Consider running each axle's brakes through a balance bar so a given pull results on equal force even with subtle differences in length/freeplay in the cable. Also consider splitting front rear with another balance bar both for the same reason, and adjustable so you can tailor the front-rear brake balance and avoid it being tail happy under brakes or slowing too slowly with insufficient rear. I can't believe I'm giving brake setup advice to a model maker! Nice job though! I need to find your engine build and see how she runs. :-)

I'm not sure how much of that car you made or bought, but you have an amazing car and the brake system that you made is awesome. Nothing I ever try to make turns out so well, but I just got my first RC transmitter and receiver for my first real electric RC car build, and I just tested out the steering and I was blown away how precise an responsive it is. I finally built something that I am proud of. I cannot believe how well it turned out. I used 16 bearings on the front 2 wheels, suspension, and steering mechanisms. The key to it was to use bearings everywhere, and never try to lever anything on a bearing. Put support on both sides of all bearings so there is no leverage against the bearing itself. For example, for the steering, I had to make a box like mechanism that had bearings on both sides. It is too hard to describe in text, but it turned out really nice and solid and precise. It is hard for me to believe that I built it. The other key for me was to get a real RC transmitter and reciever and ditch the NRF24L01 modules. I got them working once on an RC boat, but I had to use real Arduino Mega's (or real Uno's), and not the Chinese copies that do not supply enough amperage on the 5v out pins.

I like your videos! Most youtubers would spend more of their time taking instead of actually showing what they are doing but on the other hand instead of talking you just have like a short caption of what you are about to do. Doing this actually makes me focused more in the car. Keep up the awesome videos!

DUDE! I had an RC-10 T3 back when they first came out, and my brother-in-law told me it was pointless to put disc brakes on an RC car. I told him I didn't care about the pointlessness, and he never understood. Thank you for making my seventeen year old self happy!
