime day and I can’t wait to use it!!! I think y’all covered every question I had!
How much was it on prime day?
been using my 3200 for about a week not and come across this. know i now how to adjust those temp and such and about hard scale water. lucky i have reverse osmosis so i dont need to worry about it
Just got this a week ago. Once you figure out how to use it. Its really easy.
Enjoy your machine!
Thanks again for a great setup, best configuration and review!
Thank you!
Hey, Rebecca's back! ❤
what kind of water test strips are those and where can i buy them?
any suggestions on making a macchiato with this machine?
Thanks! God bless you
I have this machine and after 6 months of use, when preparing the cappuccino, a little water is coming out before the milk starts to come out, it is also splashing and making a mess. It's the second machine I have, the first was replaced under warranty and now this new machine is having exactly the same problem after 6 months of use.
Is this normal for this to happen over time?
IS THERE A PHILIPS SHOWROOM NEAR CHICAGO ILLINOIS WHERE I CAN TRY COFFEE FROM THE MACHINE BEFORE I BUY
Any advice for how to make iced coffee on the previous version of the 3200?
Hi! For that machine pour a shot of espresso over ice and then add some cold water :)
I have this exact machine and I have a few gripes, but some, if not most may be me just needing to learn the machine. However, my absolute biggest gripe is directly related to aesthetics. This machine, like all machines that cost this amount of money, looks beautiful sitting on the counter. Unfortunately, the metal plate that your cup sits on scratches EXTREMELY EASILY and looks like garbage after a short amount of time owning. I really wish they could figure out a fix for this, or even some type of good looking skin, or cover. Such a shame owning something this expensive that looks the way it does already.
The metal cup plate : 1) scratches extremely easily and 2) never really sits down properly on the housing. You have to jiggle it around a bit. Also if you end up putting slightly too much ground java into the opening, the machine just flushes the ground without brewing. One scoop and one 9oz scoop only. Otherwise a great machine.
In what level you have adjusted the grinder for best results?
When testing the water strips do the green or reddish color correlate to the light number choice on the machine. My strip showed 3 green so is that 3 lights or 1?
One, you need to count the red ones.
I just got my 3200 and I absolutely love it. One question I still have. On the milk compartment of the lattego, there is an icon for capuccino, one icon for latte machiatto and another one for 2x cappucino. I dont understand how the 2x cappucino can be used as when I select Cappucino, I dont have the option for 2x like I do for espresso or coffee.
Thoughts?
It's for when you do two consecutive drinks
Any idea how many beans are used for each of the aroma strengths please?
The philips will grind between 5-12g per cup! But not sure about exact amounts per strength setting
If you don’t have an ice coffee button, how do you use the older 3200 to make iced coffee?
You would pour espresso over ice and add cold water :)
2% milk is the highest sugar. Should be whole. We actually do breve with Half and Half.
Hello,
After setting the temperature to maximum as per your recommendation, still the cappuccino and latte are not that hot. What's the solution?
This machine will not make extra hot beverages, you could try pouring your beverage into a pre heated mug to increase the temperature!
Really enjoyed the details in this video. Can you go into more depth about not using dark roast beans? Thanks!
Hi! Thank you for watching! Using dark roast beans are oily, and that oily can act as a binding agent with the fine grind sizes, clogging your grinder :)
Thank you!

Hi, I'm in Australia and i really need this machine in my life. Where can i purchase this from? I can't seem to find it anywhere in Australia. Please 😊😊
Seems Phillips went backward then as the much newer 5400 model doesn’t have an ice coffee button……which is disappointing as I drink iced coffee all the time and with way less expensive machines I’ve owned before. If I want to make an iced coffee with the 5400 in a 14 oz travel mug, what are your settings recommendations?
We would recommend filling your cup up with ice, pouring an espresso shot over the ice, and then topping with cold water or milk :)
My aquafilter will not stay on with the 3200, any suggestions?
Hmmm.. We would definitely recommend reaching out to Philips!
I have this machine w/o the cold brew feature. I am having a difficult time getting a robust cup of coffee. I am not using expresó beans….could that be the problem?
That could be! Try switching beans, and making your grind size slightly finer :)
is this comparable to the delonghi truebrew? can you make coffee and use coffee beans with the lattego / can you make espresso and use espresso beans with the truebrew?
The TrueBrew will make an espresso like beverage using whichever beans are in the hopper (coffee is fine). The Philips will not make a drip style coffee :)
@@ecscoffeeinc thank you! Btw I watched your videos on the delonghi as well and based on those I think the true brew sounds a little more of a good all around daily machine.
Can i brew a double cappachino in one go??
Not a double cappuccino no
Can it be programmed to run at a certain time?
no, but it's super quick to turn on and heat the water for a coffee. I can't see any reason why you'd want to preprogram this to come on at a certain time, when you're pushing a button on this machine to turn on and make a drink in under a couple minutes.
is this the best super automatic espresso machine under 1000$?
It is definitely up there! This and the Magnifica Evo from DeLonghi would be our top picks!
Basically
So is the Philips 4300 worth the extra cost?
The Philips 4300 offers you more pre-programmed beverages and user profiles! The quality of coffee will be the same, but it offers more customization :)
I wouldn’t call this an actual review when you have a rep from the company there. Tutorial maybe, but not a review. You can’t do an actual product review with a company rep because he won’t say anything bad about the product.
look at the lid shot at 13:20. not sure having all that moisture then putting my ground coffee in there would work out so well
It acts as an exhaust too. There is no moisture in the main bean compartment.
If one filter does 800 cups... that's not up to 5000 cups of coffee!!!
The idea is that if you use the filter, which you would change, then the descale wont be required for 5000 cups. If you do not use the filter it will happen much sooner
*Promosm* 😥
Costly and high maintenance 😳
If she speaks less would be great 😢
Ok to grind it more where you have to turn knob to lover number or higher?!?
