I can’t help but think maybe that second screen approach has seeped into the show, considering how empty and slow the episode is that you really don’t have to pay attention to it.

Family Guy's just gone far past its prime that its essentially lost its fanbase and most people just hate it, I'd say its fate is more emblematic of Fairly Odd Parents

First 10 seasons: “Remember when”….*cutback* Stewie has a diabolical plan to kill…(name here) Last 10-15 seasons: Brian’s back. Meg still sucks and Quagmire isn’t as perverted. And Stewie is….basically a smart manipulative toddler.
Quagmire is still perverted but they tone it way down given that they made jokes about him sexually harassing women and forcing himself onto women. They give him i think two backstories why he does it which doesn't excuse his behavior regardless.

I know this isn’t a ranking video, but please, PLEASE do “Every Episode of Adventure Time Ranked”. It’s such a good show that starts off as a slapstick episodic comedy, but over the course of 10 seasons, develops into an emotionally mature, serialized show that tackles some really hard subjects in a pretty serious way, without losing the fun charm that made it so good in the first place.
Family guy is like a dying loved one on life support, you don’t want them to die, but they’ve been long past they’re prime and you know they’ll never be as good as they once where.
I think what would have made this and The Halloween special more better is that instead of just regular episodes make them 1 Hour specials like Then there were fewer or the Star Wars specials,at least then it would stand out from being just regular episodes that are exclusive to Hulu
Road to the North Pole is an excellent anti christmas special in line with the live action remake of the Grinch, in that it is a fairly pointed critique of modern christmas and how capitalism has low key destroyed this holiday of peace, companionship, and good will
